Mercury Square Natal Mars Transit: OUCH!
I am the reason for ridiculous warning labels
Mercury rules hands and touching (senses). Mars is action (the act of touch). Retrograde Mercury is squaring my natal Mars which quincunxes Saturn (comeupance) in Aries (Mars-ruled, in fire). Last night I burned my hand on my flat-iron but I didn’t notice it till later. Transiting Neptune is involved, obscuring the effect.
That burn is on my left hand. Just now I was concerned about the element in my clothes dryer as the load of towels had not sufficiently dried. So I reached in to feel if there was heat coming from the little vent in the back. That one I felt immediately: OUCH! That one is on my right hand. It also happens to be my middle finger. It may hurt a lot, but I’m really looking forward to showing people when they ask which finger it is. I guess that’s my silver lining.
I have Mars in Scorpio trining Mercury in Pisces in my natal chart and Mars in the 3rd house (Mercury’s house). I find my hands tend to heal quickly. So there’s that.

Mars trine Mercury as well, in Cancer/Scorpio. I do everything fast talking and thinking included. I have be blamed for having an aggressive approach but my Libra Sun polishes that out these days. My hands have suffered a few bruises too. The fresh ones are from the iron. Other than that they’re agile and always on the move making gestures and proving points and so on.
Natal Mars conjunct Mercury here. I currently have stain on my right hand which embarrasses my Moon.
Recently I almost cut the end of my finger off. It was deep enough to do some damage to the nerve so that the end of the finger feels slightly numb.
Mars 4* Virgo 3rd Placidus, 2nd Equal. Conj NN 3* & Jupiter 9*. Trine Venus 2* Cap.
I don’t know what anything has to do with anything at the moment but last week I burnt my stomach on the edge of a frying pan. Lesson, don’t cook naked, or at least wear a shirt/apron.
Yesterday I got a little sunburned on my shoulders and chest region when I went to the river. Apparently it got over 100* here, which the news said hasn’t happened in 3 years. It doesn’t really hurt, I’ve had worse.
We’ll see how the next couple days go.
Yesterday morning (the 5th) my blood sugar crashed–HARD–and I nearly collapsed at church. Kept praying and trying to tough it out til I couldn’t do that anymore. Thankfully, people rushed to help me out.
Mars in Cancer (7th house) sextile Mercury in Virgo (9th house) in my chart. Mercury forms a loose square to Neptune in Sag (12th house).
Currently, Mercury is conjuncting my progressed Mars in the 7th house.
