I see two major formations in the sky hotting up over the weekend and the Moon moves between them. In addition, there’s a t-square with Mars opposing Neptune and Mercury-Venus squaring from Scorpio. I love the broad category of horror movies and this weekend seems to span them all. The t-square is very like a horror movie. The way to get the most out of love this weekend is to approach it as you would a horror movie. To my mind there are two types of horror movies and two types of characters that survive and thrive. First you’ve got the straightforward type and second the ones that employ humor. You’ve also got two types of survivors, the hero/heroines and the intelligent, quirky smartasses.

Who are the ones that don’t make it? They are the sluts and the reactionary dumbasses. The ones who make it and the ones that don’t are higher and lower expressions of the same concept. The romantic leads are the higher manifestations of the ones who screw around, and there’s a short jump from class clown to assclown.

The setup for the weekend movie starts before date time. At date time, evening, the Moon is in Sagittarius, which can encompass all of the above named characters, higher and lower. But the setup is the start of the day with the Moon in Scorpio at the tail end of the stellium. There’s a lot of dark foreboding with that stellium in Scorpio. When the Moon reaches Sadge and the mood goes up, it’s important to remember that we still have a deep energy in the background. Use that buoyant Sagittarius energy to its highest use and you’ll be smiling by the time the credits roll.

Be the clean, smart and strong romantic lead, make it an adventure! Moon in Sadge and Mars in Leo can be heroic! Or be the smart, funny one. Saturn is still in supportive sextile to Mars, and Jupiter aspects both the Sun and Pluto.

There are equal parts Jupiter to Pluto energy available here. You can tell the truth in an uplifting way or a way that blows things out of proportion and gives in to the fear. “Who’s laughing NOW?” will get you a lot further than “Oh my god, we’re all going to die!” Keep a smart sense of humor and a positive outlook. The Moon energy supports this. Tell the truth but watch what you say. Never forget you’re in a horror movie and don’t be that idiot that says, “Hey, I’m going to go grab some beer from the cellar.” Speaking of beer, the heavy drinkers never fare well in these movies. I’d keep that in mind and keep your wits about you.
