I think and write a lot about Venus in the 12th House because I have this placement, and the other night I was talking to a friend who described a 12th House Venus as “sexy.” I was shocked! Say what you will about Venus 12, but sexy is hardly in the Top 20 Adjectives to describe it, or so I thought. Was he privy to… secret information? It was late at night so we had to hang up but this idea stuck in my mind. What could he possibly mean? How could the house of JAIL be hot? Except maybe in B-Movies. But then maybe he finds secrecy exciting. Escape. Hidden affairs. Hidden MONEY. Or he gets off on Piscean Universal Love, Neptunian transcendence. I won’t know until we talk again.
And I have to admit, in my experience, Venus 12 people are just as attractive and alluring as anyone else. They just don’t BELIEVE that they are. And this crisis *will* affect their behavior. Venus in the 12th House not only feels invisible but *is* invisible to some degree. Good thing that love is blind

hmmm, before i read the responses i was thinking, nah, venus in aries in the 7th …not sexy…but caroline has me thinking….well, let’s say, not sexy in a subtle way!!

Venus in virgo 6th house here (sensual sign, imo) semisextile uranus in libra 7th house, venus ruled, exact. I definately think i project something feminine. I seem to attract two extremes…. very masculine confidant men or very passive feminine, emotionally vulnerable, sensitive types. Both have been veryyyyy passionate!!!! My sun is conjunct venus too.

I can be quite seductive when I wanna be tho!
I have Gemini Venus 11h. I can turn it on, but I tend toward keeping it toned down. When I was a kid, between the ages of 10 & 15, Mars was afflicting my Venus I’ve been told, and I was surrounded by all kinds of horny – men & boys!! I was just a plain ordinary kid, and it didn’t matter. I was perceived as determined by Mars-Venus.
People don’t think a Cap Venus is sexy unless they’ve got one (in either sense of ‘got’ lol). I’ve usually been considered sexy – very sexy – although some people don’t ‘get it’. Those that do, really do.
My Venus has added sexiness since it opposes my Mars – lots of oscillation there – and trines my Moon, and best of all it’s exactly conjunct my Vesta. Sex is sacred, maaaaan! – and so is lurve.
Oh and it’s in H5 conjunct my Sun – the House of Pleasure…
moonpluto, I know someone with a 12th house Venus too. Scorpio Venus, I might add! Definitely sexy! And yet she has no idea herself. She keeps talking about how she has no charm. Dead wrong, she has an abundance of charm, both men and women can sense it. I can clearly see how many people are drawn to her and find her sexy. But since it’s in 12th, she is the only one who doesn’t realize it while it’s obvious to everyone else.

Venus in Libra in 12th. My perception of myself seems to differ from those around me. I have always been a tomboy and relate to men and women in an unpretentious, immediate and friendly manner. However, it appears that I leave a trail of broken hearts and unrequited loves behind. I simply do not see myself as attractive let alone sexy so remain blind to romantic overtures.

I have Venus in Gemini in the 8th, square Mars, conjunct Moon, trine Pluto, inconjunct Uranus/asc. I hardly ever feel that I’m sexy (although it has happened), but I’ve been told that I am. When I feel comfortable with someone, I can turn things up a notch with a little wordplay, or by throwing something out there, not so innocently, to get the imagination going. I did that to a Taurus on Valentine’s Day, when we were bantering a bit on whether or not I could get him to read a specific kind of book (that isn’t really my sort of thing either). I threw out an example of what could be found in such a book, and the mood (his mood) instantly changed, LOL.
@Joanna, I’ve got Venus in Leo/12. It squares Neptune and Saturn. Also has a sextile to Jupiter. No major aspects to personal planets.

To balance my boasting of “sexiness” I have to confess to having my heart broken, as well. Recipients of my romantic ardour simply did not realise or did not notice me. Sadly, I have been known to carry such unhealthy obsession(s) with oblivious objets d’amour for many many MANY months. A clear sign of Venus in 12th invisibility.
