Friday evening the Leo Moon sextiles Venus. Desires are enflamed and it’s entirely possible to get what you want, provided, of course, that what you want is available. If not, find something else to want as this is a beautifully dramatic influence. I find cheeseburgers and ice cream to be fantastic stand-ins for whatever is just out of my reach as they’re rarely further away than a ten minute drive. But then all my pants have at least 1% lycra, so your mileage may vary. I hear some people enjoy healthy things like kale and hiking… whatever floats your boat.

Friday night’s Moon sets off the Lilith Juno opposition, squaring both. This pits the committed wife against the wild woman who does her own thing. Some will see this personified outside themselves with real people standing in as actors. Others will feel this internally, identifying with one side or the other or possibly going from one TO the other. Either way, the Leo Moon squares them both and the best way to satisfy is to find a healthy balance between the two. Cheeseburger regret, however artery clogging it may be, can sometimes be a less-complicated alternative.

Retrograde Mercury heads back toward its trine with Uranus, creating an atmosphere that fosters shocking communications. Or perhaps you revisit some areas you’ve previously covered and innovate. In any case there’s the chance to readdress something that’s not quite finished yet.

Saturday night the Moon in earthy Virgo is more level-headed and discerning. However, it trines Pluto, playing into the cardinal grand cross with Mars and Uranus, what I have previously referred to as the jackhammering sex-toy aspect we’ve been encountering lately. The Moon’s ruler, Mercury, feeds into this as well, sextiling Mars. By late Saturday night the Moon hits their midpoint. Think before you act. Or, to get what you want, use your mind and follow through with your actions.

Saturday night the Moon opposes Neptune and it’s easy to forget yourself. It’s easy to delude yourself or allow yourself to be taken in. Capitalize on that Mars Mercury influence and walk your talk. Remember who you are and what you really want in the long run!

Hoo-boy, I need a cheeseburger just thinking about it. Be careful out there!
