“Hey, I put some new shoes on and suddenly everything’s fine… I say, ‘hello new shoes, goodbye blues!’”
Sunday morning the Moon starts out in Sagittarius and moves into Capricorn. By the end of the day the Moon conjuncts Pluto and squares Uranus. Mercury in Leo hits the midpoint of the the Pluto Uranus square which draws in Pallas Athena conjuncting Uranus. Pallas Athena embodies the function of whole-pattern recognition and the ability to make sense of complicated concepts. The Moon brings in access to a deep emotional process and Mercury is in the perfect position to add it all up and spit out some serious, logical reckoning.
For those who struggle with anxiety, the Moon in aspect to the Pluto Uranus square brings this issue into focus. However, two days with the Moon in Jupiter-ruled Sadge culminating in a sextile to Saturn and Mars presents a unique opportunity to capitalize on these energies and increase one’s ability to ward off anxiety. Mars trining Neptune is at play here as well. You can access a higher ability to transcend. This can allow you to go deeper and stay longer, really get into the heart of the matter.
The Jupiter Moon this weekend brought a level of buoyant emotional energy we haven’t seen in a while. Saturday it aspected Jupiter in Gemini, upping its perky quotient even further. At that point, if you were still feeling dysfunctionally anxious, you probably had to feed into it, consciously or unconsciously, to maintain a negative feeling state. Sunday is a day to look at patterns in how you feel. Take them in sensually, take them in intellectually. Look back over the weekend’s emotional landscapes and parse your ups and downs. When did you feel good? When did you feel bad? What was going on in your mind and in your environment? No matter what happens to us we always retain some element of control. We control how we think and how we act. That is our power.
This is a great time to work out exactly how your thoughts and actions contribute to feeling better or to feeling worse. You have a choice. The Sun opposes Neptune and will soon oppose Chiron. Whatever your damage, this is an opportunity to start anew, start a new pattern and make a conscious choice about whether you will be a victim to circumstance, a rudderless boat on the ocean at the whim of the current, or whether you’re going to pick up the oars and row to your destination.
