I got a note (snail mail) from my oldest sister today, it was a trip.  What else would contact from a double Sadge with Mercury in Sadge be but a TRIP?

But it was a time travel thing because her handwriting has not changed since I was 11 which was how old I was when she left home.  She used to have pen-pals which is interesting in hindsight.

Now we write to people around the world. Back then to write a stranger in another state was not that usual, especially for kids isolated in the desert but my sister maintained relationships with several pen pals for years.

I recognized her writing and realized my lack on this front. I mentioned it to satori who said she also had very distinctive writing.

I explained I did not have any writing, I was dependent on a keyboard these days but besides that, I never really learned to write…  cursive.

Back when I was a kid, they taught you to print in first grade and to write cursive in second grade. I skipped second grade and they knew they were going to do this so tried to teach me to write cursive, quickly (Mars Mercury), during the second half of second grade but the fact is, I was a younger and just didn’t have the motor skills.  I started 3rd grade when I was 6 and that was that, no more writing lessons.

Besides the handwriting, the note displays other stylistic things that are completely recognizable.  It’s just beyond strange. I was curious to see how she would sound and look (she is sending pics) after 20 years but instead I got transported back to my childhood home and that right there is the Jupiter Uranus transit to my Moon.

One more thing – she said she would get something in the mail and so did I.  I got her first communication today and I expect she got mine.  People in my family do what they say they are going to do.  I think this is a great trait.  It’s reliability + honesty.
