Mercury Retrograde: July 14, 2012 – Courageous, Creative Innovative Thinking

Transit Watch.

If there were ever a Mercury retrograde period to look forward to, this is it as Mercury will be very well aspected throughout most of the retrograde period

Retrograde Mercury in Leo will be particularly helped by Mars in Libra and Uranus in Aries which is great news for Mercury-ruled Geminis and Virgos who have been battered for 8th months by Mars prolonged transit through Virgo. Minds (Mercury) will be innovative (Uranus) and creative (Leo). People will think (Mercury) courageously (Mars). Ideas will be fresh, with Gemini and Virgo leading the way.

All the regular cautions apply. Don’t sign papers if possible, etc.  Do go back and touch up any written work, chat with your neighbors (Mercury) or their children (Leo).  Experiment (Uranus) creatively (Leo), especially in the realm of writing and communication. Mars is involved here so those who exert themselves will make the most of the period.

The first two weeks of the retrograde period are best.  Jupiter and Venus are also in Mercury-ruled Gemini so all the thinkers out there – rejoice!

Merc is my chart ruler. It will go rx in my 3rd and dip back into my 2nd to station in a perfect trine to my natal merc at 1 Aries. It will sextile my natal Pluto at 1 libra and my ASC at 4 Gemini and my moon at 29 scorp.

Venus and Jupiter will be in my 1st :)

My tsquare and my grandtrine will both be activated :)

They were activated back in march too but then mars was busy messing with my Pisces sun. I’m hoping I’ll be able to break out of some of the muddy muck that earth and water made last time :)

Tr rx mercury will conjunct my 5th house natal jupiter, tr Jupiter will conjunct my natal 2nd/3rd houses venus

My lease is up on the 30th, which means I’ll be signing a new one during Merc Rx :P Its unavoidable, so I guess I’ll just hope for the best.

I have to take a 2 day course the 14th & 15th for continued employment to prepare for a state license exam. At least the exam will be held at a later date after the mercury retrograde. Good to know this retrograde will be good for “thinkers’.

In natal chart…Sun, Rising, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto all in Virgo! All in 12th house except Pluto. Whenever Mercury goes retro I really feel it! So happy to read this blog about things getting better for Virgos. My question is about this current Mercury retro. Currently I have Mercury in Leo, 12 degrees, in what looks like the 11th house, but close to 12th. What does this mean for me?

Hi Elsa, My friend Denise has sent me your posts and I just signed up for your newsletter. Whew is all I can say. I always feel mercury retrogrades.
Sun – virgo Rising – Scorpio Moon = Sag

I got married April 29th to an Acq (1/23) :) , left for Hawaii to study for a month with a healer and vacation and honeymoon. Day before we left the building I was renting for my yoga center/business was sold. returned home, had 1 week to sign a new lease which was more than $2500. higher and no longer affordable, had 1 1/2 days to move my business out. And its been like that HUGE CHANGES one after another….. fairing ok thru it with an optimistic view, actually making more money not having a huge rent and renting a space hourly to teach yoga, moved my massage practice to my home. I went from crazy busy to have so much free time. Kind of enjoying the free time and being home more.
I GUESS I AM ASKING WHEW… how long is this upheaval going to last? I am looking forward to mercury going direct. :) I need to move forward into a new way of doing things, perhaps find a new space for my business, or rent hourly, currently using my own house some and renting a church space for 1 class…. don’t want to make commitments while mercury retrograde….life and business. Head is in the usual retrograde fog so laying low. Yet, waiting to move forward with my business doesn’t feel right either. Yet I want to make good choices regarding spaces for yoga, the rents, leases and commitments.
Any Suggestions???
