Astrology Today: December 1, 2010 – (Not) Falling Prey To Fear
My eye on the sky
Emotions stabilize as the Moon in Libra stabilizes conjuncts Saturn. Hard to say if this is good or otherwise because some people are going to stabilize at a low point.
Mercury moves into Capricorn today forming a conjunction with Pluto.
Expect “reality” to hit home one way or the other. Not that this has to be negative.
With hearts and minds in the real world, much can be accomplished by anyone who does not fall prey to fear.

I was thinking today of one of Aesop’s fables, The North Wind and the Sun. The North Wind and the Sun had a contest to determine who was more powerful. They saw a traveler wearing a heavy cloak and decided that whomever could impel him to remove his cloak was the winner of the challenge. The North Wind blew with all his might and the traveler only pulled his cloak closer. The Sun shone on him with such intensity that he became warm and threw off his covering. The supposed moral of the story is that persuasion is more powerful than force.

Transit Reports… Problems With Delivery?

CArRiE linked an old post about my life long friend, Leon for her pick of the day. Leon is a Libra but he has his Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in Scorpio. My friend, Ben is a Scorpio and my husband has Moon, Neptune in Scorpio and all three of these men told me I could write anything I damned wanted to about them with very few rules.

Leon – no picture
My husband – no picture / no name

A lot of people are unnerved right now. Fear is a Saturn-ruled phenomena and if you’re feeling afraid you can change your circumstance on a dime by using that energy in a positive way.
As an example, I had a client yesterday who had a number of concerns. She was specifically concerned she was sabotaging her life which I know many people can relate to. I suggested she let go of all that and commit to making this her best, Christmas ever. Never mind what is dogging you, take that on as a job.
Can you see a way to turn your fears to something productive? How can your own commitment support you?
