Things are smoothed out with Moon in Virgo in easy aspect to Pluto and planets in Scorpio though there are some problematic spots.

Fights may erupt over ideas and/or ideology.  This is a conflict between precision and approaches that are broad and/or vague.

Bullet to the heart (pointed) or breathe toxic gas (gaslighting)?

Hmm.

Demystifying Astrology: Prejudice ‘Round The Zodiac

October 31st, 2010 @ 9:00 am by Elsa

Astrology for beginners – See all beginner posts

You’ll never be able to really read a chart unless you overcome your prejudice. You have to be able to look at the whole which is akin to standing in front of a mirror, naked.

Now people have their bias but when reading a chart you must transcend this so the symbols can speak to you. To illustrate, it is very common people deny part of their chart and they have all kinds of hinky ways they do it.

Border Shore Patrol. By The Virgo Avenger

October 31st, 2010 @ 7:20 am by Virgo Avenger

Just a male Virgo’s point of view; # Thirty-Six

Back when I was an E-5 in the Navy, and I was waiting for my next ship assignment, an opening came up for TDY orders to the Border (TDY, temporary duty). It was a 6 month assignment to the San Ysidro, Tijuana Point of Entry.

The uniform was our “Johnny Cash”.  This was the black slacks, black button up long sleeve shirt with a black tie, badge and gun belt.

We had an office in the U.S. Customs side of the building, with three desks and two jail cells. Our job was to control, apprehend, or detain military personnel at the crossing, both pedestrian and vehicle.

Dixie’s Daily Tarot, October 31, 2010: Using Symbolism to Learn Tarot

October 31st, 2010 @ 5:03 am by Dixie

Astrology Meets Tarot

One of the most off-putting aspects for would-be Tarot readers is trying to memorize the definitions of all those cards! It doesn’t take long to hit overwhelm mode. This video explores using symbolism as a basis to approach the cards, not only to simplify the process of learning, but to add freshness and depth for even very experienced readers.

Venus Square Neptune: Beware The Chronically Disillusioned

October 30th, 2010 @ 5:13 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

neptune barbieVenus is retrograde in Scorpio and will hit Libra next week. It will also form a square to Neptune and we’ll see people disillusioned in droves.

I have Venus square Neptune natally. There is no end to the manifestations and problems associated but if there is one thing to keep in mind when you are dealing with a square (and your life in general) it’s this: Whatever is happening in your life, YOU are most certainly involved.

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus: Sudden Improvement – Revolutionize Your Life!

October 30th, 2010 @ 9:46 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

From a consult:

“I think it’s just energy so neutral until directed. I don’t doubt that you have had it directed in a negative way but I do think going over and over that is not your best tack. Clearly when you are doing something wrong, the thing to do is stop and if you are going to stop, you may as well stop now, on a dime. If you manage that, you can see it is more productive to go forward and not do the thing as opposed to going back and back to hash it over and over.”

Hmmn, Mercury in Libra by Nota

October 30th, 2010 @ 8:16 am by Nota

Planets in Placements

I’ve read accounts of Mercury in Libra as nicey-nice wafflers who want nothing more than to smooth out arguments and keep the peace.  I’m going to have to disagree.

If Mercury in Libra tries to mediate your argument it has nothing to do with wanting everyone to get along.  No, this Mercury is thinking “Hot damn, a debate! How can I get in on the disagreeing without taking a side that’s already taken…I know…I’ll disagree with the argument itself.”  See, making peace is an opposing reaction to the whole thing.  Trust me, as soon as everyone is all settled down, guess who’s gonna pop up with something polarizing like  ”How ’bout those gun laws?”

Bad Boy High School Days. By The Virgo Avenger

October 30th, 2010 @ 7:10 am by Virgo Avenger

Just a male Virgo’s point of view; # Thirty-Five

I was not perfect in High School. I was having my typical teenage rebellion, although not as bad as some I’ve seen, and maybe not as bad as some of you……..

As a Sophomore, I began to smoke pot, not a lot, and I never did anything else.  We lived in a small town, population at the time was about 14,700, there was never any thing to do except “Hang” at the 7-eleven, or at someone’s house.

Dixie’s Daily Tarot, October 30, 2010: Unfinished Business

October 30th, 2010 @ 5:03 am by Dixie

Astrology Meets Tarot

hanged-man-invertedWell, heck. We’ve been talking about seeing doom around every corner, dealing with heartbreak, and moving on. Notice the trend here? Addressing difficult situations is evidently on the menu and we’re not quite done with the topic, says Tarot. Ignore what Tarot says at your own peril, says Dixie. Ha!

It’s not so bad, though, really. Because if you know how to weather the storms, you are set in inclement weather and sunshine alike. You have the tools, the strength, and the insight on hand, readily available to handle whatever life tosses your way. And that’s a good thing.
