Venus Square Saturn: September 3, 2012 – Give To Get
My eye on the sky.
Venus in Cancer squares Saturn in Libra in the wee hours of the morning on September 3rd in the US at 26 degrees. Venus is a benefic planet, like a kiss. Saturn is exalted in Libra. Theoretically this transit should bring something solid (Saturn) and positive (Venus), but I don’t think it’s going to feel that way to most. The word “bittersweet” comes to mind.
We are all going to run into some kind of limitation (Saturn) around love or money (Venus) under this aspect. You may not feel you have enough of either, but even wealth (Venus) can be a burden (Saturn), when you are valued for what you can buy over who you are.
To appreciate the effects of this aspect, think in terms of “less is more”. Less is more, when the item we’re talking about is a problem. If your debt is reduced by half, you may still owe money, but the improvement in your situation cannot be denied.
You may very well have to give to get this week. To fare well, try to interact with others, maturely (Saturn) and fairly (Libra). Otherwise, you can expect rejection (Saturn) which and be seen as a benefit (Venus) because it teaches a lesson (Saturn) in love and grace (Venus).

This square is on the angles of my chart and I feel it acutely. I can’t go 3 feet without hitting a line or a limit, however, I am loved.

Venus will be conjunct my mercury & sn for this one. I can tell you I already feel this, as in today, right now.

As I said on a recent thread asking about worth, I define mine to a large extent by how I treat others. I consider part of my job in life to try and get along with other people. This square involves my Libra NN/10th.
oh wow, this Venus will be right on my Venus while Saturn is right on my Saturn. an exact return of my natal placement.. wonder what this has in store for me :/
Being a late Cancer, Venus conjuncted my Sun on the 3rd. Saturn’s been squaring my sun for a long time and conjuncting my Neptune in Libra as well. It was not such a bad day. Saturday, September 1 was pretty unpleasant, though.
Basically, 2012 has been an interesting year. I’m living in interesting times. Catch my drift, y’all?

I have Venus square Saturn natally (Venus in 7th house Virgo to Saturn Rx in 4th house Gemini). This one will happen right past my SN (Venus) and my Sun (Saturn)from houses 9 (Saturn) to 6 (Venus). It will also aspect my AC at 25′ 45″ Aqua.
*Raises hand* I’d like to volunteer to do a little research into this “money is a burden” thing. LOL.
Looking at the house placements and thinking of what is currently going on in my sphere, I have a pretty good idea how this will play out for me. Bittersweet, indeed.
