Uranus Direct: Satori Puts On Her Rebellion Pants

Uranus just went direct in Aries. This morning instead of putting on my usual sweats I put on my rebellion pants, my “THIS IS SPARTA!” pants. I’m not talking about a metaphor, I’m talking real “live” pants here. They look like absolute hell on me, but they feel just right. Now before you say, “oh Satori, I’m sure they look just great,” keep in mind that Nem, the resident fashionista, upon seeing them on me for the first time said, “Uh… you look… puffy.” Consequently, I hadn’t worn them yet.
I have Venus in Aries (I like military, manly clothes) square the Moon in Capricorn. This Venus Moon challenging interplay often arises in the form of liking clothes that don’t necessarily look so great on me. Moon in Cap is Saturn ruled and when Venus is involved, there’s a need to look respectable. These pants? I look silly. But enter Uranus into my Venus sign… must… look… martial…
Transiting Venus is on my Moon, squaring my natal Venus, setting this off. I’m going to wear the pants. I’m going to wear these pants, because dammit, I feel it, feel the need (Moon). Please try not to laugh at me. My Mars is in Scorpio and I will keeeeel you.

I was expecting some horror of army camouflage fatigues in some weird colour and was going to suggest some good combats which these are!! Go for it

I generally know what looks good. And aside from my inability to ascertain that I’ve ballooned into hippo-dom until 10 minutes before time to walk out the door? I understand how to dress well. 
So, it is with rebellion in my heart that I intermittently boldly stomp down to the barn in weird flannels, bunny shoes and floppy headgear. Or, conversely, covered in hay chaff, horse hair/sweat and dirty boots/jods–dodge out to run errands and damn the torpedoes!
Fear me, Cosmo-”don’t”-girls! I am shameless and flaunt my fauxpas-ness in your general direction. Rwarh.

Amen! I can’t wear them during the week anyways – strict dress code.
I like wearing them to concerts and live music shows. That way my hands are free and I can dance without worrying about a purse or handbag.

Today I rented a Zipcar for the first time and drove by myself for the first time…and the car keeled over and died. Not my fault, but stressful as hell and NOT how I wanted to start my solo driving career. Oh, Uranus…
Went to my first Aerial Silks class by myself today and I actually advertised that I was doing it on FB. I’m usually very private about trying out new things and usually want to but cancel at the last minute, but I actually just went ahead told people, did it and actually had an amazing time! Feels like I’m communicating more, acting more and not caring as much. Weird weird feeling!!! It’s like a switch turned on out of nowhere!
Uranus transiting 8th house (letting go of old limiting habits) trine Mars (changing how I act and do things), soon to be conjunct my moon (by doing things actively getting my internal needs met) in Aries.
Whoa. Synchronicity. Just yesterday, my mom was telling me that her, and her sisters husband would jokingly say to each other “I’m gonna keeeeel youuu. They say it back and forth teasing each other and laughing.
Apparently he said something negative about Bullwinkle, lol, so she said she was gonna keeeel him. He found this hilarious, because, ya know, lol, it is, and now they tease each other and laugh. Of course they use a high pitched voice for emphasis. lol…and she was serious. Don’t fuck with Bullwinkle, ya know?
Uranus (still in the 12th) is trine Neptune in the 8th. Fantasizing about revenge, hurting, and healing. Go figure. Feels a lot like pms, minus the healing part. I’m so glad I have a brain that will talk common sense into me.
Yep. It was so funny!! I never got the front row seats, but the play by play, by mom, was delicious.
Uranus just backed over my natal moon’s node (at 3 Aries) and is now about to swing right back through it. I hope the direct conj is as good as the retro conj was bad.
Rules my 4th house – still trying to adjust to living back with my parents, and much de-cluttering and re-assessing going on …
