I was talking to Annalisa the other day, in very bad experience in my life. She got that Sadge Moon conjunct Jupiter so very much likes to offer her perspective which invariably has value.
She said that her Sadge watched my Leo (Venus) heart; that she liked Leo. She thinks Leo leads with their heart but their heart is innocent which makes sense seeing as Leo and the 5th house are associated with children. Mine is a child’s heart, is what I took her to mean and at this particular time, I crossed paths with a dark heart.
“You always lead with your heart,” she explained before elaborating around how much I’d changed due this incident and it’s aftermath. “You still do everything with your heart leading but…”
She went on to say I has wised up considerably but while she was talking I thought of this blog.
I do lead with my heart. There is not a single post on this blog that did not come right from my heart. Everything I do – same thing, so here’s is my question:
What do you lead with? What is the first card you throw on the table?

my heart,
with 5 leo planets (including venus) couldn’t be any other way, despite being deeply hurt (scorpio moon) and angry… I eventually can be magnanimous now, earlier in my life, not so much, I would ‘amputate’ despite the pain it cost me, and the regrets.
This leo-ness, direct, sincere, naive keeps me child like in this regard and so I keep leading with my heart…
my mars in cancer in the 10..which usually follow my heart in pisces in the seven…and has brought me a lot of heartache…

I don’t know how natural it is or isn’t to me, but yes lead with the heart! I don’t want to ever leave this planet and feel like I didn’t lead by my heart. I want to love and be loved. Some people may not be ready for that, but I would rather throw it out there myself. If you’re on board, we’re on for a great ride, if not, I’m leaving you at the dock. One life and I’m going to live it up!
Yeah, I lead with my heart too Elsa. I don’t know what to put it down to though… the Pisces in my chart?
I’m torn, because I do my best to lead with my heart, expecting the best. But my gut is where my instinct lies. I’ve been damaged more than once by ignoring that shockwave that warns my heart I’m not going the right place. And then I’m ticked off the gut was right.
My Venus in Pisces is a deep well… I have Mars in Leo so heart is what tends to pull me first. If I ignore the little fish down in the well, I’m always sorry later… “Fish-gut” instincts are usually correct. Heart is a lovely trait that can lead us into fierce battles at times… I’m so Libra on this one… Hahaha! (Not a speck of Libra in my chart! 6th house empty of any planets in Libra, hmmmm)
Interesting question. I hadn’t really thought about it before. I’ve got Venus in Aries in the 6th, so I think that maybe there’s a childlike aspect to it, but there’s a more Marsy influence as well. Like I may lead with a childlike enthusiasm, more of an activeness verses a mushy heartness.?? Does that make sense?
Heh heh, my heart wants to lead, it’s true. Unless my stomach is going, “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING??!!” then my heart tends to quiver and back down, lol.

Trying to think about this. oh but should’nt “think”, I should just feel, no? If I lead with my heart. My Aries moon makes me do impulsive, child like(sometimes risky), speed lightning actions and feel rollercoaster emotions => but that is how I feel alive. But I definetly have some strong Mercury coming in (Mercury in 5th, in Gemini, Venus in Gemini, Jupiter and Moon in 3rd House (Aries)- and sometimes I lose confidence and start “thinking” too much. I think about the times as a child where I’d just follow my instincts (or is that the gutfeeling?) and things would just all fall into place, as they should be. Now, with learning and experience, I try to think and analyse more to avoid making same mistakes, but it doesn’t seem to be working!!
I lead with my skepticism. If that doesn’t win ‘em over, then my witty repartee has no shot in hell.

My Scorpio stuff can make me hard, and suspicious, but I start out being “real”. If I get a hard/negative response, than the Scorpio takes over, and just amputates.
