Capricorn:

Get to know your cobbler and if possible replace the tiny heel on your pumps before you wear them because it is so inexpensive to do so and the factory heel is always plastic and wears down fast. Your bag is also a statement if you are a Cappy dresser so spend the money on your bag and remember that one good bag is better than ten that are inexpensive and poorly made! Choose bags that work with all your clothes and don’t go too far out with your bag if you want to make a powerful statement. Colored bags are fine if they are well made and if they match your outfit somewhat. It looks great to carry a red bag with a black outfit but don’t mix too many colors when it comes to your bag. Solid color shoulder bags look great as do ladylike bags that are carried by hand. The best bet for you is a shoulder bag or a hand bag that is made of a solid color and designed in a classic design. You can change it up with color but don’t go too far out in the area of shape!

Remember to take your bags to the cobbler to have them cleaned and if they are scuffed try to have them repaired. Never carry a slouch bag if you are dressed for business unless it has a flat bottom that it sits on to give it some shape!

Your purse is big business for Capricorn-type dressers and an investment bag is a good purchase for them to make! If you don’t have a designer bag think about what you spend to have three or four bags and invest that money into one good bag to make the right impression.

Aquarius dressers are some of the most imaginative dresser in the zodiac! Fun is what they are into and they can wear so many colors together that they feel undressed in one color. You can wear multi-colored pastel and bold prints like no other so indulge yourself and go ahead and mix it up! Butterfly sleeves on blouses float around an Aquarius type and they look great when mixing two prints on top and bottom if they try. You need to find things that show the open person that you are and say to people that you are interested in everything and everybody!

Wide-legged jeans with floating tunics come to mind when one thinks of Aquarius and clothing that looks like it is from another culture works well on them too. An Aquarius type often looks great in boots in the summer months so long as they wear light clothing with them or shorts. An Aquarius loves gadgets so having pockets in your clothing is key for you. Try finding pants with multiple pockets or lightweight jackets that have hidden pockets to have fun wearing while working well for you. Wearing short dresses with pants that are skinny underneath is a great style for Aquarius types. If you don’t like the careful way you must move when wearing shorter dresses try thinking of them as tops and wearing pants underneath. Aquarius hair is free and easy. When it is straight it is usually worn straight and when it is curly or wavy they usually wear it that way. The idea is to polish your very natural hair style. Using a product that conditions hair is a great way to start working on your natural style because it will look healthy but not take away from what you look like because you want to be “you.” Crèmes are available to give a softness to curly or wavy hair that will not weigh it down and oils are there for straight hair to smooth fly aways and keep it looking healthy. Find a product you can leave in your hair that will condition and hold a bit because you are not one to have your hair done perfectly before you leave for the day!

If you have long hair a loose, loose ponytail looks very fetching on you and is easy to pull off. Try fastening your pony tail down further instead of right on your head to pull of the loose look and let some of your hair out of the ponytail to hang. Pulling up a part of your hair also looks great on Aquarius with long hair so you can fasten a part of your hair on top loosely and let the rest of it hang. If you have shorter hair letting it do its thing looks best on you but placing it with product and using a diffuser can make it look even better. Take the step to find your product so your hair lasts longer and you don’t have to wash it every day.

Often an Aquarius likes to shower and wash their hair daily but it’s not healthy for hair to be washed every day and if you have color it will fade, so try washing every second or third day and keep you hair in its best shape by spraying it lightly with a spray bottle to reset it where you like it before you fly out the door! An Aquarius is least likely to like to do their hair, after an Aries, so think about how to make your hair look healthier by taking small steps that don’t take a lot of time. It is also wise to have your hair trimmed at least every two months to keep it looking healthy even if it’s long. The Aquarius is most likely to cut their hair themselves but this is not wise and you can get the cut you want by working with a hairdresser!

Tint your hair in colors of the rainbow if your job lets you get away with it because color in your hair is certainly “you” and you can wear about every color. If you can tolerate clipping in hair strands you can add color wherever you want by using extensions that you place yourself. If you have the time it becomes you to have a great color in your hair to show off your wardrobe and your skin so think about doing that crazy thing to your hair that you’ve been thinking of trying! I’ve seen Aquarius looking smashing having part of their hair shaved and the rest very short but hanging down so you can get away with much when it comes to style!

When this happens they literally take on the look of a movement of a belief system and this can look very interesting. It can be lovely to buy a big brush and a great bronzer or tan blush and brush it on your face lightly because it feels like you are spoiling yourself and it looks so smashing!

I like a bit of mascara on Aquarius types because Air signs have such expressive eyes. You should always take care of your eyes with makeup and take the time to have a routine there because your eyes have so much interest when it comes to your face! I have a hard time convincing some Aquarius types to take the time on their face because at a certain point in their lives they have an urge to be themselves at all costs but playing up your features is still being yourself if you accent your features and don’t try to change them! You usually have something to say so color on your lips is a great idea and you might like a stain best because it wears well. “Benefit” has a great lip and cheek stain you might like that works on most people. You should try blotting lipstick if you don’t use a stain because your lips will last longer and the lipstick will be less shocking with a blot or two with a tissue.

Remember that you are just showing off your particular features and not trying to be anyone you are not! Every face is unusual and yours can look better with a bit of makeup! Going without any make up is often saying that you don’t care how you look but we know that everyone has something to say when it comes to how they look even if their statement is “I don’t care!” I see Aquarius types often trying to prove they don’t go for that sort of fake look by going without makeup altogether but that does not say what you want it to say! Pick and choose what form of makeup looks best and plays up the features you love the most and use them! If you like your eyes make them the focal point of your face or if you love your smile, accent it! You can make your face look unique with color by using your own features and taking a bit of time each day to do a bit to look even more like yourself. Even if you brush a bit of color on your face everyday you are looking better and more interesting so experiment will all-over color.

There are powders for all over the face that highlight it and those that add color. You can make just about any skin look better by shopping the all over face powder accents available these days! Try “Bare Minerals” for many different colors that are meant to be used all over and try for a bit of shimmer because Aquarius types can pull off that shimmery-type facial color very well and it can be seconds to apply. You can even stay more natural by using a clear mascara after you curl your eye lashes, and if you choose this look your eyes will look open and refreshed but your lashes, although looking longer and curled, will not have any dark color on them and look as natural as they can! I have enough Aquarius to try this from time to time and I love the freedom of it! The idea is to get color on your skin to bring more attention to your face and help you look even more lovely without breaking with your need to be yourself at all costs! Hopefully I have convinced some Aquarius-type dressers to try a bit of makeup and if I have they will be happily surprised at the outcome!

Pisces:
Ah, Pisces! You can project just about any image with your clothing but if you truly dress for Pisces you want to feel free, comfortable and like you can daydream anywhere you are, any time. Loose-fitting clothing serves you well and you can flatter your body with loose-fitting clothing by choosing fabrics that are lightweight in the summer even if they are cut oversized! Oversized clothing is something a Pisces loves because it gives freedom of movement and mind so think about oversized tunics with three-quarter-length leggings for example!

If you are caught up in the skinny jeans trend think about going for the softer leggings that are Capri length for the summer with dresses over them or roomy tops! The idea is to cover your hips a bit if you are wearing leggings to look your best no matter if your body has perfect proportions!

Try a slip dress with a very easygoing cardigan in a color that works with your skin tone! If you love blues and greens like many Pisces do think about wearing dark, jewel-toned blues and greens if you have dark skin or a tan in the summer. Many Pisces are lovers of black dressing too so they can keep some energy to themselves but all black can be too harsh for a Pisces so you want to add color in a scarf, a jacket or a cardigan!

Accessories can break up your black as well and I love Pisces in strong necklaces made of color like red, greens and blues! Choose chunky jewelry if you wear a lot of black to bring out a bit more of yourself and open yourself up. A Pisces in too much black can depress themselves and cut themselves off from people and that is not the way they feel best! Even though black is very fetching and works with everything it can drain the energy you can get from people which you truly need! Invite others in with a pop of color that has some fantasy even if you use prints over your black.

Prints for Pisces are soft and it’s important they don’t wear you. If you wear a print near your face make sure to study it in the mirror and make sure it’s not wearing you! Small prints are less likely to take you over and so are prints that have a collar that is solid. A Pisces tends to become or sink into whatever they are wearing so what you wear is VERY important to your well-being! Sensitive Pisces needs to be dressing in what appeals to them and not to others so don’t let anyone tell you what you should look like, but take tips from people if you feel they are helpful.

Thinking in terms of color is important for Pisces dressers. For example, blues and greens open you up to people and create a feeling of sensitivity around you. Blues, greens and pinks soften you up and allow for an exchange of feelings you might be craving. Red is the color you should sport if you need power that day or if you are lending power to a situation. Wear red on days that you feel strong and like you want to take on the world. Red also helps the body have strength and can affect your health by making it stronger. Yellow or mustard draws people to you and gives you an air of being open and happy. Yellow or mustard for darker skin is something you should have in your wardrobe for days when you feel happy and like you want to show it! Of course, black saves some energy for you and keeps you safe from others, so wear it on days that you are short on energy and want to save it for yourself to do your job or have strength. Study colors and how they work for you to get an idea about what your wardrobe should have in it!

Your clothing should not fit tight and should have room to move about no matter if you are still wearing skinny jeans! You don’t want to be distracted by tight clothing and bothered by people when you like peace, so give your body a break and test clothing before you buy it by sitting down in it and seeing if it pulls or hurts your body in any way before you buy it. Soft, soft cotton that costs a bit more is great for you in the summer, and dresses long or short that have empire waists give you room to move and float about without pulling and tugging. Make sure you don’t have to put your clothing back in place after you sit or stand to take the headache out of your wardrobe as well. You might want to try jersey pieces that flow to mix and match in the colors that suit you each day.

Having a wide variety of colors is important as we discussed above but so is having the right fabric and fit! You should try long, flowing dresses in a maxi length that come in colors that suit you because they move with you and give you that illusion that you are floating. Wide sleeves on tunics with capri leggings look great on Pisces because the sleeves are like wings, so look at the 60′s and 70′s inspired pieces that are on the market now. Buy the tunics that have wide sleeves in colors that are muted so that they don’t wear you but add bits of gold or silver for a rich look that gives you a glow but is understated.

Too much embellishment can wear you but you can glow with a bit of metal in a fabric, so have a few outfits on hand that have silver and gold for times when you feel like you want to glow. The idea for Pisces is that they can project just about any idea in the clothing they wear but is it comfortable for you to project what you are projecting? Is it good for you to project whatever you are projecting? You can take on character like some other signs but often that character does not suit you or say what you want to say. Think about what your clothing is saying about you! Too often I see a Pisces-type dresser wearing pastel clothing because they are shy or want to come off “soft.” Wearing strong jewel tones can be great for you so if you wear pink, soft greens or blues remember to try a deeper color or a pink with some blue in it so you make more of a statement with your color and it will also work well with your skin tone to have more pigment in your clothing.

Don’t be shy about color and know what works on you by studying yourself in the mirror with different colors on. If you disappear like many Pisces try to you are in the wrong color and need a stronger one! Join the human race and say something with your color and don’t hide in the pastels that you have worn for years! Everyone knows a Pisces type that wears soft colors that help them fade into the back ground but that is not doing them any good and can isolate them. Wear black to keep your energy to yourself and to fade a bit into the back ground if you’d like to on that particular day but keep color in your wardrobe to help you stand out and make a statement about yourself on other days! I love to see a Pisces sporting color in 60′s and 70′s styles that are peaceful and loving but also have a bit of a float flair about them that is very Pisces.

Again, empire waists on dresses whether short or long work well for you because you hate to be pinned in by your clothing. Belts can make you feel as if you are in prison so think about stretchy belts if you belt your waist like the style is at this time. Remember that belting the waist is trendy and you don’t have to do it. You can buy blouses that have a waist in them and go without a belt to feel free. Feeling free and making a peaceful statement is what warms the Pisces heart but often they are afraid of making this statement. Pisces faces should be matte because shine makes them look unpolished and not made up. Try matte makeup or a matte primer on your skin to stop the shine and finish your face with a powder that is sheer and non-colored to keep the shiny face away. You can get away with a clear powder if your skin is nice and you have no blotches but if you do have something to cover think about wearing a mineral makeup to keep the shiny face at bay. If you can wear only a sheer powder make sure to add a face primer to add highlights or just keep your pores looking nice. To have a face that looks smooth and shine free is perfect for you so think about powder as your friend. There are powders on the market that have sunblock as well so you should find a sunblock either in your moisturizer or your makeup powder to keep your skin in good condition.

A Pisces-type dresser often goes easy on makeup for the same reason they wear pastels and that is to not show up or off. Forget fading away for the sake of others and flatter your face by wearing makeup and loving it! Keep blush very light on your cheeks because a little goes a long way on you, Pisces! Try a powder blush if your skin is oily and make sure you keep a light hand while brushing it on. I like Pisces with blush only on the apples of the cheeks with it blended into the hairline ever so lightly!

The eyes often have it for Pisces so having an eye routine and makeup is important for you! Mascara is key to having great eyes so curl your eyelashes and add a primer to give your lashes some power before you add mascara that is colored either black or dark brown. If you are light-skinned you should do your mascara and brows in dark brown to avoid making too heavy of a statement, but if your skin has color to it or if your eyelashes are black naturally make sure to use black mascara. You should use a dark brown eyebrow powder or pencil to make your brows show up and don’t forget the brows because just a dab of color will make your eyes pop!

Pisces-type dressers have great eyes and should make them show up no matter what they do with the rest of their face! Smudge a little eyeliner or shadow at the very base of your lashline to line your eyes lightly and avoid a dark line that can be seen or give you “cat eyes.” The smudging of eyeliner is easy if you use a dark shadow instead of a pencil liner but a pencil liner can be smudged if it is made well. Use dark brown to line your lashline or black if you have darker skin. The idea is to make your lashline look unbroken and heavier without looking like a clown, so go lightly but don’t skip the step of either lashes or brows! If you have a large lid area go ahead and add some shimmer shadow on the lower lid in a color that is natural or a blue or green if you are younger.

Young Pisces dressers look great in green or blues on their lower lid while older Pisces look great if the base of that green or blue is brown so it looks more natural. Color the lid with a sheer color so that your skin can be seen through the color. Don’t darken the whole lower lid and cover it with pigment because it can make your eyes look too heavy and your eyes are some of your best features. Use a water color pigment in eyeshadow if you are going to wear it and only use color on the lower lid. Use a light beige or a color that is close to your skintone to highlight just under your brow where it arches and blend around so your highlight your eyes and help them to be seen. Don’t go heavy on highlight when it comes to under your brows but remember to highlight the area even if you use the trick of using your concealer to highlight under the brow.

Brows are oh so important to showing off your eyes at any age so have them groomed and don’t have them plucked off all the way because you take away the very thing that frames your eyes and your whole face on the top! Brows should be arched and left in their natural shape but cleaned up and you can find tutorials on “YouTube” that help you know how to do your brows yourself. Don’t try wax unless you have practice doing your eyebrows with it or have been taught by a professional!

Last, lips are important as well for a finished face. Line your lips with a liner that is close to your natural lip color so your lips don’t get lost on your face because Pisces lips can fade where the lines are. Fill in your lip with the pencil you used to line it so your lipstick lasts longer and go ahead and use a real lipstick instead of a gloss that looses your lip statement. Again, don’t be shy when it comes to lipstick and make sure you follow all your lips without leaving out any and cover the whole of your lips with color by using a lip brush. Lip brushes can be found at any price point and for Pisces I suggest they own at least one if not two so they have one in their purse. Choose a lipstick that has plenty of pigment but stay in the red/brown or pink/brown area so that your lips look natural but show up!

Don’t be shy when it comes to makeup because modern makeup is very watercolor and does not look heavy on the face. Use double the makeup when you are taking photos because your face can fade into the flash when using a camera or video camera. Most of the time a Pisces type is shy about makeup as they are about using any color when they are some of the most talented artists there are! In fact, one of the most famous makeup artists in history was a Pisces, and Pisces is a natural when making up their eyes. A Pisces often seems to have a sense of how to make up their eyes just by looking and do a great job when going it alone!

Pisces hair looks best when it has the illusion of flowing no matter how long it is, with one exception and that is the pixie cut or the use of long bangs. If you are a Pisces-type dresser you want your hair to have the tousled look that is so free looking while still looking pulled together. To get that look one can use a “wave” product which is a product that puts waves in the hair. You apply these products to damp hair that is partially dry and most of the time they are sprays. You spray your hair with these products that imitate the hair you can get when you spend the day at the beach and let your hair air dry. The look is a bit mussed but very lovely on Pisces types who look best when they are not roped in by hairstyles that are too polished and “just so.”

No matter what your hair length try to get some wave going and try drying with a diffuser to prevent curls and waves from pulling out. Use your fingers to dry hair and try not to disturb the curl or wave you have going by lifting hair as it dries and not combing or brushing it. You should not have to comb or brush your hair all day if it is cut right and putting it back in place with your hands should be all you have to do if you check yourself in a mirror. The reason I mention pixie cuts is that the long length style of pixie cut that has long hair on top and bangs looks great on Pisces because the bangs give them a place to hide and when hair is cut shorter it it thicker and has more body. You can try having bangs cut as well to get this look but remember that if you hair is long you most likely will need other layers if you add bangs. Hiding behind bangs looks cute and mysterious on Pisces and the mystery is where it’s at for Pisces types!

Try putting body where your hair is longest and try having the long hair near your eyes to pack mystery into your look. No matter what your hair type is you should have it framing the face and take the time to separate pieces and put them toward your face to accent your eyes and lips. You look very “other worldly” with this look around your face so I recommend it no matter what your hairstyle is. No look that is too “done” looks right to the Pisces type because they love their hair to look natural and wispy which is what is perfect for them!

The new cuts usually have long pieces in front so if you are inclined to go for a new style I like the longer pixie cuts, shorter shags and shorter piecey bobs for Pisces types. Too long of hair requires the face to carry if off after a certain age and not everyone has the face to support long hair. Also, if your body is petite you might look shorter with long hair and that does not help your feeling of floating! Measure your hair length by your height and have a hair dresser help to look taller and give you a look of ease of movement from your hair. Hairspray can be the enemy of the Pisces type because it takes away the natural movement in the hair so try a paste of crème to hold the hair instead of a hair spray!

If you have a face with large features you can pull off long hair and look smashing but if your features are small, which they often are on a Pisces type, you want to draw attention to your eyes while still having hair there where your eyes are. A style with wisps is great for you because you can play with it and place it wherever you like! I love curls on Pisces so if you have naturally curly hair go ahead and let it curl while using a product to keep your curls soft and manageable. You want to use a crème to coat your curls or a leave in conditioner so they are soft and stay healthy before you apply any holding product. Don’t hold your hair too tight or you will look “uptight” which is just not “you!” Taking the time to feel your hair and think it through is so important because your hair says so much about who you are. What is key for Pisces types is that they are not shy and take the time to show up and make the statements they want with their look. Because Pisces types are so sensitive they often take on a look from another sign because it is strong but feel Pisces inside and don’t know how to dress for themselves.
