Transit Watch: Venus Opposite Pluto – July 8, 2011 – One For The Record Books – Real Value – Real Friends – Real Money – Real Power

Venus opposes Pluto on July 8th, 2011. This promises to be a very intense transit because Venus and Pluto are caught on in the Cardinal grand cross which is going to complicate things.
When Venus aspects Pluto, invariably old lovers surface. I call them corpses (see video Step Away From the Corpse) and on occasion refer to them as people who climb from the trash cans where you dumped them.
You may be the corpse yourself. People love to ping old lovers under the transit for reasons that are often sub or semi-conscious.  They say they “just want to apologize” but they really want a lot more than that.
In general, I don’t think it’s a good idea to dance with the dead. There are exceptions though and this transit is more likely to produce those type situations than your typical Venus Pluto transit because Saturn in Libra is involved.
Venus Pluto is prone to amputate others; Saturn in Libra insists you have good cause.
Venus Pluto wants to contact the ex, Saturn in Libra insists it better be the right thing to do and utterly grown up.
Venus Pluto is also the ex who is contacted and if you owe your ex, I’d make itright.
As an example, my first husband and I divorced 20 years ago. I felt guilty so I cheated myself out of money in the settlement. I realized this a couple years later and called him up.
“I don’t think our divorce was fair,” I said.
“How much do you think you’re short?”
“$27, 000.”
“I’ll send you a check tomorrow,” he said.
He did send the check and this kind of scenario fits the grand cross. It was a shocking (Uranus)Â exchange of money (Venus Pluto) that made things right and fair (Saturn in Libra).
The point here is if you do have a corpse pop up, before you shove him or her aside, make sure you don’t have a debt. If you do have a debt, pay it (Saturn) and get yourself free (Uranus) which is what my ex-husband did. We were both liberated by his right action,
Now there are going to be some love-shocks with this and we may see a severe drop in the stock market. It’s unpredictable, see? Uranus. But no matter what happens, we can rely on the fact that Saturn in Libra is in this mix.
Saturn in Libra will limit things, keep them fair, keep the peace, make a brake available but…
But this does not mean your house does not lose 40% of it’s value.
The things is, if your house does lose 40% of it’s value, then you’ll know what it is really worth – 40% less than you thought. If you’re betrayed under this transit, you will know what the person who betrayed you is really worth. You get the idea. On the flip side, the people who support you during this transit, with their time (Saturn) or money (Venus) or energy (Pluto) – well you’ll see what they’re really worth as well.
So we’re talking “real value” here but the real value of some things is going shock. Many of us have relationships with people we call friends but at the first sign of trouble, they vamoose!
If this happens to you, I guess you’ll have a new corpse in your life but you’ll simultaneously be liberated from your responsibility to them which will free you up to make a real connection elsewhere.

Speaking of that dynamic, I’d say there are many out there who know just the right combination of words and information to HELP someone FINALLY sever that tie to..whatever? Probably be a good idea to give it up now.
I am a bit nervous about this transit as I have to make life changing decisions around then. Go back to school again or pack up and leave to start a new life.

Transiting venus will also oppose my moon at this time.
I have venus/pluto/saturn in tight conjunction natally and this just helped me immensely in understanding it in a whole new way, as well as this coming transit. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Im having such light bulb moments at the moment reading here even though some are painful but cool bring on the realitly check 
I saw him right around when Venus went retro in Scorpio back in October at a Typhoon show. He was with his newish gf that I did not know about.

Well, I also emailed him some in April because I was rather ill and had to be hospitalized and had surgery. I told him I was scared and I’m going to take care of myself and my diabetes from now on because if something happens to me, who’s going to be a pain in his ass? And more importantly, how many Typhoon shows would I miss?

I saw him June 3rd at a show (Typhoon was one of the bands) and we were both wearing green. I wanted to talk to him, but I wasn’t sure if he was with someone. We saw each other and he very deliberately walked past me, that I could have reached out and touched him but I couldn’t even look him in the eye because I just can’t deal with the rejection anymore. But I know I looked good, so that helped. Thing is, I didn’t know he posted a new mix until a couple days after I saw him… if I’d heard it before, I might have gotten some courage to talk to him.
I mean, he can deny it all he wants cuz he’s got Mars in Pisces in the 12th, but I know he’s trying to communicate.

I think he’ll be at Oregon Country Fair during this transit. I’m thinking about putting on my fairy wings and bumming a ride down there. It’s fun to spook him

I’m not really worried about this one, actually. I enrolled myself in the advanced Saturn in Libra class and have been doing my best to conduct myself with integrity in my life. I’ve learned to say: “Yes, Sir” when Saturn speaks!
Also, although they’re in a grand cross, they’re all playing nicely with a few of my planets – Venus trine and Pluto sextile my Jupiter, Saturn trine and Uranus sextile my Moon & Sun.
So hopefully, if any corpses float to the surface, the coroner will come & pick them up quickly and respectfully.
That occurred to me afterwards. I just thought about anything else may have posted here, over the years.
Well, I’m confident I owe absolutely nothing to any of my corpses. One of them definitely owes me though, and it would be a HUGE shock (Uranus) if he actually admitted it and paid up! It’s been over 10 years, so it’s highly doubtful. ;-(
One of my corpses owes me and our kids big,too; but his redemption would have to literally come from the grave — unless those still living, who were in cahoots with him; finally decide to do the right thing. Heh, I’m not holding my breath…

I’m not ‘pinging’ my last ex-boyfriend or even putting myself in his path but he owes me, BIG TIME, for the pain that he caused me. I’ll never hear an ‘I’m sorry’ though, I know it and hardly expect it. It’s really sad but if he walked back into my life asking for a second chance I would give it to him. *sigh* I really, truly hope this transit doesn’t bring him back into my life – it would be cataclysmic to my equilibrium.
