Transit Watch: Full Moon In Scorpio – May 17, 2011 – Don’t Take Any Wooden Nickels
My eye on the sky.
The moon is full at 26 degrees Scorpio early in the morning (US) on the 17th so we’ll see affects of this particularly complex and dynamic full moon ahead the night before.
The Sun and Moon are square Neptune forming a T-square so I think some will be disillusioned with what is revealed at this time. Others will be inspired but the trick is to be inspired by your dissatisfaction.
We have a second T-square under the the full involving Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. This is quite harsh unless you want to apply this energy to get yourself free from an oppressive, disempowering situation via struggle which most will avoid at all costs. If you want inspiration around this just consider walking around with a thorn in your foot for 20 or 30 years, does it not make sense to do what you have to do to get it out of there? But people are afraid.
Last, Venus, Mars and Mercury form a triple conjunction in Taurus and the three planets trine Pluto. This should be enough to keep the peace for the most part.
Virgo should benefit greatly under the full Moon. Everyone else is going to have to work it. This is fitting because Virgo does so much of the work anyway.
To fare well under this full Moon, “Don’t take any wooden nickels“. Real value, baby. Avoid the shysters, and gather real gold, real love – authenticity!

The Full Moon in Scorpio is also called the Wesak Moon, the Full Moon of the Buddha. A time, it is said, that the Hierarchy who oversees the planet’s evolutionary and spiritual path descends from Shamballa to grace and offer guidance to humanity with Light.
This ought to be interesting as the Full Moon occurs right on my 5th house natal Neptune.
This affects my whole chart. Yahoo! Why am I not wearing a cape?
Conj my 29 scorp moon and my 5? Sag Neptune on my 7th cusp. Sextile my Pluto. Also inconjunct my 29 Aries Venus in 12th….
Kashmiri, mine to by hitting 3 things it ends up hittingbpretty much everything. It’s hitting my kids charts too
Wow, Elsa, you must have written this for me…
Elsa, what about planets in Virgo? Would they benefit?
I meant other planets not just Virgo suns?
I just made the connection… this full moon (endings) that hits my Neptune in the 5th house (creativity) today – I’m completing my last drawing for my illustration class today. How appropo! Love it!
Thanks for the post, Elsa!

Uh oh…my local food co-op gives wooden nickels for purchases above a certain amount. Guess I better watch out because I have a bunch of them.
Seriously though, thanks for the heads up. Will have to ponder this more.
