Thursday the Moon in Scorpio starts out in square to the Sun Mercury conjunction but is otherwise well aspected. In fact, while there’s no specific term for the overall configuration this creates, it does bring an element of flow to the overall energy of the day. The Aries, Gemini, Leo sextiles attach to the Moon-Pluto sextile like a roof to a foundation by way of a square on each side. A cosmic yurt?

The Moon in Scorpio isn’t the most straightforward Moon, particularly with its ruler under stress in the long term square with Uranus and the waning t-square with Mars. However, the Moon creates the opportunity to bring your mood into tune with the multitudinous energies present. It’s not the best week? There’s still satisfaction to be gained if you look deeper.

Much of the day, Jupiter focuses extra energy at both the Moon and its ruler, turning up the light on dark places, but in a way that is tempered with philosophical good will. Late Thursday the Moon moves out of aspect with the rest of the planets. You could say it loses its support, but that might be too harsh a perspective. I would say more likely it becomes a time of deep emotional introspection in order to process the earlier flow.
