Transit Watch: New Moon In Virgo – August 28, 2011- Grant Trine – Virgos Rejoice!

Virgos are pretty battered at the moment. Ruler Mercury is retrograde opposing Neptune but this is breaking up now as we head into the sweet, lovely, rich and powerful new moon in Virgo on the 28th.
The new Moon is conjunct Venus which always offers a kiss. Better yet, the Sun, Moon, Venus conjunction in Venus is part of a Grand trine in earth involving Pluto in Capricorn and the other benefic planet, Jupiter in Taurus.   It’s going to be very hard to go wrong here.
In fact, this looks like money to me…big money and access to power. Some may lie around and overeat, inflating their worth in more ways than one but with Virgo and Capricorn involved, odds are better that your hard work pays off!
You’ll most definitely want to set an intention under this potent and prosperous new Moon. The grand trine is spectacular and I recommend that you incorporate it when you set your intention.
To do this, figure out where the trine falls in your chart (4-10 degrees Earth). In my case it hits my water houses, 4th, 8th and 12th. There are endless possibilities but as as example, I may want to think about expanding my wealth and self esteem (Jupiter in Taurus) by being sensitive to the emotion (water houses) of others (Venus) when I work in service (Virgo) to empower (Pluto) people.
If the grand trine falls in your Earth houses, you’ll be looking at being more practical and grounded. If it falls in your Fire houses, you’ll want to go and do. If the trine falls in your air houses, think along the lines of socializing and lightening up some.
No matter what you do, this will be a great day for most. Especially Virgos who I do think deserve a break at this point!

theyll be in my 4th 8h and 11th houses on 28 aug. im born on 26 aug so it seems like i can enjoy the pluto-jupiter-sun/venus-grand trine in 3rd 7th and 10th house for my solar return. they are more than welcome and i happily take that mars-saturn square along. cant be more challenging than the previous years:)

O my gosh!!!! This will sit right on top of my natal 9 Virgo sun, and natal 11 virgo Venus in my 8th house!

My husband has a 7 Virgo Asc. and a 9 Virgo Sun. I’m hoping he’s gonna see something substantially positive and soon. Jupiter stations trine his Sun, squaring his Pluto/Venus conj. If my head stays in the Ephemeris any longer I’m gonna get neck whiplash.
I’ve searched the site for that post that tells you how to find out where something falls in your chart (written by Nota, I believe) but I can’t find it. Would someone be so kind to link to it for me?
I think this must fall in my first house since I’m a Virgo Asc but I’m still learning/ frequently confused!

yay, this my solar return chart (plus or minus a few days)! it hits my 4th, 8th, and 12th as well.
i confirm the battering of virgos – in the past few weeks my anxiety level has been thru the roof! thanks mercury & neptune.
The moon will hit my natal pluto in virgo – trine in 3rd/7th/11th H.
kr – go to astro.com and input your birth data. then you’ll be able to see your birth chart (it’s free). the simplest way to figure out what house these planets are in is to plot your birth chart and check which houses 4-10 virgo-cap-taurus fall into.
from the ‘free horoscopes’ page you can select the quick chart drawing. if you select extended chart selection you can change the house system. i’m not well schooled enough in this to explain to you what a house system is but i believe elsa uses equal houses (i think astro.com’s default in the quick chart is placidus)
you need to know your birth time to get the houses correct.
and yes, if you’re a virgo ascendant between 1-4 degrees the new moon would be in your first house, but if your ascendant is in the later degrees it would be in your 12th house.
3,7.11 Pluto in 11, Jupiter in 3, the rest in 7.

For Ox in Earth..Pluto in 2, Jupiter in 6 conj natal Mars the rest in 10. He deserves for his hard work to pay off and needs a break here! I’ve got my fingers crossed

Question, anbody . . . when you talk about a planet transiting earth signs being in a water house, do you mean if the natal planet placement of the transiting planet is in a water house (sign)? Thanks in advance for answer.

Solar return: 2nd (Pluto), 6th (Jupiter), 10th (New Moon, Venus, Sun)… im not working, health issues… a more evident public image?
Progressed Sun chart: 3rd (Pluto), 7th (Jupiter), 11th (New Moon, Venus, Sun)… i hope this is good for my personal relations with my siblings, cause it seems as doomed.

The Solar charts this year for virgos are great!! Grand earth trine. Hallelujah!!!! Jupiter (2nd) and pluto (10th) trine my sun (6th). Thank the LAWD!!! hee-hee. It’s nice to feel the lift after that hellacious grand cross from July. July can SUCK IT!!! lol.
OH, and don’t forget MARS will be making a long tour in virgo (my 6th)

I’m a Virgo and this hits my Earth houses. Sun at 11 Virgo 10th house, and Juno at 5 Taurus 6th house.
I want to see my career go to the next level.
It is in my 2nd, 6h and 10 houses. So I would say hitting my earth houses Conj with pluto in my 2nd house

All I know is i have a stellium in Virgo in the 2nd house, with Virgo sun, Pluto and Uranus in there. And right next door I have Venus in Leo and Jupiter, and on the other side in the 3rd house, I have mercury in Libra. The last 2 months have been pretty much HELL at work. I am feeling a tad better, but have been VERY emotional over the silliest things. Like seeing a rainbow and it reminding me of past pets that passed away….crying on the way home from work because of it….weird stuff…. man I hope this crap is over soon, or I am going to the looney bin!

It falls in my 1st house, just past my natal Venus/Pluto in Virgo – woo hoo! The Virgo New Moon falls just a few days after my Venus Return. Hoping for good things – starting with needed physical healing, a basic requirement for anything else to happen. And some stress relief. As a Virgo (Sun, Mercury, Venus and Pluto) you’re so right that we need a break!
I’m confused! I looked at the ephemeris and is has all these numbers but no indication what sign they are in! ummm…help?

Natal Jupiter 10 Taurus 8th, natal Mars 9 cj natal NN 11 Cap 4th, Virgo’s my 12th and my Sun is in late degrees.
I’ve had a few bad days with Neptune opposition but feeling like internal balance is becoming more and more achievable, if and when – and only if and when – I pay attention and remain aware. It’s been quite a slog though.
I’m a novice so I am confused….Sun conjunct my Uranus in 2nd, Venus conjunct Venus in 2nd, Pluto in 2nd a few degrees farther from Venus, Pluto on cusp of fifth in Cap, Jupiter transiting 10th at 10 degrees but natal Jupiter in 10th (retrograde)at 24th. Any input appreciated, I’m a bit confused!

I have no idea how to figure out where the grand trine falls in my chart. I actually don’t even know what a trine is! I just recently started becoming interested in Astrology. Can anyone help? I went to astro.com and found my free chart drawing. Now what?!?! Excuse my helplessness!

this new moon conjuncts my natal moon in virgo at exactly 5 degrees but squares my gemini sun at 3 degrees.
the trine will be in my 7th house in virgo, 11th house in capricorn, and 3rd house in taurus and is trine my natal saturn in taurus at 3 degrees.
hoping for a good start in a new career…I’m just waiting for word on when I’ll start.
I think I once mentioned the possibility this one or the coming Grand Earth Trines might trigger a wave of seismic activity, what with Pluto in Capricorn and all. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/
I guess that site tells all we need to know about tectonics. You may notice the increased occurrence of quakes larger than 5,0 Richter. It’s also evident that new areas are becoming active, as I believe some of us have experienced first hand. Earth forces flowing freely can do a lot of damage, so please be careful if you live anywhere near a faultline. If I say heads up, I probably mean it. When Mars finally joins the Grand Earth Trine, I’d advise you to make preparations in advance and tell your kids what to do in an case of an earthquake. I do hope I’m wrong, but I have a bad feeling about the one with Mars. Where it hits is not my job to know, so don’t ask.
The grand trine on August 28th falls in my 3rd ruled by Leo,7th ruled by sagittarius,and 11th ruled by aries houses… so would it be fire or air?
Transiting venus will be conjunct my natal moon…transiting Pluto will be conjunct my natal venus….and transiting Jupiter will be sitting between my natal south node and natal jupiter.
I also have a grand trine in earth signs natally from my moon in virgo,venus in Capricorn and south node in Taurus…the same houses as the transiting grand trine in earth (though I’m not sure if the nodes count for grand trines or not, it seems to count at clairvision).
The transiting new moon in virgo will fall in my 2nd house conjunct transiting mercury and conjunct my natal saturn in leo…I don’t know if that’s such a good thing or not.
This should be an interesting period of time for me. (???) I can’t figure out if this will bring me good luck and drive or restriction.

I actually did try figuring out Nota’s explanation, however, that’s what confused me even more! I don’t know how to figure out the degrees, the signs, etc…that drawing of my natal chart from http://www.astro.com makes no sense to me…
Basically, I just want to know where the grand trine falls in my chart and what I should focus my personal intentions on.
Can anyone help please?
The early degrees of my earth signs are in the earth houses – Cap Sun in 2nd, Taurus Moon in 6th. New moon sits on top of my Virgo midheaven at entrance to 10th. Sounds good to me…
