Transit Watch: Venus in Pisces Opposite Mars In Virgo – February 1, 2012 – Pick A Side…If You Can
My eye on the sky.
I am not looking forward to this at all! Venus in Pisces is opposing Mars in Virgo. The aspect is exact on February 1st but it is already in affect and getting stronger each day. This is because Venus is direct while Mars is retrograde so the two bodies marching towards each other and it’s not a showdown I want to see!
I will see it though and so will you. You’ll see tactical (and possibly angry) minds (Mars in Virgo) spar with ethereal (and possibly vain) types (Venus in Pisces). Very few will be happy nor will they be able to (easily) pick a side.
Men and women square off. It’s logic vs magic. It’s a potential war over religion / spirituality. There will be confusion around who is right and who the aggressor is.
Look for lots of projection as well. Who is the actual mean (Mars) bitch (Venus) anyway? Should we argue this…or ignore it? Who it is reeeeeeeeeeal nit-picker?
Expect an interesting week, y’all. Especially if you have planets in Virgo and/or Pisces between about 15-23 degrees.

I don’t know seems the weather Here left me in a fog this last week. Today is back to real schedule kids in school me at work all with power and Internet. And hoping I can get help from the software co to fix all the messes the outages caused.
Wondering if this is the start of it for me. Aries Venus ? Does that equate? Sun 16 Pisces.
I did go to war with the plumbing this weekend. Virgo rules my 4th. And I couldn’t work do to weather issues Pisces on my 10th

Transiting Venus is trine my natal Mars in Scorpio – I think this helps. (My Moon is 23 degrees Virgo; so I may be struggling emotionally? be given an emotional push?)
I’ve already defeated my ill mannered boss in a battle of wills. With my Saturn in Pisces, I probably represent the Venus side, though I did win by tapping into my current triple Mars conjunction. Yes, Mars is stationing exactly on Mars and thanks to a retrograde in 1965, also the progressed Mars is in the vicinity. That’s a lot of Marses, all sharply squaring my Nodes, indicating more than a good chance of conflict. The fact that I successfully forced a a “superior” to retreat serves to point out that the “Lion Tamer” is not just any old degree, but one that enables you to take on much more powerful foes. If you’ve been taking crap from people who are either bigger than you or above you, this is a good time to deal with them once and for all. When Mars again hits this already sensitized degree, your chances of success will be better than they’ve probably ever been. If you’ve been wondering why the liberation promised by Uranus in Aries is taking so long, prepare to be amazed. Since this is in Virgo, careful planning and tactical superiority will mean more than the relative power of the combatants. If you know your cause is pure, you’re innocent of anything you’ve been accused of and that you can’t take crap no more, it’s time to clean house. The big, hairy monster will turn out to be mostly hair and noise. If you have objects in early Earth signs, you’ll find yourself strongly supported by conjunctions and trines to Lilith and Jupiter in Taurus, as well as Pluto in Capricorn. Objects in early Pisces and Scorpio will be supported by sextiles to the above. Early Cancer objects will be opposing Pluto, but sextile to Jupiter and Lilith, so this is not necessarily their time yet, unless they enlist the help of Earthy characters, early Scorps and Pisceans or the Holy Virgin. I see this as one of those times when God really does walk with you, but only if you REALLY walk with God.
Yes. By decan, venus is in pisces. And yes, I have virgo natally, not so much progressed. I don’t know what it is about me that runs to the rescue when I hear pain, but I am now resolved not to rush into anyone else’s drama. It’s just complaining and solution is not wanted? As a matter of fact, discussion is not wanted. It’s just noise.
I’m in classes and I am surprised that it is the male students that are outwardly picking everything apart. A tough crowd for the instructors. ( I really like the looks of what- the-hell-is-going-on exchanged between onlooking students) I’ve only noticed discontent in one female student (however: predominantly male field of study), but she only mumbles her displeasure.
This is hitting my 1st (Mars) and 7th (Venus) houses. Me vs. the other, oh boy! I was about to say I hadn’t seen anything for me yet, but then my ex called. :/
It’s coming on strong for my Virgo Sun sister, I feel for her.
well, I am hoping that it is not so nasty. Sun is 14 degrees pisces and moon is 15 degrees. So far, there has not been any nasty confrontations.
hm, have the opposition natally with venus in cancer & mars in capricorn, so hopefully it won’t hit too hard..

Nope. Nothing happening right now. My Virgo planets are low (2 deg Uranus, 10 deg Pluto Virgo 7th) and my Pisces is low or high (squeak by with a 24 deg Mercury and 27 deg Jupiter in Pisces 2nd).
I can’t afford to go anywhere, so I’m just going to pay my bills and continue to be The Hermit.

my pluto is at 21 virgo (12th), sun at 23 pisces (6th).
Nothing sexy going on for me, so I am currently hoping to annihilate my boss (oh yes, money and daily routine) from the mars/pluto side. I think if we can just push her close enough to the sun she’ll spontaneously combust. No it might not be wise, but…pluto. mars. so help me, I don’t think I can stop.

Venus 16 Pisces, Uranus 15 Virgo, Pluto 16 Virgo…Life is interesting. Have told both the men in my life to eff off within days of each other during unexpected screaming fights with lots of bad things said between everyone. If I had any more squares and oppositions going on right now I might actually move to Fiji, as I’ve been threatening to my friends! I think I will meditate AND medicate! 
Moon @15 Pisces, Mars rx at 22. Yes, I’ve been seeing it already. There are people in my life that after years of overlooking bad behavior, I had to amputate. That was 3 years ago. Well, they aren’t mature enough to let it be that they go their way, and I go mine. They, actually he, is trying to pull me into this whole competition thing, talking shit behind my back, etc. I’ve tried so hard to take the high road. Anyway, I have been doing these embroideries of Grateful Dead icons for 30+ years. All of a sudden, he’s started doing them too. In all honesty, his are very rough, shoddy, need a lot of work. Someday he might be good, but now, he isn’t doing a good job. But, he’s much better at self promotion than I am.
Anyway, one of the regulars in the scene, had been talking to me about hiring me to do one for him, but then stopped calling me about it. When I saw him two nights ago at a concert, I went up to him and told him that if he didn’t want me to do this, for whatever reason, I didn’t want it to be an issue between us. I want to be able to continue seeing each other, and for the energy to be clean between us, no matter what. He kind of laughed, and told me that there was a funny story. It seems that the ex-friend had gone up to him (probably after seeing me talking to him) and offered to do one for him for free. The regular really wants one of mine, since they are so much better, but didn’t know what to do about the ex-friend. I just calmly told him the history of why the ex-friend is now embroidering up a storm, making sure that other friends in common know how much money he is making, and how it all goes back to trying to pull me into this competition, which I want nothing to do with. God, I already want this retrograde mars to be over!

hits my natal moon, conjuncts my natal venus. Have been feeling under pressure. Trying not to lash out at those who don’t do me well. Frustrating.
Ew I hope this isn’t as bas as it sounds. I have Sun and Pluto both 24 Virgo so that Mars has been hanging over them both lately. In general I thought this would be good? It is in my 10th. More action towards jobbie stuff which I need. My Pisces is the 4th house – I have North Node at 21. So don’t know – but I guess that means I have Mars in Virgo hanging about over my South Node too. Now that I know what is suppoed to happened I think I will avoid talking to any men in depth for a few weeks.

If this means that the TRUTH will be revealed in certain situations, bring it on!! I have already seen some amazing revelations, and it is nothing but positive for me. Helps me break away from a toxic person for good.

I have been in a long storm that brewed all last year with a subordinate (for want a better word) of mine.
My chiron is 10 Pisces opp. Pluto 14 Virgo, so hard to tell how much the Mars Venus will affect this situation, maybe already passed (wish). Have support of my superiors with early Earth natal trine. Pluto in Capricorn reminds me to maintain integrity at all times.
Whatever, this is same tricks for me.
This activates my Moon-Mercury opposition in Pisces and Virgo.

At the deli yesterday, a guy was moaning & whining about having to wait for the counter person to serve two women. He said to me something about how he’s a gentleman and always let’s the laydeez go first. But he was there for 10 minutes before them and he wants to be served now. I said why do you have to make it a gender thing? Needless to say the situation did not improve from then on. (facepalm)
BTW, I have no planets or sensitive points in Virgo or Pisces. I do have Mars in Cap @21 deg & Venus in Tau @ 26 deg.
oops, I am not a double pisces. I am a Picses Sun with a virgo moon.
I have natal mars in pisces, so transit venus will cj with my natal mars in H3/pisces (19°) and transit mars (in my H9) will opp my natal mars. I’m involved in creative poetry writing workshops and at the same time, I’m having to put a lot of energy to find a job that combines with this activity which I don’t want to have to give up (the conflict?). I’m in touch with a lot of 9 house specifics in particular international networks concerned with metaphysical studies. I can feel the 3rd/9th playing out oh I realise writing this, that transit mars with trine natal sun (H5) and sextile Saturn (H7) at the same time and transit Venus will sextile my sun. Hope my action yields something positive. Looks like the tension from the opposition is diverted into my natal sun, 5th house. Art and Love?
Nothing for me … I wrote a big letter to my ex two days ago … I think I am the instigator this time…. I have no virgo planets or pisces planets.. and it’s my second and 8th houses… I should improve my relationship with money.. and work on self worth I suppose.. I just realized how much of self scrutinizing and work this would take.. Maybe the opposition would play out in that way for me
