The Moon leaves Capricorn for Aquarius early in the morning (US). Things lighten up considerably as the Moon is supported by Jupiter in Aries.
Note that Uranus will leave Pisces in ten days and not be back in the sign for 84 years. We’ll also lose the mutual reception between Uranus and Neptune at this time so if you were ever going to awaken your intuition and/or your compassion for others, now is the time.

I was 25. My progressed moon was in Libra. I planned the biggest blowout party of my whole party planning life. Chinese New Year at the infamous House on Fry Street. I also fell in love.
About 6 months earlier, TK and I parted ways. He stayed in the apartment and I moved out to go back to school. I answered an ad on Craigslist. “Big house looking for a roommate who doesn’t suck.” Everyone there was younger than me, but they only wanted $200 for a huge upstairs room. I took it.

I am terrible about meditating. Maybe you’d say, "Who cares?" And maybe you’d be right, that nobody (else) particularly does. But I pushing it aside doesn’t do me much good. If I want the benefits, like a cleaner flow of information, a deeper connection to the divine, meditation is invaluable.
So why don’t I do more of it? Because I’m not that good at it. And why am I not that good at it? Because I don’t do more of it!

Progressed Moon in Virgo – Compulsive Finger Counting

Talking about the sign of the progressed moon on the boards today. Some people mentioned being miserable in Virgo. Well, not so much miserable, but uncomfortable. Need to be correct in my representation for Virgo’s Sake!
The other day I was thinking about my own experiences under the progressed Virgo moon. I briefly mentioned it here.
My progressed moon was in Virgo when I was 24. That was the year I started counting the hours. I was working at a coffee shop and consistently picking up shifts for anyone who asked. I didn’t see it as me doing them a favor. I saw it as them giving me more money, but I was also not ignorant to the fact that I came out looking helpful.

Astrology Today: February 28, 2011 – Status – The Haves And The Have-nots
My eye on the sky.
The Moon conjuncts Venus in Capricorn. It’s gross to say, but status is conferred with this conjunction. People are divided into the haves and the have-nots around love and/or money.
It’s complicated though. A person can have money and a number of people who love them, appearing to be a “have”. But if they feel no love themselves, they’re more a “have-not”.

Gossip used to be a hot topic around here a few years back. (tag – gossip) Not so much lately but this post about Sexual Rumors got my attention. That poor girl.
I don’t like to gossip. It’s a 3rd house thing where my focus is on the 9th. I like big, broad ideas that are published out in the open, not little whispers, tiny lies and what becomes a game of Chinese Whispers aka Telephone.
That said, I am a frequent target of gossipers. My ears are burning all the time and occasionally someone tells me they heard I had three noses, four arms and a tail.

Astrology Meets Tarot!
When I mentioned in amazement I didn’t have ANY Tarot decks on my wishlist, Xenia stepped in to rectify that and got me hooked up with a the Morgan-Greer Tarot. Thanks, Xenia!
Morgan-Greer is a Rider-Waite-Smith clone from 1979. The artwork reminds me a lot of the Aquarian Tarot, if it were done with bold coloring instead of pastels. It’s indeed a lovely deck.
