Quick change artist Gemini loves to keep them guessing by using their wardrobe to change it up and have fun. Often the Gemini has more than one “look” so they can dress for what affect they want to have on others or what they want to present at the time. This makes the Gemini fun to dress and have fun dressing because there is so much they can do with their wardrobe! The idea is to plan for their quick changes and keep them organized by choosing just those looks that work for them.

One look that Gemini can pull of that is very “now” is the one of dress shorts with patterned tights and interesting sweaters and blouses on top. There are some great cuts in shorts these days which are made of wool or wool mixes and are meant to be worn with thick tights, blouses and even blazers. These new shorts are a great answer to a short dress for you can move around in them more and this pleases the Gemini.

Dressing these new shorts can interest a Gemini because they can change up the accessories or what they wear with them and get much wear out of one pair of nice shorts. The shorts should be cut in a conservative way such as with cuffs and a nice waist band. They should be about mid-thigh or a bit longer and one can wear them the length of the shortest dress they own. Adding colored blouses with bows that tie at the neck or blouses with scarves wrapped around the neck make these shorts look dressy. One looks good in these dress shorts when they add a sweater of any length from cropped to oversize. A good idea for the Gemini dresser is to find different ways to dress a pair or two of these shorts so they can show off different looks with the same pair of shorts. The shorts are best in colors such as charcoal, brown or black because one wants to preserve the conservative look of the shorts to help them make the transition to the office or meeting. Adding textured tights with cable stitch or any other thick pattern causes the shorts to jump up in class and topping them with a blazer is the best way to make them work every where. This look is fine for all ages because the shorts come in all lengths and looks and can be dressed conservatively if one would like to wear them in that way.

The Gemini loves to mix colors and accessories so the new shorts are an opportunity for them to change it up and have some fun with fashion. Gemini also loves a bit of an edge to their look and like to get a reaction when they dress so these shorts are perfect for them! The shorts should fit very well at the waist and not be too tight or made of any fabric that has too much stretch. The idea is to dress them as you would a nice pair of slacks and then add some tights to keep the legs warm.

I also like the 60′s mod dressing that is out and about this season for Gemini for it has fun colors and allows them to mix it up a bit when it comes to color. Whether you wear this look in a color-blocked dress or a crayon-color dress with crayon-colored tights, it is new and a good time can be had by all Gemini! Crayon colors are huge this season and the color-blocked dresses are made of bright colors that, again, remind us of the sixties style dresses.

There is a push for the “super hero” look in T’s and sweaters that are bright colored and have super hero emblems on them and this look is also Gemini completely! A Gemini loves the costume and so the super hero look is a great edgy look for them! Think in terms of crayon colors when you buy clothing if you choose to embrace this look and remember the look is very brightly colored so you may want to buy some brightly colored tights or black tights to wear with dresses that are brightly colored. A color-blocked dress in bright colors looks great with black tights or colored tights that match one of the colors in the dress. I’ve seen some wonderful oversized sweaters in bright crayon colors with super hero emblems on them that are very fun and so very Gemini! These super hero sweaters can be worn with the new colored jeans I mentioned in “Fall Fashion by the Signs, 2011, Aries” with the new shorts or a great brightly colored pencil skirt! The idea to wearing bright crayon colors is to find them in classic cuts that have been worn in the sixties, for example, so they look new but classic at the same time. I love clothing that lasts and these bright-colored clothes are cut in classic cuts which means they will last and be worn in many different ways through out the years. Gemini loves color and people are ready for color after so many years of drab color so we can expect these colorful clothes to say “in style” for some time.

Fun shoes to wear with the above styles include faux skin shoes in colors so you can keep the color moving all the way down your body! Faux skins like alligator or snake in colors from pink to blue are out in shoes that are cut in a classic manner so they can be worn with all your clothing. You should search out these colored skin shoes in your price point and think in terms of classic pumps, oxfords, ankle booties and even classic tennis shoes for shapes you can wear with your new clothing. Adding accessories can also bring your wardrobe into the new year if you choose bright colored bags to carry or clutches make of this new faux skin. If you do not have the cash to change your whole wardrobe try wearing these new brightly colored accessories with your black and gray, for example, to make the look new and fun! If you can buy one fun accessory this season try making it a faux skin item that you can wear with as many of your clothes as possible.

I always write about the Gemini quick eyes that look great with a bit of colored makeup on them. The Gemini face should be full of life and a Gemini dresser can get away with fun colors if they are used with a light hand and in very classic ways. The sweep of a brightly colored eyeliner can be stunning on the Gemini eye if the color is well applied and not swept out into cat eyes. Colored eye liner can be found in tubes that have wands or an easier way to apply it is to buy an eyeshadow in a bright color that can be applied wet and use a tiny brush to wet the eyeshadow, thicken it on the brush and sweep it close to the upper lash line in a thin line. The rest of the lid can be covered with primer or concealer to keep it out of play and the eye will look playful, new and interesting.

Blush for a Gemini is a great thing so long as they do not make their eyes too heavy handed. If you are a smiling Gemini nothing shows off your personality like a sweep of blush that is in a natural color that one blushes in nature. The look to wear with blush is a conservative eye with a lightly smudged eyeliner in black or brown that gives the eyelashes a more full look.

There are new mascaras that are made to be very thick and give you very thick looking lashes or you can use a primer on your eyelashes and then add two coats of mascara. This pretty and classic eye with thick lashes looks great with a sweep of blush and brings out the always “cute” face of a Gemini dresser!

The Gemini dresser, no matter their age, can always look “cute” and that is a very great gift! If you wear blush to show off your smile remember to use a light hand with it and keep your lipstick a bit natural. To get a natural lip you can try a lipstick that is a shade darker than your natural lip color and applied with a lip liner and applied with a lip brush. Find a lip liner that is a shade darker than your lip color and apply it all over your lips before you apply your natural color so it stays all day and looks clean. Blush is a very strong statement these days so the subtle lip is a perfect pairing with it. Gemini types have such quick eyes that I love the thick lash look on them and would certainly recommend a Gemini trying them! Remember to curl your lashes first before applying your eyelash product to get the widest eyes you can!
