Double Rainbow Update: Confirmed! Neptune Conjunct Moon
What does it Meme
A couple months ago, I wrote to Paul Vasquez, the guy who saw the Double Rainbow, and asked him if I could take a look at his chart.

He didn’t have an exact birth time and gave me a round about guess. Anyway, as a result of his sudden fame, he has had to travel quite a bit and had to obtain a copy of his birth certificate. He contacted me recently with the correct time. So, here it is, the official Yosemitebear chart. Transits for July 4th, the day his video exploded are included. You can click on the chart for a larger version.
A few notes about the new chart:
The first thing I notice is Jupiter/Chiron in Pisces conjunct the mid-heaven. This seems to fit with Mr. Bear’s image and mission. At one time he weighed in at over 400 pounds. He is now in chronic pain from the effect of carrying around all that extra weight. Now, living off his piece of land outside Yosemite, he plans to open a healing center where people can come on a pay as you can basis to learn about living off the land.
The Neptune conjunct Moon aspect is tighter. In the previous article I had a sense that we were dealing with a Neptune/Moon conjunction. This is now close enough to be considered official.
Also, notice that Mars is in the first house. When his weight gain began to threaten his life, Bear took up cage fighting to get in shape. Mars in the first is a fighter.
Currently, he is campaigning for Oprah to feature him on her show, now in its final season. He wants to spread his message of healthy eating, sustainable living and reverence for nature. It might not be the case. I have a Neptune-Moon conjunction myself and I’ve often had to explain that no, I’m not on drugs, and yes, I’m more or less always like this.
but then again, that might really be the case with him…
Grand Water Trine, with Mars, Neptune, and that Chiron/Jupiter conj. Very interesting. I think that would turn up the dreaminess a bit. I would also wonder if he’s got any intuition/psychic-stuff going on with that huge Neptune influence.
I love that Pluto/Sun conjunction–here’s a person with strength.
Is that a Kite?? I don’t know much about them, just sort of jumping out there. Maybe someone with more experience can comment on that… *all.ears*

I’m not surprised he reacted so strongly to such a grand natural phenomenon: he lives in that landscape and when you live in close contact with the earth and sky like that, within such grandeur, it totally opens you to extraordinary sensitory experience – nature and the landscape itself actually ‘sensitizes’ people, imo. Most people who’ve lived in the desert or the mountains for example, share such out of the normal perceptions.
I’ve always been transcendentally excited by spectacular rainbows by the way, evne since I was a child – if I’m driving I have to stop the car as I CANNOT take my eyes off them, and I get very psyched up. My chart may be mostly earth but I do have a trine between Pluto/Neptune/Uranus!
I read the other thread and it struck me btw that people are a bit quick to pigeon hole others into their supposed Sun Sign character! – I know many earth sign people with mystic or transcendental understanding, inc Caps and Tauri and Virgoans. On the other hand the only two or three Pisces people I know well are very materialistic and appear to have no mystical side to them whatever! – all are city dwellers
On the other hand one of my favourite artists is a Taurus. His paintings – which often contain rainbows – are quite other-worldly: apparently based on nothing but meticulous observation of people and the natural world, there is always however “something else” going on there which can’t be seen and which has some hint of occult meaning… I don’t want to put his name here for google search reasons but I’m happy to pm it to anyone who is interested, so message me if you are.
Since you have the full birth data, Nota, can you post the progressed chart for when the video went viral?
