Uranus Pluto events hits a person like whiplash in many cases. We’ve certainly had our share of that around here. But some of this stuff can be anticipated.
For example, we could not know that my son and his friend were going to be hit by a car on their bikes. But we could see the potential for my husband losing his job, and imagine how this would change (Uranus) in the structure (Capricorn) of our lives.
Things that are entirely outside your control aside, I see a lot of people getting hit hard with this transit due to a miscalculation on some level. Lack of humility or inflation is the root cause in most cases. A person overvalues their worth, or they think something can’t or won’t happen to them and then it does. It’s like thinking a big flood is going to come and everyone will be swept away but you.
In reality, no one gets immunity from a transit like this. We’ve seen enough of it, most should be able to relate to what I am saying.
I recommend checking your math. It’s a lot easier to absorb an impact when you’ve anticipated the potential of being hit.

This stuff scares me… especially when I know so little about figuring out the meaning of transits in my chart! Hell, I know that Pluto in Cap is right on my Midheaven, and Uranus is right on my Ascendent (aaand Saturn is still on my Libra in 7th) Gee, I anticipate some sudden blow, dunno. I’m really careful these days, especially on the street. Can this transit be manifested internally, like some inward, sudden transformation, or its effects are always manifested externally, like some blow on personality?

I continue to be surprised that I didn’t lose my job! Changes have happened at work, but at least it hasn’t gone that badly yet. So far.
On the other hand, a friend of mine has been in a crappy job for something like 8 years and it’s seemed pretty clear that they don’t like her there and she’s made comments over the years along the lines of “I think they’ll get rid of me in a few years.” Well, it looks like they’ve started the process to do it now (she expects to be fired come the fall) and suddenly she’s soooo shocked and “I don’t know what to do!”
On the other hand, she’s been jobhunting for a long time now and says she’ll work crap jobs again if she has to…so I think she knows what to do if it happens better than I would if it happened to me. (But I have extenuating circumstances that would severely limit my ability to get another job and she doesn’t.)
I get to look forward to this configuration along with Jupiter in opposition hitting my natal sun at 12 Capricorn in April 2014. I know I’m being prepared for something at this point, but how it plays out I will have to wait and see. Expect the unexpected as they say.
I see the second one isn’t here quite yet.
I could not anticipate my emergency appendicitis, which I’m still not fully recovered from. My massage therapist said it was probably “angry” for a while, and can explain the supposedly unrelated muscle spasms I’ve been having.
And my brother just got diagnosed with throat cancer 
If there was ever a time to “grow up” – it is now.

Sorry to hear of the sadness and troubles going on . My husband’s work is experiencing incredible downsizing due to factors e “Outside our control.” My own life has been upside down for a year as we’ve moved, released a LOT of old “stuff..” and are getting used to a new way of life. A Saturn return has taught me many lessons, now my husband is in for his.. I am an optimisit, but yes, these cycles surely take a lot of stamina, courage and Faith! ((( to all ))))
Glad to hear that the kids were not hurt. Bikes can be replaced but the kids can’t so better to loose a bike or two than a life.
I remember the other month you said one of them got the plate number of the woman who did it? And you reported it to the police and they asked if you wanted to file charges or if they should just go over to her house and scare the shit out of her?
I think you’ve said in the past that you won’t go to court over things because it has not worked in your favor and you wouldn’t want to incur the legal fees, even if you’re right.
But I think that stupid bitch should buy them new bikes. Shiny new ones.
The cops got her, she is at fault and she got two tickets. I am in contact with her insurance.. 
Yes, I am anticipating something – Uranus being out of one’s control: tr Pluto is cj my Mars cj NN which exactly opposes my SO’s Venus cj Uranus. I can see he will be sideswiped but for him it’s all over in a year and a half or so; for me, with Saturn cj Venus in Scorps, the fun is going to last a bit longer. The energy may be neutral, as P often reminds us, but how it will ‘manifest’ may come as a surprise for which we may not be prepared – like her son and his friend experienced.
Pluto is in my 2nd house with my Natal Venus in Capricorn and Uranus is transiting my 4th house while Saturn in in my 11th. I know something is going to happen…but I sure can’t figure it out. Something with my finances for sure…and maybe worse. But just have to wait and see. I can see the changes slowly coming but don’t know where they will stop.

Good that your kids are all right Elsa! Right now I am dealing with a powerful man that is trying to take advantage of me in business. But he doesn´t know that this little kitten is really a jaguar..
Sorry there’s a lot of drama going on at the moment. I am now on alert… uranus is conjunct my natal mercury in the second with pluto in the 9th, fortunately I don’t think it’s quite activating natal pluto at 20 libra just yet.
Since I started my new job 5 months ago, there have been changes left, right and centre. Two weeks ago, the departmental manager left and this week my immediate boss has announced that she is leaving as well in three weeks time.
It’s an opportunity for me to step up and change the way things are done, but there is widespread unsettlement and resentment directed towards those who are leaving from others in the dept.
My fire alarm batteries are emitting distress signals – but I can’t open the casing to replace them! Better get the estate handyman round to take a look as I can’t afford contents insurance.
I’d be wiped out if I had a fire…
I’m so used to having my world shaken up now (at work) that I’m learnignt og o along with the rumbling and the shaking. Rule changes every five minutes practically. What can you do?
Oh, and as for thinking things can’t or won’t happen to you? I’ve had coworkers tell me “You’ve been here for 12 years. They’re not going to fire you.” They say this to comfort me cause I tend to get paranoid about losing my job. You know what? NO ONE is immune from being fired or laid off. I don’t care how many years you work somewhere. There are times when I can feel myself becoming a dinosaur at my workplace and that’s what worries me–that I am becoming obsolete–and I’m only in my thirties!! I’m one of the youngest there!
I’m not sure what kind of unexpected event I can expect but coincidentally have been keeping my ego on a choke chain lately. Sharing with family how and when I’ve made mistakes here and there and trying to keep a fire under my ass so I don’t ‘act a fool!’

Elsa about 4 years ago you told me I had 5-6 years of dark times ahead. You are correct, however I still have access to light, and for that I am grateful.
This Uranus/Pluto square on my Capricorn Moon has been tough. Understatement. I have calculated my risks well. I’m grateful for that, too. Here’s to rolling with the punches as some days they seem never-ending.

This will be making a grand cross in my chart. This is the second one. Jupiter in Gemini is turning my natal tsq into a grand cross too.
The only thing that is getting me through everything is practising Saturn in Libra and having faith there is a reason for everything that is happening.
I hope I come through the other side with my grace and values intact. Anything is possible at this point.
