Maximizing Potential And Profit As Saturn Wraps Up In Libra

May 1st, 2012 @ 5:30 am by Elsa

Tips from the goat.

Saturn turns direct in June and enters Scorpio the first week of October. People get antsy when Saturn is about to change signs. They want to hurry the process because they’ve had it with whatever lessons they’ve been pressured to learn.

This is understandable, but it’s a lot smarter to use all the time allotted to glean everything you can. You’ll to be on to the next thing soon enough and you really don’t know that the most important insight hits you at the tail end of the transit. In fact, this is likely, because you’ve got 2.5 years of learning in and wisdom, if it is coming, is more likely to hit you now then it is on the first day of the transit.

To facilitate this, take the time to go over what you’ve learned about partnering, money, fairness, balance and social grace.  Try to lock in these lessons, because another thing people don’t realize is that like every other kind of schooling, the lessons build on each other. This means if you fail at one level, it hinders you at the next.

Also, go over the decisions (Libra) you’ve made. Make sure you’re happy with them because you’re likely to live with the consequences for some time. If you have treated someone unfairly, or if you owe someone money, or an apology, I would put this right if you can.   I can tell you firsthand that stubbornness, and digging in your heels  as opposed to working out a compromise when it’s appropriate can and will cost you a mighty penny over time.

Last, try to come up with some rules for relating to others, that reflect what you’ve learned over the last 2.5 years.  If you take to time to do this, I think you’ll be amazed at how far it takes you and for how long.

What’s on your mind as Saturn winds up in Libra?

I’m interested to see if Saturn’s third pass to my Aries planets/natal Uranus feels different. I’m more patient with others than I used to be. I think this transit was excellent for me.

What’s on my mind? Exactly what you said, I so needed to read this right now! I’m so cardinal that many times I do just jump right ahead and I really do need to use this last bit of time of saturn in libra to set things straight, or set my course straight. Thanks for the ‘re-focus’, Elsa :)

Here’s what’s on my mind. I need to will myself to be brave enough to go over my mistakes and successes in partnering, money, fairness, balance and social grace.

I am feeling like the energy of this coming full moon will be helpful in uncovering what I have yet to figure out so far.

@ Caroline I am totally still screwing up too. At least we are screwing up with our eyes open. No?

I have been thinking about this in terms of quizzes (the Saturn in Libra that has already gone by). If you review all the quizzes and see what you think you did wrong. Then you can totally ace the final. I’m 5 years out of school so this thinking works for me.

I feel in my gut Elsa how important this is and I know I say this everyday but that you so much for continuing to harp on this from every angle.

Great points to consider.
It’s been over a year now that I have been trying to come to a decision concerning a relationship. But I haven’t been able to do that! Whenever I made the ‘pro’ choice, I bounced back to the indecision in the matter of days, whenever I committed to the ‘con’ decision, it was too painful to bear. And there’s a legal issue still unresolved, that prevents me from reaping the consequences of either of my possible choices.
It is wicked. And it feels both like fate AND my own responsibility. I suspect it has been Saturn’s doing. I am panicking. And I’m so tired of this love. It’s big, and difficult, and I’m not sure what I’ve learnt here, because it’s clear to me that I am not going to be happy with any of the decisions I force myself to make this year. Nice!

My saturn return is right now in Libra and I am so going to kiss June on the lips and also October too. Your article about making things right with the lessons learned in the past 2.5 years is zoo right on Elsa. I am going to deeply contemplate your article. Thanks :) Melisa

Excellent post.

Out of these (partnering, money, fairness, balance and social grace), I’m doing well in the partnering and social grace department. I’ve decided to put positive energy into my marriage (rather than let it stagnate) and it’s paying off. It’s hard to get your flowers to bloom if you’re garden is fallow.

In the last month I’ve been trying to get more balance in my life with respect to work, social commitments, exercise, food, etc.

I’m in the middle of a temporary financial crisis but it’s temporary and I’m formulating a plan to not let it happen again. I will need until October to get this cemented. I’ve had some hard but good lessons in this department and in fairness. I’ve seen too many people get dealt an unfair hand.

Great post Elsa. Right on the button. I’m actively working on these every day, with awareness. So bring on October, I feel ready.

@MalleTelle – I understand this alternating feeling (on/off) you’ve had, I felt that way earlier in the transit. Maybe that’s the vibe; on/off, indecisive, until you become fully decisive perhaps as the transit end….(?)

@ MalleTelle I was in the same situation re critical indecision (Moon in Libra) I decided today the only real reason I wasn’t making the con choice was pure un-adulterated fear. That’s not a good enough reason to stay. We can’t work towards a goal together… we fail the test. So, I’m feeling the pain and I’m doing it but I’m about to be sooo free. I’m trying to do it in a fair way though…Not quite finished with my Saturn in Libra homework. The indecision in my case is a life long habit. I’m trying to bring in certainly and celebrate the “firm decision” (Saturn in Libra?) Good luck to you!
