A new session starts in the Colosseum on November 16th and run through January 16th. It will be an ElsaElsa Astrological Show and Tell! It will be community-based learning, astrology from the collective with both formal and informal elements. There will be the official class posts, one for each week of the class, but also the opportunity to have free-form threads in a private forum.

The cost is $35 for 8 weeks. While anyone can start and participate in threads, the official content will be 8 session posts authored by Colosseum participants, volunteers.

With the theme of “Show and Tell!” the presenters have the opportunity to stand up in front of the class and make a presentation on an astrological subject they are passionate about, something that “floats their boat!”

Caroline submitted the proposal for this session and noted:

Each presentation will be different than a “regular” thread; the presenter must put together a neat, clear, well-planned piece that should include charts, images, and videos. This gives presenters an opportunity to be unique, original, and creative, while teaching other students in the class something new and interesting!

The topics will be chosen by the presenters. Each class post will have a unique flavor with each different writer, but a cohesive overall cast as we are all learning from each other. Each post will be followed by general discussion, the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the conversation on the subject.

The subjects will vary in orientation from beginner though advanced. In addition to the official class posts everyone has the opportunity to start threads of their own. Anyone can show and tell their own interests, astrological or otherwise, in the unofficial threads. Historically it’s also a great place to have some interesting or conversations in a protected forum.
