A friend of mine is having a hard time these days, transit-wise. His Capricorn and Cancer planets are being smacked by almost everything in the current sky, and he reports to feeling depressed, heavy, slug-like. Listening to all this, my ample Virgo ( including Virgo Rising and Moon) kicked in. I told him to get out of the house.
Well, actually, the first thing I did was ask if he had left the house today at all (he works from home) and I told him: you can’t just stay home with THESE transits and let them roll over you, flatten you, smash you. You have a body, and Mars/Pluto/Uranus demands that you use your body to your benefit or… else.
And yes the transits will pass; they always do. But then there will be new transits with new moods and new strategies and it starts all over again. The saying goes: where there’s life, there’s hope. So, where there’s life, there’s a transit wanting to corner you. Or liberate you. Or both, depending.
With every transit comes a choice, even if we don’t like the choice(s), even when it seems like we have no choice. It can be subtle. A nuance. “Climb a mountain,” I told him. A small one. Meaning: direct the energy, use it. Somehow.

I’m being really good about physical exercise and lots of serious long walks. It’s kind of hard to sleep despite limiting my caffeine the last few months. I am keeping as conscious as I can because I am getting squared and opposed something crazy. My lips are not flapping due to extreme Mercury madness. It’s tiring all right. And so far I have no clue what if anything will come out alive at the other side but I’m truckin on through.
your friend is like me- was sooo depressed ever since that darn Merc went retro- today I feel better but now my back went out.. Hoping Reiki tomorrow will make it feel better and to make matters worse.. its been raining like crazy here!
I work at home and sometimes don’t leave the house for 5 days at a time which is nuts… so how I would love to do this, now my back is making me stay home.

I think the worst part about getting slammed is that physical sensation of being stuck. Having fun and going out to play seem like quaint, archaic notions under those circumstances, but of course that’s just the loop in my head… ugh
Massage helps me. Haven’t tried Reiki, I’ll have to check that out.
I am very much like your friend. the fiery stellium, is being heavily resisted by lots of mutable water in my case,natally. I have left the house like ten times since december… even the mall seems like a was zone. The problem with how Saturn in libra is affecting me. well it falls in my 7th. so people are a bit of a challenge for me right now. all of them.

l think you said the right thing to your frind l agree, there is always something in the sky making an aspect. l guess we can only learn from the harder transits.
If you don’t fight it and just go with the flow it’s easyer to deal with things l find, so that’s what l do. When our ego gets in the way because we feel we have to do things etc, things can get frustrating. The Leo moon in transitting 12th house and l feel like doing nothing at all..wich is fine. There is a time for everything. l don’t stress about it. There are hard and easy transits not good or bad and we have to joggle those energies

Ha – people are always a challenge for me! I’ve been filled with energy lately, also can’t sleep. Too much energy maybe. I have Cancer sun merc mars so am being similarly as my friend but w/o the Capricorn part. But when you know someone, you begin to know, or think you know, the bottom line of the situation
Yeah I think many of us are holding our breath until Taurus takes over! Who knew? Even though we’ll be dealing with Uranus in Aries for years to come.
so true! my sun and merc are also in cancer. i dont really mind uranus in my first house so much but its the only planet i seem to have a direct line to. jupiter will be moving to taurus, my natal jupiter, this year. which i hope will be a happy time.yay! but even though i have bn hiding out, i am having sum fun time with my natal pluto in scorpio in the 8th.
I have Capricorn and Libra Planets and things are hitting me hard! So I am using this energy to structure my life with a dash beautiful balance. Also there is a lot of letting go???
Very wise words. Couldn’t agree more. Been forced to reassess my whole life too, as the Saturn Jupiter opposition has been hitting my ascendant axis and Pluto my IC. Had some ugly situations, but my hurried (overdue) decision to move house now fills me with excitement and a new business opportunity to do the work I always felt destined to do may well become reality as I move.
Just to add, if you don’t act when those big transits from Saturn and Pluto come knocking on your door, then they will break the door down for you!!
@Paul, I agree with you — Saturn in Virgo (conjuncting my natal moon and pluto, with t-Uranus opposing it)definitely broke down the door. The end result was miraculous but the transit was nasty.

Okay so far, I’m pretty pumped and full of energy and am doing stuff. I like it!
I too feel absolutely sluggish and heavy; I’m finding it very hard to summon up any physical energy at all. I’d hoped the Aries stellium would galvanise me but instead, it seems to have paralysed me! With three planets + Chiron and Juno in Libra, two planets in Cancer and three planets plus Ceres and Vesta, Eros and Amor, all in Cap, I’m in self-protective survival mode.
I’m not going out at all as I’m feeling very over-sensitive right now; I decided against my planned trip to the city this week. I make sure I do a little of what needs doing in the house and/or garden each day, to keep up morale, and I’ll just try to survive this thing til the sunny days return
Count me in to the camp of being sluggish!! It feels worse than that – I’m exhausted most of the time, and very shaky when I’m up and doing things. I’m glad when I’m able to take care of the horses and walk the dogs. There are times in my days where I just want to sit down and cry I’m so tired. I have friends feeling this intensively as well. Hoping the Full Moon will bring some relief!
