Transit Watch: Full Moon In Capricorn – July 3, 2012 – Violent Eruption / Healing Surprise
My eye on the sky.
The potency of this Full Moon cannot be denied. The Moon will conjunct Pluto in Capricorn as it squares Uranus in Aries, and opposes the Sun in Cancer. With the Full Moon at 12 degrees and Uranus and Pluto squared off at 8 degrees, anyone with personal planets in Libra around 6-14 degrees is really going catch some flack here. This is for good or ill, as energy is neutral until directed. I have planets in Libra at those degrees and I’m looking forward to this.
Generally speaking, Uranus is involved so it’s virtually impossible to predict how the energy of the Full Moon will manifest but I can give you some ideas.
- Family (Cancer /Moon) pathology (Pluto) may erupt unexpectedly (Uranus).
- Your mother (Moon) may shock you (Uranus) by healing herself, or otherwise unleashing her coiled-up-serpent power.
- War is a possibility, as is violent upheaval home or the emotional front.
- You may be liberated Uranus) from pathology (Pluto) that has blocked (Capricorn) you.
- Families may break apart under the stress, but they may also come back together for the same reason.
- Accidents waiting to happen, probably will
- Decay of all kinds is accelerated but so is healing.
- More detaching from the Mother Ship, whoever, or whatever may be filling that role for you.
Check the houses where the Full Moon falls in your chart for more insight. In my case, the Sun and Moon fall ‘cross my 6th/12th axis so this will be about service. It aspects my planets in Libra (one on one / partnership), so it’s a good bet, I’ll be consulting.

Sun will be tr. 5th. Moon/Pluto in 11th. All squaring my Mars in Libra 8 and my Chiron in Aries 2.
11/5/2/8..yeah, I don’t know exactly what is going to happen but I feel the powerfulness of it and know what flavor it is.
Hmm.
My mom has been talking to me through my housemate. I also sent a message to my step-dad for father’s day, and got one back. We had a blow-out on Mother’s Day…
And I have that Libra stellium.
F it. I am ready for change, and plan to direct the energy towards my goals. Roll with the tides. Etc.
It would be lovely to get unpacked, and patch up the family.
Sun in my 2nd, Moon/Pluto in my 8th, Uranus in my 11th. natal venus at 8 Aries, natal Pluto 12 Libra.
bring it on….and at least try to be gentle….I’ll even say pleeease!

Would an aspect to natal pluto count? I know its not a personal planet as such but still.
I got Pluto in Libra at 16’35″ natal and the new moon in my 1st house. It been both lately, upheavel and looking for stability with growth.
Heh, 8th house, fills in a grand cross for me. Whew. I can cross my fingers that my mom finally blows at her family. (not me, I’m the one with boundaries but the rest of them eat her alive). Here is to a positive hope.

It will fall on my empty 5th house. And i also have my 2nd house Pluto @ 11º LIBRA, Sun 11º Cancer… it will be a Grand square by aspect for me.
2nd house Pluto rules my 3rd,
6th house Moon rules my 11th,
3rd house Uranus rules my 6th…

Me too! I’m a Virgo and these are my exact Libra placements and degrees – maybe we were born on the same day in the same latitude?
Anyways, my Libra planets are on the 10th house cusp opposing my Chiron in Aries. Not sure what to expect. I’m certainly pondering important issues right now.
This is across my Asc/Dsc axis and directly hits my Libra stellium, which runs from 8-14. 
No clue what to expect, honestly. I’m so under the gun right now I can’t get a handle on the next few days, let alone the next few weeks. I have to say, though, that I do kinda feel like the sky is falling; if that’s current “weather” or pre-event jitters I can’t tell.
I’m expecting to feel emotionally jangled as – I often do when a full moon hits my personal planets
This one falls between my Cap planets, but closest to my Venus/Vesta at 17˚ I also have Sun at 22 and Merc/Ceres at 4˚
I’ll get a nice trine Moon/Moon, but it will also set off all my T-squares with my Cancer and Libra planets, in which T-Saturn is also involved. Too much, maaaan!
All those possibilities may happen to someone in my life, someone who isn’t very stable right now, and whose life seems to be crashing down around them.
Uranus and Pluto are starting to move within orb of their Moon @ 14 Libra (they just finished hammering their Mercury @ 2 Cancer).
The Full Moon lights up their natal Moon-Uranus (13 Cap)-Neptune (15 Cap) square.
They just suffered a big loss due to behavior that others allowed them to get away with. They already suffered the loss of a parent due to abandonment; this is surely triggering the memory of that early loss.
I predict enlightenment or a meltdown. Hope for this person’s sake that it’s the former.
Full Moon close to my Cap Venus (15 degr) and opposite my Cancer Saturn (16 degr), so maybe there is some enlightenment about this opposition. Maybe a wrong date ends up in a job (Saturn 6th house), or a job application ends up in love! I am not too worried, Full Moon sextile to my natal Jupiter at 12 degr Pisces. Although… it could make things BIG… 
So, the same 12th-6th house axis as you Elsa. Didn’t you also have Aquarius Ascendant?!
Talking about service… I completely forgot that transit Pluto is square my natal Pluto at 9 degr Libra (in the 8th house!) can you make anything of that?
Wasn,t there a solar eclipse at this degree within the last 1 1/2 years? So this is the Full Moon to it….My midheaven at 14 Cancer/nadir 14Cap…
Interestingly, I moved in with my 82 year old father whos birthday is 3 July. Been working on letting go of the past behaviour patterns between us…or recognizing the same traits…unhealthy boundaries.
The Full Moon is in my 6th/12th axis as well, squaring my MC at 14 Aries and my Venus at 8 Libra. Doesn’t sound great for my job.
Sun/Moon opp lands in my 12th/6th houses in Placidus and Equal. I suppose the orb is too far to really impact my Cap *2 Venus

I will have been back in school for roughly 1 week after a 10 year absence.
Since the May solar eclipse, I’ve had some corpsely interactions with the estranged friend. Nothing scary, as it turns out. I’ve received a few phone calls from Anonymous and they don’t leave a message. I would chalk it up to a telemarketer, but 5/22 I got 2 calls in the evening after I saw him somewhere during the day. I also got a call from an old friend/bf that evening who’s number comes up and he always leaves me drunken messages that he misses me.
Last Wednesday I got 3 calls from Anon who did not leave a message. So I called Anon from a payphone. Anon did not answer, and I didn’t leave a message. Cuz that’s the way we don’t communicate.
I think Anon is being hit hard with Uranus transiting over his Venus 8* Aries and opp his Pluto 12* Libra. And T Pluto is square his Venus etc. He’s got Moon in Cancer as well.
The full moon hits his 3rd/9th houses in Placidus and Equal. His moon is in Cancer conj his IC, but changes from 4th to 3rd house depending on system.
The full moon will be conjunct my moon/midheaven. I am trying to return to work after years of ill health, and I feel ready. Hope that it means an actual job for me, or a way forward in terms of career!

Ugh… I’m 41 and just moved back with my parents after being attacked by a housemate. It was an urgent, stressed move, and while I’m grateful for a place to stay, she drives me MAD with her incessant nagging. I can feel things coming to a boil and I’ve already had my fill as it is.
The sun will be at my 4th and the moon at my 10th. My only issues in my life by these days are the fact that my ex-hubbie left me and our family was desintegrated and the fact that I lose my job a month ago (tr pluto at 10th).
Uranus will be exact sextiling my natal venus and trining my natal jupiter. And is forming a quincunx with my natal saturn at 6th house.
There’s a possibility I’m sick at my urinary system.. will have to watch that..

Just came across this article (today is June 30, 2012) after returning from bloodtest. I pray that this full moon will result in: “suddenly & unexpectedly” (Uranus)showing what was making me physically ill (Pluto, pathologies)thereby keeping me from my career (10th house)….resulting in NOW be easily treated,so that, finally: LIBERATION (Uranus)from illness = be able to return to my career (10th house/capricorn full moon).
Or is it just wishful thinking? haha

Sheesh woman — I can’t keep up with you. My brain’s about to explode trying to absorb and not miss a word you post! lol No easy feat for this real early Pisces/11th, Gemini rising with Jupiter resident, early moon in Libra/5th astrology lover. I may never leave my computer again.
I adore your way with words Elsa, and your absolutely out-there honesty. The family pathology and liberation from, the mother and shocking behaviour, the emotional or home upheaval and families breaking apart areas you mentioned were bang-on in my case but rather than initiating things (as I have wanted to these past four years, imagining that this would finally clear the air, aka my resentment at having been lied to and betrayed by our mother, from birth, as have my siblings & a few other close family members) but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it, knowing how this would completely alter everything my closest loved ones have believed in and come to rely on their entire lives. My mother does not know that I found out several years ago a few things that she would definitely hope never sees the day of light. I am such a stickler for truth, no matter what, so this has really been trying for me but when you wrote “More detaching from the Mother Ship,” my sense of humour (Cdn. too, eh, ergo the add’l “u” here & there) quickly restored my gentler part (no idea what’s going to happen when Mars conjuncts my Libra moon shortly, though, lol, just kidding!) and had me wishing an alien would abduct me, sort of, NOT. Anyway, this is the aspect of astrology that has helped me most remain sane — it allows me to know myself better as well as better understand why I am feeling the way I am. It’s a beautiful thing.
This full moon will hit my 8th H., smack dab on my Part of Fortune. Making plans now to move back to the big city, finally (by early Oct.), and become independent once again and to drop all relationships that have not been genuine. — And what’s with so many people I know suddenly having their debilitating back problems (or sciatica, like I do) return or intensify? Accelerated decay in action, like you also mentioned? Here’s hoping the healing aspect potential kicks in stronger for all of us. Amen.

yeah. Sciatica issues here too. No pain, more of the dead leg, variety. Lol. I’m hoping for some self help miracle. Lol. Keep trying to give myself an adjustment. Lol. No luck. This full moon is trine my 6th house sun/venus. I’m also debating employment issues.
I wish I felt no sciatica pain, Morgan, so lucky you to be pain free. Went to the chiro three times in one week and was floored that my pain became even more unbearable. Can sympathize with your dead leg, though, as I can no longer feel my right foot, which is a very strange feeling like it’s no longer part of me. Was debating cutting my adult son’s no longer used skateboard in half and duct-taping it to my foot. We could start a new craze.

This falls exactly on the cusp of my 3H where Pluto is teetering. So it’s on my 3H/9H axis. Ideology shifts anyone??
We have been discussing our children’s education ad nauseum (decided to home school the Taurus–Gemini asked to go to school for kindergarten, and we thought that made sense for now). But then I’m also trying to figure out if I should continue my own education (I’m thinking an MA in Adult ESL). I am also dealing with massive identity crises as I face the prospect of living an “invisible” life at home for even more years. Challenging my ideology about myself.
I hope this bodes for the destruction of mental obstacles that keep me from living my life fully and keep me from feeling good about my value as a person. It’s been coming to a head lately. Maybe this moon’ll be the crash through my hang ups I’ve been waiting for.

Full moon will be in 4th house. Uranus conjunct natal moon, The family I have right now is myself. Moon represents – home, mother, sense of belonging and a need for comfort. I’m going through a period of emotional change so that will ultimately make me more emotionally independent and self-reliant.
That means I can’t go home anymore to the need for comfort. I have to allow this transit to free me and whatever surprises come my way with a sense of belonging I have to remember – My freedom from emotional dependence will be LIBERATED.
I will be able to be around others but not to the point where I’m emotionally dependent on them to make me happy. Meaning I will take whatever shit just to be in the company of. I’m healing my pathology of Fear of loneliness. Thanks Pluto and Uranus, you did shock my ASS this time. I’m listening!!!
If anyone out there understands this or is going through the same period of emotional change please do post some of your words of wisdom. That would encourage me further.
Full moon in 7th house. I will be moving further away from my Mothership geographically. Further away from her controlling, nagging, overprotective ways. I love her still, but …

There’s a possibility I’ve found a job today in my last company, but related to health care.. Lets wait and see if I get my jupiter/venus kiss..

If I get that job I will be liberated (Uranus) from unemployed (pluto at 10th house) that blocked me (in Capricorn).

Would love help interpreting this full moon’s impact: it’s in my second house conjunct my natal jupiter and saturn while also opposing my natal mars in the eight house; and of course, it’s square transiting uranus, which is in my fourth house, while transiting pluto is conjunct my natal jupiter in my second house as it conjuncts this full moon in capricorn. It’s just to much going on for me to understand.
Anyone have a sentence or two of insights. Thanks!

Hi All… Just wanted to update that ‘nothing’ (yet?) has occurred re: the above post, quoting my analysis based on Elsa’s idea (“•You may be liberated Uranus) from pathology (Pluto) that has blocked (Capricorn) you.”).
I say ‘yet’ b/c I’ve not actually recvd any paperwork – was a short work week here in Canada, so mail system perhaps slower. Unless, my analysis re: Elsa’s idea isn’t quite accurate for my chart. I do wonder if the aspects can hold for longer *perhaps a month to the day of the aspect*. We’ll see.

Can anyone confirm if this type of aspect can be effective not just ON the day of, but, perhaps, (INSTEAD) = 1 month TO the day of? I’ve read this somewhere, but can’t recall if it applied to full moons or some other event. Elsa? Anyone? Thanks.
LD, everything is connected so I could see someone making an argument for something like this, but I would not think about the effect of a full moon taking place 30 days before or after. Whatever happens 30 days off from a full moon, well, I’d be looking for another cause or explanation for insight.

5th House, on top of my Mercury. If I have a sudden creative purge of emotions, I can handle this, and probably need it. I have Mercury sq. Pluto natally (though my Pluto is out of reach of tr. Pluto), so I’m used to this part of the energy.
