Transits In The Sky vs. Transits To Your Chart

June 10th, 2011 @ 6:06 pm by Satori

“The Sun don’t beam, the Moon don’t shine;
The tide don’t ebb and flow–
a clock won’t strike, a match won’t light.
When love goes wrong, nothing goes right.”
–When Love Goes Wrong, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

devil vanWhen I write a Weekend Love Forecast I’m looking solely at what the chart of the sky looks like. For instance, most of this weekend the Moon trines the Sun and Mercury in air signs and Juno trines Mars in earth. This gives a general energy of smooth communications and grounded action. It’s the energy in the environment, however, and your mileage may vary.

Why is that? Well, it’s because however harmonious the general energy is, it may not be in concert with your own chart energy. For instance, anything in the mid-degrees of Libra or Gemini runs afoul of my Pisces and Capricorn, my Sun and Moon. I’ve already had my ego and my feelings hurt today. The upside is that the world didn’t pull over to stop and gawk as the general energy is that of tempered breeziness.

So while it’s really nice to get a feel for what the general energy is, it’s also a good idea to check for how it hits you personally. The reverse is also true. Under a crappy sky sometimes you will find you are able to skate by with a good day because your personal planets are hit just right.

How are YOU feeling today?

I can’t remember the last time I was this tired, and blue. It feels like postpartum depression, I get the mars quincqux my sun but the why so glum chum, beats me. I know, I know I just gave birth to a really big dream and now it’s time to ground, I know all that stuff. I just ain’t *feelin* in.

Is there a magic number that defines the difference between getting up late and going to bed early?

I feel normal. A little cranky, but that might because I haven’t ate in 9 hours, Lol. Overall, a lot better than in the past years!

I feel like an asshole. I did not two hours ago. But there you go. Now I do.

I know I’m not. Very likely. But I am beating myself up. (I’m used to this ebb and flow.) So… Yeah… I always read what you and others say in relation to my own placements. Which may be wildly different from any one else.

I am finding this sky to be infinitely changeable from hour to hour. It is hard. I always thought (or still think myslef to be) adaptable. But these days changes are quickquick.

Oh well. I made it to 43. I may make it to 44. That’s just one month away, give or take.
