Thursday the newly Virgo Sun sextiles Mars as Mars slips from Libra into Scorpio. The Scorpio Moon moves from mid-degrees to later degrees and conjuncts marriage asteroid Juno by day’s end. Communications are still highlighted with Leo Mercury sextile Gemini Jupiter, but with the Sun in the Mercury-ruled earth sign of Virgo this lends some grounding.

Mars moving from Libra to Scorpio is the big news of the day. Mars has been in the sign of making nice for quite a while now. It still retains its conjunction to Saturn. This keeps things from moving too quickly. The gloves come off but you’re probably not going to see any punches thrown today. Mars trines Neptune and action is likely to be low-key and mainly taking place in the laying of groundwork behind the scenes.

That Scorpio Moon highlights the atmosphere in such a way that you may sense that things are going on beneath the surface (which they are with Mars-Neptune). Juno is the “marriage asteroid” but Juno of myth was also a bit of a schemer. This is a great day to observe and continue working on your projects. It may be that you find some interesting ways around areas you thought to be impassible.
