Pisces-style dressers, pixies, fairies, changelings and the like, are hard to pin down. It’s a good thing I am a Pisces for I understand this style dressing completely. A Pisces Sun often dresses for another part of their chart because Pisces is not so strong as to overcome some influences that could drive them to dress for their Sun. There are people, however, who do dress for Pisces whether it be their Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars or an aspect in their natal chart. There are also transits from Neptune that can bring about an affair with Pisces dressing that is fun, mysterious and very interesting. To dress in the Pisces fashion is first to understand that a Pisces is able to walk through a room of people and be invisible. A Pisces can also walk through a room and make sure every single person sees them! A Pisces-type dresser has certain magic tricks they apply to their dressing that other signs do not.

When you think of a Pisces you should think of a person who is not always of this world. A Pisces has many looks but some are more fitting than others. Pisces-type dressers look great in the new fashion of short dresses and tunics worn over tights of every color or pants. Prints can take over a Pisces so this season of prints brings us a season of Pisces being very careful, so choose prints that are small and not too intrusive so they might shine through. A dress that floats is great in a short style with black or colored tights and looks smashing on a Pisces, fairy-type dresser because the clothing moves and they can move freely without feeling that their panties are going to show or something else they may not want to flaunt. This great style of dressing with tights can be done with tights that are footless but reach the ankle, tights with feet to keep you warm or instead of tights, jeans or pants underneath a flowing dress.

Prints this season in garden looks or even floral work best for the changeling Pisces dresser and bring their fantasies to life. Working with colored tights or pants under these dresses make the look even more interesting while letting the Pisces type create their own look instead of using someone else’s idea. Often the Pisces-type dresser puts together their own look much better than some designers or personal dressers do. I should mention the color blush here when it comes to Pisces dressers because it is huge this season. This color called “blush” is a very soft, pink sort of color that is close to a light complexion and very, very flattering on all skin colors that are Pisces types. This new color almost floats on the body and comes in dresses, pants, coats and everything else, so look for it when you shop!

Clothing should float a bit on a Pisces type and allow them to hide a bit when they want to. In this sort of fashion we find hoods, capes, the new oversized coats and ruffled collars appear. The Pisces type does not try to stand out but does not like to disappear either. Most Pisces types do have black clothing which is very good for them to keep their energy for themselves. If you are a Pisces sort of dresser try black on days when you need to keep yourself from blending your energy with someone else’s. Black blazers, coats and clothing all work towards keeping in energy. Black is very, very hot this season, and although leather is not very Pisces it comes in clothing too this season that is in new shapes and textures for the Pisces to mix and match. Mixing and matching is a Pisces-type gift because creating themselves is all of the fun. Using the new prints to express yourself you can dress in mostly black and pop in a blouse that flows or a skirt that flutters to keep things Pisces and moving. Like water, Pisces clothing is best moving so keep things flowy, fluttering and waving in your wardrobe as much as possible. Since you are very sensitive you may be itchy in wool and some blends so think about getting your clothing lined or having it lined after you buy it. Lined clothing can be a bit more expensive but it keeps the Pisces dresser comfy and their delicate skin is protected. Long maxi skirts that move when you walk look great on you as do kicky little skirts with tights in black that look like they belong in anther color. So, take advantage of this season’s black push and keep your energy protected whenever it needs help!

When Pisces dressers want to welcome the public into their space and mix, there is nothing like a colorful print to say “hello.” The fabric you choose must move and I love the maxi dresses with skirts that move or shorter skirts with fluttering hemlines that flutter when you walk. Use the season’s garden prints and floral prints, (yes, floral prints for fall,) to fill your wardrobe with new pieces that move and mix and match them with your clothing from previous seasons. Keep the fabric light even if it is wool for wool comes in weights that are light and you can layer over them to give yourself a look that moves on your body. Wear two very lightweight wool sweaters, one in a print and another in a solid, over a loose but thin-legged pair of pants. Try a shorter wool print dress in a great print over a colored tight and make sure the skirt of the dress has kick. The idea for Pisces to stay happy is to avoid overly-structured clothing and choose that sort of design that is free flowing, but try to avoid the harsh look of belts. Belts bother most Pisces types so to get waist as is the fashion this season, go for those cuts that have a shape that shows a subtle waist or keep your layers short enough to imply a waist and stay away from any empire lines. If you stay away from last season’s empire lines you should feel current while happening this season in what’s “in.” Any design that pulls you in or has a belted waist bothers you greatly no matter how great it looks. Instead of the tight, patterned jeans that can so greatly disturb, try a patterned legging that looks smashing over layered sweaters or a blouse that fits loosely under a nice, light, wool sweater.

The new patterned leggings are great in my book and look so much better than the patterned jeans. You can find patterned tights in any colors but I like the black, gray and white variety the best and they are easy to work with. Tights with anything are very fairy-like and suit a Pisces dresser very well as do separates that are shaped in the new funky shapes that are roomy and different. Loose fitting pants with matching funky shaped short dresses are all the rage as are loose fitting pants with tunics that are shaped new as well. Keep it moving on your body and you should shine.

Shoes for Pisces dressers should not be high to the sky, come hither pumps with sharp toes or rounded toes for that matter! To keep a Pisces comfortable let them float about a bit and feel free. There are two kinds of shoes a Pisces-type dresser loves and one is a shoe with a bit of a heavy bottom to ground them where they are so they can float up top with freedom. This type of Pisces likes a bit of grounding so they feel safe while they dream, and these types of shoes are the heavy platform but on the flat side boots, booties and slip ons. This type of shoe firmly keeps the floaty fashion of the Pisces type on the ground and adds a sort of finish at the bottom of a fluttery look. I love this sort of heavy bottom to a look and think it fits many Pisces who like to feel safe and know they must stay grounded in reality some of the time. They can be police boots, biker boots, a hiking boot sort of style or a platform boot that is not too high but has a thick sole.

The other type of shoe for a Pisces-type dresser is a lightweight shoe that gives them the ability to completely float around and this type may be something each Pisces dresser has in their wardrobe. Boots that have leather bottoms and stretchy fabric tops that go to the knee look great with dresses and tights and even fit under pants. A platform bootie that is not too high but has a light instead of a heavy bottom is another choice. A kitten heel is great for the flowing, Pisces-type dresser as is a lightweight ballet style or a Mary Jane look. Keep the toes pointed on your kitten heels and keep them rounded on your ballet flats and Mary Janes. Remember that color in shoes is so important this season so go for your ocean colors like blue, green and coral to feel comfy. Try a shoe in all three of the ocean colors or with a heel in one color and body of shoe in another. Remember that you don’t have to perfectly match your shoes to your clothing so mix and match colors to let you create your own look. So long as you are wearing one color in your shoes you are home free and will look as if you thought about what you are wearing. If you are feeling especially adventurous this season try a new garden print shoe or a new, thicker-heeled shoe instead of the thin heels we have been seeing so much of. The thicker-heeled shoes have a sort of “munchkin-like” look to them or even the golden slipper if tried in a glam style!

Hair for Pisces types should give them a place to hide. It is a great thing that long, side-swept bangs are in style this season for it gives the Pisces type a place to sweep at least one eye behind when they want to take themselves out of the equation! I love the new long side-swept bang on shorter or longer haircuts! Colors are smashing this season and Pisces types like to have a creative color look in their hair. Coloring your hair for the first time could be fun if you go for highlights to give your hair light and texture, or low lights to bring out your sultry look. Some new colors are smashing on young and old. I love the new auburn colors and the new grey tint that works on you whether you are 20 or 60!

The cut your hair sports should fit your facial features so I recommend a Pisces type search out a professional that can advise you on what cuts may work. The new cutting techniques are very good and they are there for curly or straight hair. Find a hairstylist that takes classes to stay current on cutting trends for your consultation but make cure you make the final choice! Product can make the cut these days so watch how your hair is styled and learn what products look best. You want a hairstyle that stands up for a few days with just a touch of work, if any, so think about that when you choose a style. If you have small features like some Pisces dressers do, don’t wear your hair long no matter who is telling you they like it long! Shorter hair can look as seductive as long hair with wisps and the like and be easier to care for! If you have strong features, go ahead with the long hair. Some styles for long hair have lighter ends at the bottom to give you the look of both mid length and long hair while curls for longer hair are more subtle than the full head of curls of last season.

Color these days leaves your hair in good shape so don’t be afraid of color because of what you’ve heard in the past. Blond hair is blonder this season which may look great on the fairy-like, Pisces type depending on their skin color. I love the look of colored hair because one needs less makeup and it can make your skin sing! You can brighten up your natural color but if you are a Pisces dresser, you may want to do something magical to your hair so long as it is YOUR decision in the end as to what you do! You have a creative side that never quits so just let yourself take over when you see the choices and you can’t go wrong! If you must shop alone to get the very best look for you, go ahead and do so. If a strong-armed sales person is in your face, back them up by telling them you’d like to look for yourself and cruise the racks by yourself to see what feels right. At the very least go out to get a haircut or buy clothing with a strong idea of what you want and do not bend on your idea.
