I have three planets in the 11th House, including my Sun, so this is a house I think about a lot since I think about myself (my Sun) a lot! The houses are my favorite part of astrology. I love the lists of associations for each, the more random the better. It’s like poetry.
I remember learning that the 11th House (among other things) has to do with our “fondest hopes and dreams” and I definitely do have dreams, big dreams. They often feel like impossible dreams and when one of them comes true? Wow. The heavens part. My dreams often feel so very out of reach. Really? I can live in a quiet apartment? Really? I can make a decent living? Really? I don’t suck? Really? Somebody loves me?
Big desire, big dreams: Jupiter squares my 11th House Cancer stellium. And with my Moon (conjunct Pluto) being the ruler of my 11th, my dreams tend to die… and then live again.
But here’s my question: When does it finally stick, if ever? Does the striving end? When do dreams come true for good? For 11th Housers, I have a feeling that the striving never ends. We get dream upon dream upon dream. Maybe everyone is this way. What do you think?

I have big dreams, too! I don’t have any planets in the 11th, but I have Jupiter in Aquarius

I have 3 planets in the 11th house, Mercury, Sun and Uranus. I dream, they are all unconventional and it is all in Sag. Or maybe they are idealistic.
Yes I dream everyday, and sometimes they come true. But once that dream has been completed I dream of more.
Sag Sun sextile Libra Midheaven. Is that astrology?
@Orlando – maybe the ones who don’t dream are the ones who have given up somehow. And maybe it’s not a bad thing. Something like acceptance of the way things are.
I’m one of the much maligned Pluto in Leo generation and that’s it for my 11th house. My biggest dream is that by each one of us being our best authentic selves we can work together to make positive contributions for the betterment of all on this planet. (Okay, Jupiter cj Uranus in the 10th Cancer and a child of the 60′s.) Flower Power!
Yes. Really. To all of the above, and more. My Sagittarian advice: do with your dreams what you should do with everything else in life: go large or go home.

Oh Yes! Like you Luna I’m one of the Leoness in Pluto generation. I dream big, dream often and know the dreams never stop because I was born for this. Over and over again, the magic and the ground mix-it-up in DreamTime. I have Venus and Jupiter conj in the 11th House and that pair trines the Pluto in Leo over there … it’s a good chord they strike and a + aspect I count on almost as much, and sometimes more that I count on the moon.

I have a stellium in the 11th, so yes, I definitely have lots of dreams and hopes. I honestly don’t know how I’d ever get anywhere or accomplish anything without them. They’re just as essential as drive and tenacity to meeting my goals/ambitions. I know a few people who don’t have hopes or dreams or have very little. I honestly feel sorry for these people and I don’t know how they make it through the day. Nothing would compel me to do very much with my life if I didn’t have hopes and dreams. And that’s whether it’s an esoteric goal like living in a kinder, gentler, more tolerant society or a more worldly dreams/hopes/ambitions like supporting myself in my chosen field and not living paycheck to paycheck.
Oh yes. Venus in the 11th square Uranus, so I dream about Utopian love. I’ll forever dream about love, no matter what. It feels like a personality flaw at times though, because I have a lot of love in my life already.
Yes, always. Under equal house, I have five planets in my 11th house. I dream nonstop.. I can constantly see myself in different paths which is somewhat a bonus but my downfall because my inability to stick one path.
