Transit Watch: New Moon In Libra – September 27, 2011 – Very Important Opportunity Here!
My eye on the sky.
This is a big one! The new moon takes place early in the morning (US) at 4 degrees Libra. It will be part of a large stellium that includes the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. That’s a lot of Libra!
The Sun and Moon will be tightly square Pluto at 4 degrees Capricorn, while opposing Uranus at 2 degrees Aries. These are the same degrees of the Cardinal signs that were hit by the summer’s grand crosses so it’s super sensitive. I’d not read dread into that because there is tremendous potential here.
The new moon is associated with new beginnings. There is a chance here to heal (Pluto) relationships (Libra) between people never expected to see eye to eye again. I think that is pretty exciting. Even if you don’t pay much attention to new moons, I’d make note of this one because it’s a very unusual array of planets.
To set an intention, check the house where the new moon falls in your chart. Think along the lines of bringing peace and grace, diplomacy and beauty to that area of life.
For example, the new moon lands in my 9th house which rules foreigners among other things. I will set an intention to get along with as broad an array of people as possible. I will try to be an ambassador, working to bring people together from around the world, via my blog (publishing / 9th).
If the new moon is in your first house, you might want to polish your appearance and your presentation in general. If the new moon is in your 4th house (home), you may want to decorate your home or make peace with your family. You get the idea…

His Jupiter is exactly at 4 Libra, 11 degrees away from MC!
I think it should be lucky for his arts-related profession and so I picked a good day to launch his project on the 27th without even knowing about the Moon.
Me? 4 Libra in 11H, loosely square Jupiter and trine Moon. I don’t know what 11th house means.

End of 1st house. My appearance needs an upgrade, yes! I’m in the “no other options” weight-loss mode. I have felt awful for a long time. Just not myself. I actually avoid people and have been putting off seeing people I haven’t seen in a while. There are job things I would do if I looked better. And I hate my clothes!!
Good thing is I am feeling calm and methodical, not emotional, about the process. Like I’m in default mode. That’s when I know I’ll be successful
My desc is 7 Libra, should I count this as 6th or 7th house?
Falls in my 8th house, sextiles my Mars in 6th, which is also conj trans Mars. Trans Venus Saturn trine my 12th house Saturn Venus Aquarius. Sun Moon Merc opposes my Sun in 2nd.
I’m running out of ideas. All Summer I’ve had job/romance aspects and so far, 
has happened. I’m still waiting for my Aries Stellium to kick in.
My parents will be in Vegas for the fourth freaking time this year – maybe they’ll win some money and share it with me.
9th house also and i think i will try to engage in socializing more… I do enjoy being around others i just hate having to be the one to travel all the time to see them… If I had a designated driver I wouldnt mind so much!

Depends on house system. Placidus, 8th house, Equal, cusp of 9th. Exactly sextiling my Uranus, trining my AC. Think I’m going to have to really work at setting intentions and using this to my advantage.
Other than this comment, I’m taking a break from here (I followed from twitter). Unless I’m missing something, the only relationship I can think of, is one where I can really never see us seeing eye to eye again. We’re just plain rude to each other now, and I’ve never had a relationship like that with someone – not that this is a relationship any longer, just a kiss/slap, as you mentioned in your newsletter. If we touch base at all, we’re exchanging barbs. this is one of those things where someone asked if an ex apologized to you years later, would that be a good thing? I thought at the time that my answer would be a yes (even though I didn’t post), but now I can see why several people said, “no”. he put me through a lot of grief out of pure selfishness, and ever after this past month, he contacts me and is rude (and he knows what’s been going on). I resent losing time to ever caring about him – which is highly unusual for me, but he took much-needed energy (needed by and from me, elsewhere).
It will be in my 11th or 12th, depending on house system, and will hit my t-square of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. I’d welcome the healing of any other relationship, but I’m not sure about this one. Sun/Moon will be trine my Moon/Venus. My intentions are to feel good in myself, regardless of whatever else is happening. To heal the past thirty years, and come to grips with what was brought up in the past two years, thanks to certain people.
12th house along with saturn, the sun, and mecury-any advice? I’m nervous
The 5th, within orb to my planets there, including my Sun. I can see what my intention probably ‘should’ be, but I don’t know if I’m up to it. See, I read this – http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_dgfifthhouse_e.htm – and it gave me the thought that this occurring in my 5th maybe is about my relationship within myself to 5th house matters, not about a relationship with another person. I’d prefer the latter, but then it’s all tied together, a knotty knot. Thanks for the head’s up, Elsa! I definitely need to give this more thought.

- opposes my Jupiter/moon/IC conjunction
- sextiles neptune cj my sadge AS
- trines mercury (gemini/h6)
- squares saturn (cancer/h7)
I have to think about this one – Saturn is transiting my 10th now for a while and it’s not very clear where I’m going…

Today I just hung out with my ex best friend whom I told myself I would never hang out with again because of a fight we had that to me was the end of our friendship, slowly I did begin to miss her but Today I made the jump and actually drove to her new house and we had a very pleasant day together :]
If I go by Equal House, the New Moon will also be aspecting my natal Vertex and Uranus at 4-5 degrees Libra (at the end of the 6th House). Ugh.
I was hoping this would be good love news for me since my Solar Return has a stellium in Taurus (7th House) with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Now I don’t know if I’m as excited……
Hmm…It falls in my 8th house, but I don’t really know what direction to go with that. :-/ I’ll figure it out eventually…hehe

Well, I guess I should be positive. My Sun and Mercury will be aspecting my Vertex and Uranus with the New Moon too. I’ll also have a Venus, Juno, and Saturn conjunction in Libra (7th House). Expect the best..

Mines in 12th and after all the pummelling my moon has recieved from dear saturn, im hoping the emotional maturity gained from it will enable my intent to be genuine,good and pure to help where ever i am able, both consciously and subconsciously, or at least see where any remaining sabbotaging hidden mindsets still lurk to take charge of them.

This new moon means something special to me (what, I’m not exactly sure). I was born on a new moon libra and the 27th is 3 days past my birthday and will conj. Sun and Mars but is wide of moon/jupiter. If the event crystalised into ‘seeing eye to eye’ with past adversaries, that would be too much of a miracle as some damage cannot be reconciled, especially in 8th house. It would certainly be an Uranian effect. Nonetheless, I feel quite good about this new moon, as it occurs on a Tuesday (day of birth) and is timely as a start point for where I am to be moving forward, having emptied emotions bound up from the past few years. The new moons can be likened to a receptacle for the seeds of intentions which wax into form through applied action; coming to fruition in some way with the full moon. This new moon carries electrifying gravitus and lily, the 8th house is about shared resources (usually with family) inheritance, estates, surgery, espionage and warfare. Some will come into a large inheritance of some kind, if not financial, then ancestral or spiritual and some dark secrets could well be revealed. As I’ve Venus in Scorpio anyway, I’m generally shocked by what I discover!
oh ps I am also very hopeful that we will find somewhere to live as we have to be out of here by end of october, had huge strikes from aspects in my chart from full moon just passed which i hope i have handled well as the new moon trines my natal jupiter in 4th and a good new home is just what myself and my adult children need, so yep its a biggie for us!
@DaftAida, thank the God of Saturn for your shift and awareness in that transformation. Why do we have to take the BS before Saturn leaves the wisdom? Crazy! But I suppose to deal with the emotional childhood crisis our mothers transferred on, huh?
Wow, how dare I project my emotional realms onto others to give them what i should had been giving myself – love. I also could have never imagine a time where I would not be in constant engagement with others as well. I Thank Saturn for allowing me to catch up to my real self at this time with Pluto squ Moon/Saturn.

Thereby, remembering what you stated, “When I swim out again beyond this bay…it will be in a more receptive mode, at a considered pace, perfectly content in my own company without feeling obliged to give to everyone else’s needs and demands.

I came back here tonight with a possible update, but then realized that it’s too early to tell. I have a history of making up with this person, only for him to be really not care about my feelings – he told me more than once, that my feelings didn’t matter. I saw a little glimpse of something when he surprised me by sounding less than smug, earlier on, that had me thinking of your talking about this chance. I’m wary, though.
The New Moon, the Sun and Mercury are all conjunct my true node on my second house. Saturn is on the cusp of my second and third house. Am I to make further peace with my finances, sense of security, and my purpose in being here in this planet?

After a horrible two years (hello Saturn, hello Neptune/Chiron) I’m hoping for a new start. I need it.
Am also – rather unexpectedly – having some work done on the house during the coming lunar cycle. (Pluto in Cap is currently transiting my 4th house).
Elsa!! This falls on my sun/moon midpoint. But more importantly this will be on my South Node (in the 4th). I feel a bit worried! Any serious concerns here?

11th house, exactly conjunct my natal Saturn. t Pluto squaring my Saturn and trining my Venus exactly. Interesting.
The New Moon will be in my 11th house directly opposite my Aries Sun at 4 degrees. I have been working very hard to build balanced relationships and feel very good about the results. I’ve actually been experiencing some real rewards for that work, and maybe it’s time to extend beyond my inner circle and make an intention to reach out to my community more.
This does feel big, Elsa- so, I’m going to take my time to come up with just the right intention. Thanks for the heads-up and guidance.

Natally Neptune stationed his bloated,fogbound,soggy ass there, and hasn’t that been fun.
As far as I can tell it means that, as my Dad said in his last words to me.
“They’ll never understand you.”

8th conjunct sun and mercury. Definitely could use some solace in the 8th house related subjects. Would like to be free of some of the intensity I’ve been feeling lately.

3rd house is where the New Moon hits in my chart… it will conjoin my North Node and Venus (and also square my Saturn exactly in 6th). I can’t make up with siblings as my brother has been dead for 24 years, don’t really have much dealings with immediate neighbours. The only person in my life currently who I don’t expect to ever be on good terms again is a former friend at work, and I would like to be cordial instead of having to deal with her BS.
8th house. trines my sun in gemini (1 deg orb), sextile my MC in Sagittarius (1 deg orb), opposite my natal chiron (2 deg orb), conjunct my natal uranus at 0 deg libra by a wide 4 deg orb.

so this early Libra new moon is sitting in the tail end of my mostly Virgo 1st house .. some of the ancients would round out the houses back to the first degree -so maybe we could see this new moon as a second house phenomenon for us Virgo risings..(yet with all this Libra energy about, i remain undecided)
