I feel that Virgos are definitely underrated, especially when it comes to sexuality. The way I see it is that they participate in sexual acts which they find immoral only when others take pleasure from them. I don’t consider that very humble.

Capricorns are underrated as well, people forget how elegant and graceful this sign is. I am not particularly fond of them, but I don’t pin them down as boring or monotone as many people do. They just aren’t as intense as Scorpios.

I feel very immune to Scorpio manipulation because I can detect manipulation quite easily, so for that I find that they are overrated. However, their psychology of things is almost always spot on just as Pisces’ intuition never seems to fail.

I think every single sign is overrated and underrated in one way or another.

I also don’t find Aquarius’ to be weird in any way, they don’t surprise me like they seem to surprise other people.

I agree about Virgo and Capricorn – Taurus too – all the Earth signs seem to lack glamour if you look at it from a purely Sun sign point of view, even though Taurus is ruled by Venus, it’s still not really thought of a sign to envy.

It’s lucky that we all (or most of us) have bits of many signs within our makeup. Those Earthy Suns, often thought of as being a bit pedantic or square usually have close personal planets nextdoor or 2 doors down to spice ‘em up a bit.

Pisces are usually only valued for being sex toys for scorpio? wow. I find that offensive. I’ve never heard it before.

I think pisces are much more in control then people may think, they’re in as much control as they want to be.
They know much more then they let on. and it’s not intentional/manipulative. maybe that’s the only thing we can’t control. Pisces have different priorities then most people.
I don’t lik people having pitty for pisces. we’re victims of ourselves at most.

Capricorn is underrated, they have infinite potential as human beings.

How about this. I have capricorn sun, pisces rising & taurus moon and I feel completely underrated in most every circle of people. I wish for Leo flair or Libra balance and beauty. I still stick my neck our there and try to make a difference in my community by volunteering on committees and spending time at my daughter’s school. I don’t have the nicest car or clothes, but my life is about serving my family and giving of myself, so while I always feel like everyone is looking at my flaws (which I tend to obsess over) My pisces asc. picks up on all those “Joneses” moms’ feelings about me, so I know which ones are two-faced, but I treat them all kindly and wish them peace, it’s the way of the tao.

Personally, I have never known an Aries who was underrated. How on earth can you underrate all that fire energy? I also don’t believe Scorpios are overrated. I think most people are TERRIFIED of Scorpios.

I agree, however, that capable, quiet Capricorn is underrated — especially their sense of humor. Which is droll and dry.

And most people write Pisces off as alcholic, drug-dependent whiney babies. So yes, I think we’re underrated.

I think virgos and pisces are underrated. Virgos aer very passionate, but they are very particular with whom to reveal their emotions. Pisces know/sense quite a bit but they don’t flaunt it, they are very humble. Capricorns are full of themselves, too condescending.

I think that its funny the way people view a piesces being one myself. Sex toys? Ill take that as a compliment. I think that piesces are underrated in a sense that people dont realize how complex we truely are. I myself feel mis understood by many signs. I have also felt that people do view us as weak indiviguals, when we are far from that. We may be sensitive, but we can still take whatever is thrown our way.

I think cancer is the most underrated star sign. Emotional, clingy, moody, needy, gets the leftovers, jealous, possessive and basically all the traits that no one wants or has. I mean what good traits do we possess anyways. Friend in need, listener, caretaker, emotional trash can. We must be the most boring people on earth. lol
Most overrated probably has to be scorpio and libra. From the threads I’ve seen-sexually magnetic , charming sociable etc.

in astrology descriptions on websites, they typically make virgos sound like the most boring, annoying people on earth. and they verbally fellate aquarius. i’m surprised aquarians don’t all have diabetes from the thick sugar coating astrology sites lay on them.

however in daily life, i find that pisces are usually underrated by people the most. the mysticism of how they are isn’t obvious enough for most people to give them the credit they’re due. once again, in daily life, aquarians win the overrated award again, unfortunately. IME, they have 800 friends, and they do whatever necessary to keep the flock pleased with their image. if the aquarian must lie, or pretend to be something they’re not to fit in, then so be it. doesn’t sound too original to me. nor do i understand the strong desire to associate with such a fake person, idc HOW funny they are.

Cancer is a definite winner in my book! I mean, without that mothering energy, there’d be no way you get along with your mother, LOL!

I’m not sure if it’s underrated or maligned, but I second blackjack’s older post about Cancer. I always feel like I have to defend being a Cancer sun, like no I’m not weepy or needy, gah.

Ares are over rated. They are the children of the zodiac.
Scorpio overrates themselves.
Libras (as well as ALL air) are wisps on the willow.
Capricorns are underrated. And we like it like that.
Virgos? I see virgos as miss represented. You see, they wish they were scorpios. But any old scorpio can be a ho. Virgos just turn it into a business. That takes smarts that scorpios just don’t have.

Virgo, Cancer and Taurus are underrated but that’s largely because so few fit the usual description (in my experience anyway). I agree the Earth signs are pretty misunderstood.

From my own pov Scorpio is very oeverrated – most I’ve known are kind of pantomime villains who play up the Scorp reputation without the substance to back it up. I’ve only known a handful of truly evolved Scorps –

I will agree with all the Cancer answers. It’s not all about the signs. I am trilingual, Chilean, Canadian raised in Switzerland… To say that i am defined by my sun sign Cancer throws people off. I am sensitive, but strong. I quite like my creative mind and love to fantasize about ALL things but I am grounded and know how to work hard, play hard (perhaps the Taurus in me. I don’t even read my horoscope anymore, it’s about your soul and your light.

I have many Scorpios in my life and I love them, emotional, fiery, kind, fun, a little too much EGO though… they get such a bad rep with the sexual aspect of the sign, us Cancers can be just as naughty, just saying.

I’m starting to see more of the downs of Aries, I can identify that they can be quite selfish, though quite sexy..

Virgo Sun here – and yes, I feel underrated -but I would rephrase that to overlooked – I think Virgos are often not seen – eveyone expects the Virgo to do all the work so they can be lazy. True we like to work and we are good at it ..but no more people taking advantage of me because I am TOO NICE!!! Us Virgo needs to be more selfish if you ask me. We are definately not appreciated by many people. Also we are NOT prudes and most of us do not dress like librarians! Most people would never guess I am a Virgo.

That said – my Rising sign is Scorpio – I have really no interest in sex – all this stuff about Scorpios being sex fiends – not true! – I think it is better to say Scorpios are misunderstood – too many Scorpios (and Virgo) stereotypes exist – Having a lot of Scorpio myself (sun conjunct pluto exact) I can say that being a Scorpio type is NOT easy at all! The only people that really get me are other Scorpios (usually Suns) and Cancers. We are emotional more than anything else. We DO have the sexiness down but just so you know most of us don’t even know we are doing it! So give us a break on that one!

I do think that Capricorns are probably also given a bad rap because of Saturn (but I don’t like Saturn either but I don’t think that means that Capricorns are like a bad Saturn) – but for the most part I can’t really give any evidence – my brother is a Capricorn and yeah, he is a typical one except the work stuff but he hoards the money he has and is a loner. I would say the Capricorns of the world probably do work too much but at least, they aren’t the lazy ones of the zodiac and accomplish something (probably one of the first signs to appreciate the Virgo!)

I hate to say this but I get tired of hearing how Libras are supposed to be the most attractive sign in the zodiac – I don’t believe it. My last two ex’s were both Libra (one had Libra rising and sun in 1st too) and I am better looking than both of them. I think Libras are overrated on that there. I also would call them selfish and stubborn. It might just have been the Libras I know – but they can’t admit they are wrong or have made a mistake. I don’t think they are balanced at all – at least the ones I knew were not and libras are supposed to be known for being balanced.

As a Virgo, I think Geminis are overrated – mostly because I don’t like sharing a planet with them because I don’t think they make good use of the Mercurial energy as they could – I think Virgos make better use of it. I am still waiting to get my own planet so I don’t have to share it with wishy washy Gemini.:) Than again, I don’t understand the air signs and all that “social” energy where people can’t sit still and “flit about” all over the place – being a moody Scorpio type myself – I don’t get it.

I don’t think virgo is underestimated so much as largely ignored. Don’t tell virgos that, most have enough self-righteous humility already.
