Aries:
Aries, how do we go about getting you a fashion “uniform” that is quick, you and up to date? Since an Aries hates to load down their face with tons of foundation it works for them to wear less! The idea is to wear foundation where you need it and leave it off where you don’t.

Your skin is probably good in areas and you might have acne or dark spots here or there. Use foundation on the areas where you have problems and blend it with a sponge for good results. You can use a concealer as well for under your eyes but make sure you don’t cake powder under the eye for it looks like “white out” and makes for very big fashion accidents! Sponge on foundation where you need it and blend, blend, blend for best results. A great stain for your cheeks can be found in makeup lines and works best with regard to fading in the summer heat and one of the most popular is from the “Benefit” company. It is a cheek and lip stain in a color that is flattering for many skin tones depending on how much you use.

A coat of waterproof mascara is great even if your eyes are sensitive, as mine are, because there are sensitive mascaras out there as well. The waterproof factor helps them stay on in summer activities as well as heat. Keep your liner to a minimum if you use any because it can melt and run and if you are addicted to your liner use a waterproof liner as well. If you find your eyes stinging you might be allergic to the metal in the color so try to find one for sensitive eyes.

Lipsticks that pop are the most fun this season so try to take the time away from that busy Aries schedule to shop for just one that suits your skin color. An eye-popping pink or orange is the pick this season and orange looks fantastic on tanned skin. An Aries often loves a tan so make sure you have a “faux tan” and use sunscreen when in the sun! Less is more for you, Aries but with just a bit of effort you can present lovely and look like the action figure you are!

Try the jumper this summer because it is a good bet for you because you love to dress fast! There are jumpers that are roomy and comfy which have shorts instead of long pants are are very flattering and can be worn by all age groups depending on how you use your accessories! Flats are very happening this season and even “short” women can wear flats if their clothing is fitting them well. Never assume that strong Aries can’t wear anything because you can wear anything with all your energy. Although you don’t like to invest your time or money in clothing often think about what it can do for your ambitions if you dress a bit for success! Aries also looks fab in clothing that is form fitting and often are attracted to it. The block color dressing is very good for Aries because of the use of color and what color can do for them! An Aries in color is an Aries in full bloom so try new colors even if it’s like pulling teeth for you! To change an Aries idea of dressing is very difficult because they are strong-willed, but it you decide on your own to update yourself you can become quite creative in it and make things work for you. Too many accessories buries Aries who are quite simple in fashion worlds because they don’t like their clothing to wear them. Keep it simple and loose for summer and remember to check your fabric labels because dry cleaning is just not a good idea for Aries or for summer! If you are stuck in your jeans this year as you were last year remember to replace a few pairs with flared legs which are very flattering because they tend to balance your top half with your bottom half. Go ahead and buy large flairs because they will be in fashion for some time. The 70′s vibe is still large in clothing and I think it will remain so for a very long time.

The idea is to infuse some color in your wardrobe for summer and try putting on a faux tan to make the color pop! A healthy looking Aries is an attractive Aries so a tan will make you look healthy and beautiful. If you are an Aries that lives in black try to add a color on top of your black to bring you open to people more and help you find followers for your creative ideas! Remember to apply product to damp hair that is almost dry to have it stick and be able to do it’s job. If you apply product to hair that is too wet the product will not stick to the hair shaft and cannot work well for you.

Taurus:
Nothing makes a Taurus happier than fabrics that feel lovely against the skin. For summer there are great cotton separates that run from tunics to tops, leggings and pants which are meant to mix and match and feel fantastic. There are great lines that are meant to be worn together in creative ways that are perfect for Taurus and allow you to express yourself whether you like capri length pants or long, skirts or shorts! Look for neutral color separates from the same line if possible so it’s easy to match them and go for some pieces that are striped and some that are solid for great mixing!

You can go for just about any accessories to make it pop but I like Taurus in jewelry that is bold and made of natural material. Whether it’s rocks or metal the jewelry that fits this style is bold and makes a statement while rocking out your separates that make your body feel great in the heat. Over sized tops with capri length pants is a great idea and don’t forget the classic striped top that is very hip this summer!

You can find any sized top in a stripe and it looks new this summer so don’t forget to buy one if you see one that can do what you want. You can count on this style to stay in style for years and years and Taurus loves an investment when it comes to clothing. If you have to dress for work think about wearing cotton dresses that have full tops to avoid dressing too naked for the office. You look great in forties styles as we have discussed before but I love the idea of a flowered summer dress for the office that is sleeveless or cap-sleeved. If you wear a sleeveless top think about investing in a summer sweater that is a cardigan but is woven loosely so it isn’t too hot when you wear it over sleeveless tops or dresses. You can wear more to work if you cover your arms and let’s face it, anyone over the age of 21 looks better with a bit of arm cover if you ask the designers! A loosely woven sweater is perfect for office air conditioning and adding a touch of class to a bare top! Nude is a great color for a coverup in the summer and a mix of cotton and silk or very softly woven cotton is great for material. If you invest in a few you can change out your bare looks and wear them almost anywhere. Pay attention to the feel of the fabric on anything you buy because you love anything that feels nice against your skin.

Taurus often wear clothes past their “due date” because they become soft with wear so it’s better to buy them already soft and made of quality material in the first place. Earth colors look great on Taurus in the summer and can look very beach-worthy. Browns, greens, blues and tan look great against your skin and give the impression that one’s skin is tanner than it is. You’d do yourself justice by buying in the same color family because you keep your clothing for some time and become attached to certain pieces. If you buy in one color palette you can be sure to match from season to season and not have to change out your wardrobe from year to year. Lastly, Taurus needs to clean out their closet from time to time because they love to keep older clothes so why not clean out your closet this season and try to replace your favorite pieces with something new? You can usually find something classic from year to year so replacing your older clothing can be easier than you think while giving your wardrobe a needed shot in the arm. If you have long hair the important thing is to change up the way you wear it from time to time and the side ponytail is a classy choice and looks great on anyone! I like a scarf with a side ponytail and think about cotton scarves that are made very thin and in bright colors to make things pop! The face of a Taurus should be healthy and happy and you look fantastic with a dot of crème blush in the summer! Whether you use a foundation or not you look great with a dot of crème blush at the apples of your cheeks and this looks great at any age. The idea of “Goth” faces with only foundation and whiteout powder mean bad impressions and even worse photos so do yourself a favor and go for the “pretty” that suits Taurus so well! Venus is Taurus and you want to convey that with your face make up. A dot of colored lipstick that you use your finger to coat your lips with or a lipstick brush to brush it on looks great on you too and remember that the colors that are most pretty this season for summer are orange and pink. If your clothing and will support orange lipstick it’s a great choice and one that looks very new not to mention it adds a pop of color that is like no other. I always keep a great orange lipstick for summer because of my heavy 2nd house! Lip gloss is not so popular as lipstick these days and there are bonuses for wearing lipstick colors that are blotted. Lipstick lasts longer and does not get caught in your hair when you turn your head! There are a lot of colors available in lipstick and the color stays more true than with lip gloss. Gone are the days of slopped on lip gloss! You can shop your favorite company for lipstick but I always like to advise that you visit a makeup counter and ask the clerk what shades they recommend for you because they match lipstick all day and know much about it if they have been on the job for awhile! There are professionals at the counters of most makeup lines that make their day working with color so it pays to see what they might have to say. In the end you must choose the color that suits your personality best and no one knows you like yourself so make the final decision yourself in the area of lipstick. There is no telling what color will bring out your “pretty” until you find it so explore! Getting into a rut is what Taurus has to look out for when it comes to their “look” so no matter how you have to do it to make yourself comfy, go ahead and shop!

Gemini:
No one rocks accessories quite like the person dressing for Gemini! A master of disguise and great at taking on character, a Gemini can really look great when sporting just about any accessory! Scarves, jewelry, belts and the like are great for you to change it up and start looking like summer. Try belting your clothes at the waist to really pick things up and don’t think you have to be thin to belt at the waist because a belted waist is slimming a pulls it all together. You can make a summer dress look more professional by belting it with the right belt at the waist and throwing on a jacket with it while taking the same dress, removing the belt and the jacket and adding jewelry to make you ready for an evening date in the summer. Master the use of accessories to change it up and remember that you can also throw on a tan as easily as you can throw on a piece of clothing.

Gemini can wear prints well and I like them in floral prints that are mixed with one print worn as a skirt and one as a top! All you need to do is match the same base color and you can mix floral prints easily while adding outfits to your wardrobe by matching these items you may have not thought of wearing together. You might go shopping for extra tops for your bottoms and I believe in buying at least three tops for every bottom piece you purchase to get the most wear and have plenty of changes from every bottom item. Try changing the look of pants whether they be parachute pants, capri pants or jeans by adding different looks on top. You can use the same pant or skirt and change the top to striped to get the prep look on or change the top to ethnic to get a whole new and interesting look. Because Gemini can wear so many looks it makes them happy to have choices so be sure to collect those items that give you choices and don’t think inside the box in any way!

Jewelry can change the look of a dress of top if you move from chunky to delicate depending on the day. I also love Gemini in layered necklaces because it is a conversation starter to wear more than one long necklace and adding a shorter necklace to top the look off! You can also layer bracelets well and Gemini has expressive hands so rings and bracelets serve them well and should be collected! This summer it looks new to wear those jewelry pieces that look homemade or are crafty and many Gemini are crafty in their own right and can create pieces themselves! Gemini needs a way to organize their closets so that the accessories that make or break their outfits have a place to go and can be found easily. When one is dressing for Gemini try finding characters that make you smile and emulate them with what you wear to have a great day everyday!

Gemini eyes are expressive and quicksilver and fun to watch so having them sparkle is the way to go. If you dress for Gemini you should try the new summer makeup colors for eyes that are a bit different but look smashing when on has the character to rock them! Oranges and yellows in eye shadow are popular now and look great against tanned skin. You should apply these new colors only on the bottom half of your eye and leave the rest of the eye bare. Staying light and thinking “watercolors” you can have your eyes leap out and give them the interest they deserve by changing up your shadow. Add mascara but never use a full set of false eyelashes because it makes it look like your eye is too heavy to open and opt instead for single lashes if you are a fan of false eyelashes. Gemini can get away with some fun thing when using makeup and any time is the time to try them! Go for a faux fan and stay out of the sun without a strong sun screen to have the perfect Gemini face that looks ready to have a conversation at any time. Drawing the eye into your face is the idea so use some makeup and if you go for lips instead of eye makeup try boosting your lip color up a couple notches with the new bright summer lip colors. Your lips are also a place to draw the eye because you are such a great conversationalist so think about trying bright lip colors but remember that the new lipsticks are more of a wash than a deep and thick pigment. You do want the color to show on your lips so try lining your lips well and filling in the lip with liner to keep the lipstick on and true. Use a brush to finish your lipstick so it stays on longer and looks perfect. If you have a strong eye go easy on the lips and opt for nude colors and if you go for a strong lip keep your eyes simple and stay with a coat of mascara.

I love a Gemini with great skin so remember that exfoliating your skin is important and so is using a good skin care line. If you have questions as far as skin problems don’t hesitate to post them for ideas but the idea is to find a skincare line that cleans and exfoliates as well as moisturizes no matter how oily you may feel your skin is. We all need a bit of moisturer on our skin especially in the summer so you want a moisturizer that does the job. If you are a bit older you may find that your skin is dryer and that is the time to pump up your moisture and really give your skin what it is craving. If you are younger and still have breakouts or if you are older and are still breaking out there are great products on the market to keep this under control and help you show lovely skin when your eyes are twinkling! I love the Gemini type has expressive eyes and an open face that is ready with a quip or comment and to get that look remember to use face products that work and make up to enhance your features. Even if you are not the type to want to slave over your face daily you can find a few steps to take to show off your best features and put you in your best light. It is never a waste of time to put a bit of effort into your look because it makes you more confident and even opens you up to people who comment on how great you look! Think about eyes and lips for summer and pick one to really show off.

The new pixie haircut reminds me of the Gemini type. If you are the Gemini type you might love the cut as well. It looks great with a swatch of longer hair on top to style and sweep left or right while adding texture to the area. I love the look on just about anyone because the long top makes the cut flattering on just about anyone. You have a “place to hide” with the longer top but show the collar bone and other areas of skin for summer with the pixie look. Also, the Gemini type is a great pixie-type person with such a great personality! To decide if you can pull off the pixie lift your hair up in the back while leaving the top down and see if you like yourself in that sort of look. You may surprise yourself by seeing how sexy the pixie can be because again, it shows body parts off that are hidden by long hair. You can impersonate the pixie by tying your long hair back to the side and putting a bit of curl there in the hair that lays on your shoulder. Keep the hair loose when you pull the ponytail so you have a sort of short look on top and show your body off a bit while still keeping your long hair. The hair that hangs looks great in the summer with a bit of curl or texture so use your products to get a great wavy look in your hair if it’s long. You can leave your hair down and apply a wax or texture crème to the long strands while it’s wet and let it dry naturally for a beach look that always pleases in the hot weather. The dresses for summer are bare on top so it looks great to paint or spray on a tan and pull your long hair back loosely. If you don’t like to put on a more permanent tan try using a bronzer powder on your breast bone and face to look tan and a bit shimmery but avoid the metallic look that is too shiny and looks fake. A bronzer should have a bit of shimmer but only a bit because too much shimmer looks very fake and can age skin by making it look old. Nothing looks worse than skin that is tan but has no moisture so make sure you care for your skin when you fake a tan or use a tanning product on it. The new colors I spoke of for makeup look great with a tan so a bronzer would be a great buy for the season. Remember that getting just a bit of color is better than a large amount so go sparingly with your bronzer and think about looking real and warm instead of dark and shiny!

Your hair is a great accessory if you are the Gemini type dresser so try using a scarf to tie your hair or wearing some long drop earrings with your hair when it’s tied back or cut short. Adding some hair ornaments looks great in the summer when people tie it back and it looks best that way so try to find some great hair clips and other hair accessories but stay age appropriate when you wear “hair candy!” Finishing your hair with a hairspray is a good idea in the summer when hair can by “flyaway” or have frizzes so ask your hairdresser or post to find a hairspray that adds a bit of moisture but holds very well because a good hold is important in the summer months.
