Advice Of The Day: Consciously Pulling Yourself (Your Chart) Together

December 7th, 2011 @ 5:45 am by Elsa

Astrology-based advice

To a client:

“…My idea then, is that you are a seeker (Sadge) who wants a challenge (Aries) and quite a bit of freedom (Aquarius), along with status and success (Cap and 10th house). I am not sure if reading that is such stark form is upsetting to you but if it is, that’s a great sign. I think it’s inarguable by your chart and if you’re not aware of this, it means the nut is cracked, the pieces exposed and you can now use your skills to fashion the pieces into something workable. You’ve got to be conscious of all this, see? These are the pieces of the quilt. Now how can the be put together to make something unique and interesting that you can live with?”

What is cool about this is the gal is an artist. She understands design so I’m thinking that if all the pieces are lined up for her, she’ll know what to do. They might even fly into place overnight!

Are you aware of the various parts of your nature? If so, have you been able to create a life that allows these parts to be expressed?

Thats a beautiful metaphor you used elsa…

I know I have recently discovered, and allowed new aspects of my persona to come out and play. For most of my life I have had my Taurus rising and Capricorn stelliuminfluence to suppress more of my Aquarius suns need for expression and need to be myself. But my relationships have been playing a key part in showing me, that before I can be in a relationship and give all my self I need to integrate all parts of me and find some balance in order to be real with myself and another person. The sign that has most influence in my chart is scorpio. And that helps me to tear down what hasn’t work and keep re creating

Haha, I thought this was about you, Jennifer!

Astrology has helped me to understand many parts of my nature. I think I’m still in the process of unlocking different parts, but I am content where with I am right now :)

@Caroline – I have Pallas in Aquarius and the 4th house, but Elsa and I never discussed that part of my chart. There is another girl on here, though, whose chart sounds exactly like mine…could be her.

I’m definitely still working on the integration part. I wish I could say I’m content with where I am, but I’m so not. :(

Like Jenny, the Scorpio in my chart has been instrumental in transmutation and transcendence.

I love the use of the pieces in a quilt to describe an evolving life. At this stage in my life, I am reworking … unraveling the stitching in my quilt to look again at how the pieces were designed at some point. Life, lived over time, is surely about being aware of how the quilt or the mask fits now. My Scorpio nature has me restitching (all by hand) that’s also Capricorn. One piece of equipment I could use is a thimble so I can stitch without piercing so many tiny holes on my ‘receiving’ finger.

Life is not static, and the past changes when I look back and find someone/something I didn’t know before. It’s a real kick in the head, or ass, depending on the journey. At 64, it’s great to be willing to learn a new stitch.

& as far as me? I always seem to have to compromise something important in order to let something else come through. Push/ Pull.

Ahh well… one fine day!
