This weekend has the kind of sky makes for a rather interesting story… interesting, as in “may you lead an interesting life,” or “may the fleas of a thousand camels nest in your armpits.” It’s going to be more interesting if you’re the leading character. If you keep your eyes on the prize and your wits about you without succumbing to the emotion or the drive, you’ll probably do just fine.

One thing this weekend has going for it is the conjunction of the Sun and Mercury in cool-headed Aquarius. However, they’re split between expansion and contraction via the Jupiter Saturn opposition. It is a good reminder though to walk that middle path. Don’t get too riled up but you don’t need to get too far down either. Split the difference be philosophical, have integrity. Don’t step in the middle of something that’s none of your business, for one thing. DON’T DO IT TONY! DON’T GO TO THE RUMBLE AND TRY TO STOP THE FIGHT! Ahem. sorry.

Early in the day, Friday, the Moon in Pisces (where Venus is hanging out with Vesta, devoted lurve) opposes Mars in Virgo, newly retrograde. That’s some serious, sparky attraction right there, all Jets/Sharks, Capulet and Montegue-y. Then as the day progresses the Moon slips into Aries and a conjunction with Uranus, an abrupt change to the feeling state, a jolt. And it only gets better: It moves into a square with Pluto. So you’ve got a tendency toward obsessive feelings while Mars is all het up but not exactly on its game. Hoo boy.

Saturday night the Moon in Aries is on its own, making no major aspects. Rogue Moon! By Sunday it hits the midpoint of Saturn and Mars, which isn’t likely to feel all that great, but much better, I’m sure, if you’ve kept your actions above board and “clean.”

Some people have a lousy time when everything’s just fine, and some people have a great day when the sky is falling, so take all this with a grain of salt. Take it for what it is, a head’s up.
