This Sunday, 6:30PM EST, Heinz Field. The Steelers and the Jets face off to determine who will go to the Super Bowl.

I thought it would be fun to take a quick look at the game day and see what’s happening transit wise with each team’s quarterback.

Even if the game starts a little late, Leo will still be rising at the beginning. Expect some showboating. It’s the same day as the Packers/Bears game I talked about yesterday but by 6pm the Mars/Sun conjunction will have dipped below the horizon. I’m thinking the fans will be a little more subdued. An hour into the game Neptune/Chiron will drop below the horizon as the moon moves into Libra opposing Jupiter/Uranus. Perhaps we will see a big game changing injury amidst the confusion. As Virgo rises the only thing left in the public eye is Jupiter/Uranus. I’m thinking we’ll see some extra long passes and a surprise twist ending. Someone call M. Knight Shyamalan.

I don’t have birth times for the players, so these are noon charts. Mark Sanchez has a teenie-tiny slight chance of having an Aries moon which just might be the case but probably has a Pisces Moon (statistically speaking.) Ben Roethlisberger still gets a Gemini moon at all hours.

Ben Roethlisberger – First Impressions

Pisces Sun trine Jupiter makes for one of those great big fish. He’s an intuitive player who’s been around enough incarnations to do it in his sleep. Possible grand air trine which I envision as little gears always turning in the brain. Even without the grand trine, still lots of air. Mars, Saturn, Pluto; all retrograde, conjunct in Libra. That’s a time bomb waiting to go off and it’s square his Venus. He’s got repressed rage that he channels through his… rhymes with Venus.

Transits

Saturn is transiting his Mars which means he’s got to be serious about how he conducts himself or face restrictions. Saturn is setting up to iron out that whole complex he has in Libra as part of his Saturn return. He is either going to take his place as an authority or get handed over to the authorities. Sun/Mars are separating from conjunction with his Venus and headed toward a square to his Jupiter. Over confidence may cause him to under estimate the opponent.

Mark Sanchez – First Impressions

Scorpio stellium tries to psych out the other guy with a carefully honed pointed stare. Pluto/Venus plus Sun/Mercury sandwiched together gives an artistic sensibility that seeks to cultivate subtlety and finesse. But square Mars doesn’t always pull it off without some jagged edges. Jupiter square Saturn has some big ideas but is bound by a higher up to stick with what works.

Transits

If I could only choose one to see the birth time, this is the one I would want to see. No major transits going on that we can see without a time. I would love to see the angles on this one. The only biggie might be Jupiter/Uranus to his moon, but we can’t say if it is applying, separating or already over. Smaller transient influences include Venus leaving a square with Jupiter and heading toward a conjunction with his Uranus. He may surprise us.
