Transit Watch: Full Moon in Capricorn – July 15, 2011 – “You’re Not My Daddy!”

The full moon takes place at 22 degrees Capricorn. This is a straight-forward situation in that the Sun and Moon are unaspected though are some other things to consider.
First, determine the houses where the full moon falls in your chart (see how here). These areas will be lit up the way a room is when you turn on all the lights. Using this analogy, you see that the full moon is not inherently good or bad. Your experience is tied to how you feel about what you see when the lights go on. If you don’t like what you see, you can change it!
Cancer/Capricorn represent the parental axis. These signs are concerned with family and security so we’re sure to see this theme play all over the place. “You’re not my daddy!” Boundaries are also big.
In addition to considering the full moon, it’s worth noting that the word of the day is CONTROL. The sun, moon, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are all in Cardinal signs so this is serious business.
You can try to control others but you’ll have a lot better result if you work to control yourself.
This can be compared to investing in your own savings account rather than theirs. If you do move to run someone’s life, expect to be blocked, thwarted, rejected… and just all kinds of thing it would be better to avoid!

so this will fall in my 6th house. More obsession with the order of things…I have Pluto in virgo so I’ve always been interested in routines, practical shortcuts etc…maybe I’ll get a sudden insight or innovation. I’ve been pretty disgusted at my laziness lately.

1st house conjunct natal Cap moon…
Working on developing the blue prints to my new structure.
natal cap full moon at 26. 6th house. maybe i’ll have that new job — either way, old or new, a whole shit-load of work is coming my way. or maybe i’ll realize my body is a mess.
however, i should look into how to better handle the sun/moon/mars t-square. that will no doubt surface. maybe the energy of the moon will help me get with the energy loop of the t-square instead of falling into the old habit of fighting myself then getting pissed off…
with the moon nearly conjunct my ascendant and venus conjunct natal mars. but i’m still in a holding pattern so i don’t get too excited about these things.
This one falls in third house, and on moving-in day. I moved out of my place June 6. The move was unexpected, but we handled it well. My son and I have been pretty much happily crashed at a friend’s house, and everything’s been in storage for a month.
Finally found a place, so this Full Moon is great for focusing on neighbors, finishing the moving project, home, and clearly communicating how I want things, since that will affect how smoothly the whole thing goes. Wish me luck!
…the gods have been kind so far, and even re-adjusted my own lunar cycle so that my monthly meltdown postponed itself for two weeks, so I didn’t have to deal with that kind of emotion in addition to M.O.V.I.N.G. (I don’t say it out loud or I’ll upset myself).
Venus will be conj. my Vertex in my Cancer 8th house. The moon will be in my 2nd but not aspecting my Venus. But I guess I will be having to care for someone’s emotions, and put mine on the back burner. And it looks like it will be my ex because his Mars conj. my Vertex. I think the other person I am thinking of, will be dealing with his own crap in regards to the woman in his life. He has has Gemini in Mars transiting his 12th house and has told me they are arguing a lot too, as I am with my ex.

Fills in two t-squares to make a grand cross. Just like pluto will in very short order. Oh goody, goody. change and transformation are afoot. Somedays I hate and somedays I relish such changes.
Wow, it falls right on my descendant, to the degree. I have no idea what this means, I haven’t learned much about the descendant, but 7th house is a partnership place. Any thoughts on what to meditate on with such an accute transit? Thank you Elsa

on the 2nd in the Solar Return…
well… ill just w8 and see it… nothing surprises me.
It hangs on in my 5th by 4 mins. Conjuncts my Equal House Cusps and is Quincunx my 22 deg Venus in Aquarius in the 12th. So far, I have seen no 5th House activity from these eclipses, so am waiting for the unexpected to hit me in the face. So far, no dates, no fun (no money), can’t play the lottery…just waiting.
7th house, conjunct Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.. Here we go, I suppose? Wish me luck!!

It falls in my 12th, trine saturn and sextile uranus so maybe a step out of the dark towards new duties beckons. It is my potential stepson’s birthday two days after the full moon so it may be that I get to have some involvement there.
Coincidentally, transiting mars is exact conjunct my natal venus in the fifth house that day, so kids and being involved with future father of my own will be very much forefront in my mind!
Conjunct natal Cappy Moon in 2nd. Definitely short selling the house.
This Full Moon in Capricorn will happen in my husband’s natal 8th house, i really don’t have any idea what it has for me thereafter. Thanks for the share Elsa, awesomely narrated.
Well,when on the 3rd of july I asked Elsa for a consultation on relationships I hadn´t checked the transits yet, but now I know at least what pushed me:My natal venus and antivertex is exact this full moon and conjunct my progressed sun, and conjunct the sun of the composite of a relationship that is becoming significant for me.
And yes, i have had lately found myself in several instances where Self-control (and not other´s control) patience, contention proved very important!

This full moon falls on my birthday at 22*Cancer and with my 4th/10th house cusp at 24*Cancer/Cap. Going to be a year of Family? Work? Family? Work?

This full moon (July 15) conjuncts my natal Mars in my 1st house. We will be traveling (by car) to visit my father who has just been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Any thoughts on how this full moon translates ….

D’oh! I meant to say 11th house this time, as these eclipses have been hitting me on my 5th/11th axis. Tomorrow I am visiting a friend I have not seen in 16 years. I am helping her get through her divorce. I’m bringing her charts and going to explain how she’s going to come back bigger and better than ever, just like I am.

Just discovered this site. Saw this article. On July 15 (my birthday)I was in Knoxville TN executing a multi-day event for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. It was the first event in a series that covered 12 cities, two countries. My natal moon is 21 degrees Capricorn, in my first house. I knew this birthday was unique for many reasons, but didn’t realize why because I was not tracking the transits. Wow.
