If you have any heavy emotional work to do, get it out of the way Friday night or early Saturday morning. That’s when you’ll find you’re best supported. If you don’t get it done and out of the way you may find you just don’t have the drive to do it at all. Things you need to do, things you need to say, get them out of the way so you can build on them later.

If you get all your emotional work done early in the weekend you’re going to get the best out of what could be a really fun Saturday night! That emotional work could mean taking a cold, hard look at the reality of your love patterns or someone else’s. It may be you need to decide whether or not they work for you and if they don’t, whether or not you’re going to do something about that or work to change it. The other option is acceptance.

This is also a good time to give and receive nurturance. Sunday is Father’s Day around these parts. Honoring those who nurtured you is particularly appropriate. So is accepting that appreciation from others. Some just send a card out of duty, and if that’s where you’re at, that’s enough. Just make sure you satisfy your own internal requirement in that regard or you’ll be smacking yourself later.

Sunday afternoon the chickens come home to roost as far as that emotional work goes. How you feel about your situation will be a reflection on its reality, and viability. Pay close attention.
