Full Moon In Pisces: August 31, 2012 – Victim or Victimizer?
My eye on the sky.
The Full Moon in Pisces takes place at 8 degrees on the morning of the 31st in the US. The Moon will conjunct Chiron and Neptune, and enjoy a trine from Mars in Scorpio, but I still don’t have a good feeling about this.
Chiron represents a wound. Pisces is prone to feeling (Moon) victimized. Neptune clouds the issue. The Sun in Virgo stares at this conjunction from across the way and sees a pity party. The Pisces side then becomes critical of Virgo, who then becomes the victim as the two sides are caught in a hall of mirrors.
Should we feel sorry for the alcoholic / addicted person, or for their nurse?
I don’t know the answer to that.
To fare well under this Full Moon, transcend (Neptune) you wound (Chiron) and think in terms of compassionate (Pisces) service (Virgo).
Where does the full moon fall in your chart? What can you sacrifice in order to help the other?

It will be hitting my natal Chiron at 8 degrees Pisces. I’m looking to transcend, my Aries Sun would never allow me to be a victim.
6th. within orb of my descendant. (though sharing the house with my moon.) maybe i’ll have a baby. they seem to like full moons. and pisces runs in the family. (though my first was born on a waning new moon.)
we’ll see.
This is in my 7th, pretty close to my Asc/Dsc axis, and my Saturn as well. I’ve got service work cooking all over the place, I’ll make sure to immerse myself that day.
I guess I’d better get a good birthday present for my mother. She has her solar return the day before and this falls across her 1st/7th house axis.
Right on my pisces asc. Where chiron and neptune are transiting, btw. Victim???? I sure hope that having saturn in my 7th house since he got into virgo till a few days ago when he moved to my 8th house, has taught me to keep firm boundaries and never beeing victimized again! Hell, YES!!! test time
conjunct with my sun and mercury in my 9th house. Opp. my virgo moon. Take it from the Pisces Sun/Virgo Moon, if you feel sorry for either the addict or helper, it is because they are not helping themselves as they should. I feel that it is critical that we all help those who need our help. But I also feel that it is critical that everyone do what they can to help themselves. It is one thing to take of a helpless baby; it is another to baby and infantize your older child.
Take from an attorney, I have never known an addict who was saved from their addiction. In every case of recovery, the root of the recovery is the addict’s decision to become healthy. Likewise, you cannot save a woman from an abusive relationship if she does not have the courage to leave that relationship.
My natal moon is at 4 degrees so woo hoo won’t this be awesome! And Saturn conj my Venus! And the Sun exact conj my mars!
Hmm maybe a day to avoid conflict??
Venus conjunct venus for me and full moon in 2nd house conjunct chiron and neptune. 9th house mars action boy oh boy I’ll have to ponder that mix!
Sounds fun anyway
CArRIE, thanks for making me think of my Aries! Merc and Venus are there. I’m going to put some energy into using my merc (chart ruler) to not let my sun in pisces play the martyr!
This is going to be on my MC and IC. Oh joy! I am the critic of my own martyrdom!…lol
Full Moon is making positive aspects to my Sun/moon opposition. Mars in early scorp is making a grand water trine with the full moon and my natal sun. The full moon falls in my 2nd/8th house axis.
To answer the question, I don’t feel sorry for either (the addict or their nurse). The nurse has choosen to serve and hopefully gains in some way from their service. The addict, when ready (if ever) can use help from others, not pity.

Opposing Pluto in Virgo. Sextile Saturn in Cap. Square Mercury/Mars conjunction in Sag., and trine Neptune in Scorpio. I’m too tired to try to make sense of it right now. What a day.
On my natal Chiron 10´and Jupiter 12´ in my third house. Victim or Hero – well perhaps both.
and..opposite Pluto and Venus..
Venus will have recently crossed over into my 1st. Mars will be in my 4th or 5th depending on house system.
Sun will be conj my NN, Mars & Jupiter. Moon, Neptune & Chiron will be opp my NN, Mars & Jupiter.
In Placidus this is on my 3rd/9th axis. In Equal it will be 2nd/8th.
I dunno. Whatever it is, I will probably start some shit with them anyway, cuz I’m just a bitch like that.
Be sure to make a wish on it and the Blue Full Moon will shine for you and all the things you do.
The Blue Full Moon in Pisces late lunchtime (GMT) may plaice something fishy on your plate to contemplate !
Ha Ha Ha.
compering a fundraiser for wounded servicemen..celebrating the triumphs of dozens of women who have overcome some personal demons to reshape their bodies and brighten their minds, whilst raising cash for these soldiers to improve their chances of positive rehabilitation. Many have lost limbs ..interesting that Chiron is so close, also as Paralympics begin eh! That moon is exactly on my natal Sun, and I’m not really a compere, I was to be there in a support role, but the MC had to pull out..so I plan to transcend my own wound which is “I don’t feel easy in crowds” Chiron in 11th, by thinking ” this is for them, it’s not about me”. Thanks Elsa as ever for making us think about this
It will be in my empty 5th. So i guess neither for me…
Tomorrow is my birthday, the 30th, and Pisces is my rising. Don’t know what to expect, but I’m hoping it’s a ‘pleasant’ once in a blue moon. I sure could use some relief.
Thank you, Elsa. And thanks for the post. It just sounds like another day of me battling myself. “why are you being such a baby?” but “I feel so hurt.” I think I’ll just jump into my own sadgie moon mode and say to hell with all this seriousness.
falls on my MC IC axis.
This is going to be exact on my MC and IC.
..12th house and conjunct natal chiron
- help?!!
We are all victims of a systematic matrix of psychopatholigical design; most are ignorant of the mechanism and therefore in deep denial – hence it’s continuation and gathering of momentum.
Within this, however, are those who ‘cry wolf’ as being worthy of special consideration or treatment because they feel they’ve ‘suffered’ more than anyone else. On examination, however, they have not and they manipulate others who’ve had far more to contend with in a reverse power play of ‘underdog’ gold medalist contender.
I’ve had so many encounters with these covert bullies and yet those who have confided their torments are brave and honourable souls who don’t go around bitching and complaining, expecting others to concede to their neurotic demands.
It’s interesting, the example you gave, Elsa, about the one who hit the other with a pipe (first strike) to suffer just rewards in retribution. You go around hitting people with pipes, you just might die, which is a way of suicide. However, if the one brandishing the pipe did so in order to protect a child or animal(etc) from abuse, there’s a different scenario and he or she is the one who the law should honour.
Unfortunately, the legal system is run by abusers for abusers and is devoid of Law, Common Law or what is called God’s Law. Hence the mess we’re in.
This full moon should see parents alerted to child abuse and do all that they can to ensure the safety of their own and all children who are truly victims of adult irresponsibilities and perversions.
The London 2012 Paralympics exemplifies this meme of victimhood as all participating athletes are victims of abuse by those benefitting from the circus. Meanwhile the mass of humanity ‘just loves it’ and will be paying respect and honour to the gross indignity of it all.
Come 9-11 September 2012, the World will reap the rewards of such ignorance in the face of such darkness.
Hi Elsa,
I just got my transit report and love reading it! But,I don’t know how to tell where the current full moon is transiting my chart! Can you tell me how ti determine this with my chart?
More on being a newbie: Not sure if this helps, but if anyone would be willing to tell me how to do this I’d greatly appreciate it!
My natal moon is in my 1st house at “28 Leo 23″.
Thanks!

How does this full moon effect someone like myself with their natal moon in Pisces, 9th House with a grand trine water signs, Scorpio 5th, Cancer Asc.,1st and Cancerian Sun 12th…thanks Kat
In my 5th House
I am a Virgo moon and I have my moon in my 5th house
This is such a confusing energy to me as I’m trying to stay focused and on track with my life and with work. Your advice on service with compassion was definitely needed to get my head in the right space and handle this the right way.
Thank you.
Can’t forget to have fun though!
It conjuncts Jupiter and Mars in my first house. Everything is going on under the surface! i guess have to wait and see..
yep practicing my melodrama for the critcs, with the full moon conj natal chiron and sun conjunct natal pluto, should be an academy award for sure!!!!!!!!!!!
At my 12th house.. dont know what shall I expect.. I know I’m getting signs, like images, or maybe I’m getting crazy :/
