Mercury Retro: Rehashing Communications

Mercury is communications but it is also the senses. In apparent retrograde motion it moves “backward” against the zodiac over ground it has recently covered. It hits the same places in your chart that it hit previously and you have a chance to experience this same degree transit, but in a different way. For one thing, the other planets are in a different position than they were in Mercury’s forward pass, for another, it’s a second exposure and you retain the experience of the first. It’s like re-reading a book: you experience it differently the second time around.
This retrograde aspects my own Mercury, retrograde in Pisces. Neptune flavored sensing can sometimes involve communications that seem to come from “elsewhere” or an ethereal source. Who knows where they really come from (Neptune) but that’s certainly how they seem.
Last month I had the unexplainable urge to reread a book, so I did. While I was rereading it I remember seeing something that brought another book to mind briefly, but I didn’t want to pause to google it so I moved on. “Shoot, what was that… The Man Who Mistook… what, what did he mistake?” The book I reread was written in the 80′s. Yesterday I started reading the same author’s brand new book. It’s about a time traveler. Darned if the protagonist didn’t time travel into a scene from the book I had just read, complete with new interactions with those characters! Then a chapter later he referenced, “The Man Who Mistook His WIfe for a Hat.” That’s called a synchronicity and it’s fairly common during Mercury retrograde as we’re rehashing old sensory messages in new ways.
Had any epiphanies or odd happenstances lately?

perhaps it relates to something mercury is transiting in your chart, or something transiting your mercury?
Ah ha. It’s *exactly* trines my natal mercury. Well that seems like it might be significant. I better look that up. 
Less interesting …. it’s also loosely opposing my Venus in Gemini and loosely trines my uranus.
My natal Mercury is in the 12th house. I have really been having some doozy dreams lately!
One night I had almost the same dream twice. I said to the universe or whomever “I don’t know what you’re trying to tell me”.
I received the clear response “you aren’t sharing what you have learned”. Whoa.
Yeah (merc is my chart ruler) it’s currently in my 7th squaring exactly my pisces sun. I’m driving down the road rehashing moments with a guy from over the last 3 years. And Venus us sitting with Pluto on top of my natal Jupiter in the 8th it’s a wicked thought pattern I like it and yet dont 
Cool post. I spent a few hours this morning revising some old poems. It’s interesting how I was able to find the necessary words and placement today to improve the poem’s meaning and direction. I wonder if the energy that is available to me right now is the reason I am seeing my work in a new light. I am certainly grateful–so much productivity.
Satori, You are speaking to me with all your writing lately! Epiphanies? My life is full of them right now. I’m having my Chiron return & recently “realized” my name which i knew wasn’t what I was given at birth has been a bigger issue than I thought. Also, a situation regarding my daughter is being looked at in a completely different perspective. VERY INTERESTING what one see’s when looking with an adjusted pair of eyes & from a different perspective.
Numerous Wizard of Oz references from multiple sources, almost all of them very out of place. This is syncronicity at it’s finest. Years ago a dream about this movie started the dominos falling that allowed the situation to come to light regarding my daughter. Pluto is transiting her 8th house which had Neptune, Saturn & Uranus.
Great stuff Satori, can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings from you & Elsa of course.
Oh yea, I forgot about all the owls coming at me. 1 flew at my windshield & I slammed on my brakes & he flapped twice almost stopping then flew off. 4 days later there was a thump at my right windshield & I turned around & an owl had flown into my car & it was on the side of the road looking at me. I covered it up, brought it home & put it in a basket. Apparently it was just stunned & flew away – thankfully.
An owl sat on the blindside of Athena, the godess of wisdom – lots of blindsiding in my life that is being dealt with right now.

Mercury in Sagittarius is currently in my 10th. About 2 days before the lunar Eclipse, I received an email relating to job applications has been rejected. I feel really disappointed and discouraged with life. I was hoping that the last lunar eclipse could give good news about the employment as it is in the 10th but it was the other way around…why oh why !!!!
I’m re-reading a book on Mercury Retrograde. LOL. I just finished it before the retro and don’t have a new one to start into. But the book references a lot of other books that sounded interesting so, I’m going back through and jotting down the titles and authors so I can get them.
Slightly odd happening:
Going through boxes of photos and whatnot that have been packed away for a while, I came across a pair of sunglasses that were my security blanket when I was 3. My mom and I had just been looking at the pictures from that time and wondering what had ever happened to them…
this Mercury Rx made me sit and calculate my credit card expenses… ill have to pretend dead, and cut out any future shoppings, for a few months, till i settle it.
Mercury was about to leave my 2nd house by the time it started rechecking the 2nd house. (progressed chart)
Now ill have more control over my $
CancerMom, I love Mojo! I saw him at a small club in the 80′s: I was thrilled! “I did it all for brotherhood!” 
Ms_east, don’t lose heart. If a particular door is not opening, it’s probably the Universe trying to redirect you, asking you to dig deeper. I hope you will get creative and believe in your path.
Cancer Mom, Owls have been a special spirit animal in my life. They have come to me at times when I needed to be reminded of “seeing in the dark.” Very important medicine. Way cool for you.
