Transit Watch: New Moon In Aquarius – January 23, 2012 – Change To Support Your Long Term

The new Moon in Aquarius takes place early in the morning on January 23rd @ 2 degrees. This new Moon is particularly dynamic as the Sun and Moon conjunction are the focal point of a T-square involving Jupiter and Saturn, two planets that balance each other. I’m loving this situation.
There are times when you can open throttle towards a goal. But there are some things that can only be accomplished by planning and slow progress. For example, you are not going to be able to run up Mount Everest, I don’t care who you are.
The new Moon is a time where we set an intention. The intention should be associated with the house in your chart where the new Moon falls. It should also consider the sign of the Sun and Moon as well as the planets that aspect them so keep the Jupiter/Saturn Everest concept in mind when you set your intention. These keywords might help:

- Beliefs or a philosophy that supports you
- Committing to your vision

As an example of how this can be put together, the new Moon falls in my first house conjunct my ascendent which represents my physical body and how I present myself. I intend to lighten up (Aquarius) my appearance by staying out of black clothing. I believe (Jupiter) this will open doors for me (Jupiter) and reduce the heaviness in my life (Saturn).

Oh my goodness. I’m freaking out. The New Moon falls in my 6th house conjunct my Venus and oppose my 12th house Jupiter. It also square my MC but sextile Mercury. As for the Saturn-Jupiter opposition, it square my Jupiter, forming a T-square. Transiting Jupiter also conjunct my MC.
I’ve been keeping my spiritual interests fairly low-key but recently, I’ve been more open about it. My feeling is that this New Moon may force me to embrace it more. I’ll be attending a massive family reunion 2 days after that new moon. There’ll be a number of devoted Christians there too….interesting how this New Moon will unfold for me…..

it is just my perception or d’you feel the same? I have a feeling that almost eveything is stucked around me, in my friends lives. And very soon with a retro Mars I don’t ‘see’ too much action, too many ‘changes’…

Oh – missed the saturn bit! Make mine a grand cross! I do feel weird, like I’m coming up to a huge change in my life and I guess I am.
I change jobs, I walk away from what my ego wants in favour of being treated properly. I don’t change jobs, we’ve decided to start trying for a family.
Either way, there’s change.

Conj my north node and MC. square my Venus and my vertex. Obviously opposite my south node.
It falls in my 8th house trine my 4th house Pluto and my ASC.
Looks like I get a grand cross and a grand trine…

This Moon falls in my 12th also, exactly sextile my Aries Sun 2nd, exactly quincunx (yuck) my Virgo Uranus 7th, and opposing my 5 deg Leo Mars 6th.
Can’t I just have good aspects for a change without all the bad ones muddling things up? Sheesh.
New moon in 9th house / Aquarius rules my 10th. I intend to research which graduate program (Saturn) will prepare me to get a better, higher paying job with growth potential (Jupiter) – and apply to it. Or maybe just take French language immersion classes and volunteer in Senegal.
At the tail end of my 1st house, trine Uranus in Libra and sextile Chiron in Aries. God knows my physical body could use some rehabilitation/transformation.
This falls in my 2nd house. Maybe it’s time to get inventive (Aquarius) about how I make my income (2nd house)? 
This is good news. My solar return is the day before and natally I am born on the new moon. Hopefully good things to come, I’ve been working hard.
Don’t have a clue what this will do to me, but the new moon takes place right in the middle of my Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the 12th house. Hopefully, because it is in the same sign, it will lean more towards Jupiter?

on the 23RD the moon is in the 6th conjunct the desc opposing mars conj. my asc in the 12th. job and relationship issues coming to the fore with the venus/mars opp adding a little spice ? enlighten me !
Which symbol represents the new moon. I have an online chart and see where the moon is, which one is the new moon? Sorry for my ignorance.

Mine is like bella luna – 9th house and Aquarius 10th…focus on writing thesis and getting work.
I intend to re-invent(aqu.) my business(saturn’s in my 4th & I work from home) by expanding my work (jupiter’s in my 10th) efforts (mars in my 1st-natal). Mars in my 1st makes a grand cross out of this new moons t-square, so I’ll just make use of that.
I also intend to change (aqu) my relationships (7th) by expanding my efforts (jup in 10th) and being responsible to my family (sat in my 4th).

mine falls in my third house though aquarius rules my fourth. i intend to get back to my french lessons and to also continue learning about the world by reading history, watching interesting films, and visiting museums and art exhibits. this will support my long-range goal of being part of a community of like-minded creative and cerebral types.
This falls in my 4th house conjunct natal Mercury/IC with Saturn and Jupiter spanning my Asc/Dsc axis.
I intend to be more open and dynamic in my communications of my feelings to others and myself to heal past hurts and to create a happier future.

Same as you, Elsa, right on my Ascendant (2.42 Aq), with Jupiter in the second house and Saturn in the eighth. Can you say something about that? Saturn and New Moon in Air, so Jupiter does not win! Health problems?
Oops, and square my natal Uranus in the 8th! Scared!

Woah – this is interesting. It falls in my 12th, exact square my sun (conj t jupiter) and opposite my moon.
This Thursday I have an interview that I’m hoping will change my career – get me out of a steady but miserable job, and plunge me into a deep unknown. Rock and a hard place!
By the 23rd, I will know the outcome. I’ll either be handing in my notice and dealing with the fallout at my current workplace, or coming to terms with the fact that I’m ‘stuck’ here for a while longer.
A big week or so here… Somewhat nervewracking, but I literaly have no choice but to carry on regardless!
