Transit Watch: New Moon In Virgo: September 8, 2010 – Clean Start Extraordinaire
My eye on the sky
The new moon in Virgo offers an excellent change for a clean start. It’s remarkable because the Sun and Moon (male and female) are conjunct at the same time Venus and Mars (male and female) are conjunct.
This has got to bode well for the feminine and the masculine coming together whether we’re talking about men and women in their physical bodies, or the yin and the yang that exists in each of us.
I also like that Virgo-ruler, Mercury is in it’s own sign. This is a strong placement, even though the planet is retrograde especially because the conjunction takes no hard aspects whatsoever.
Check the house in your chart where the new moon falls (15 degrees) Virgo and set your intention. Here are some ideas…

New Moon in the 6th – start a diet, clean the house, organize
New Moon in the 8th – Dump the psychological baggage / your obsessions

12th House – any idea?
OMG! thats when I have my interview to re-enrolled for my second year for college. I think it may fall in my 8th house! Difinately will dump the baggage I have too it’s my way forward in life!!!
New Moon in the 9th. What should I do? Plan a travel? This time of year it’s absolutely impossible

New Moon in 9th – resolve to expand your horizons ie make a short trip (Virgo) to eat healthy (Virgo) in a restaurant owned by foreigners (9th house).
Or.. resolve to think (Virgo) optimistically (9th).
The New Moon falls in my 12th house. My intention is to start a month-long dietary cleanse to clean out the body as well as the mind.

the New Moon will be in my 10th house…not very interesting goings on so far…but ideas are gearing up to organize, clean out my drawers etc in my office! And I do feel a renewed sense of sticking to my health regime coming on : )

In my 9th House…2nd day back at school…I’ll be starting the final studio courses for my BFA. My intention is to do better work than I ever have before…
Will be right over my venus in the 9th and I’m going road tripping around that time.

This New Moon falls on my 5th house. I’m not really sure what to make of this but I could use some improvement on my social life… Or bring more fun and creativity into my life… =)

Fourth House and I am already planning to spend the 3 day weekend (the weekend immediately before the new moon) finishing up the purge so I can spend another weekend finishing up the painting.
This year has been a lot about getting my house in order – and this massive conjunction under the new moon is the afterburner on it, I think.

Neato! It falls in my 7th house, and I hope it helps resolve/breathe new life into/end for good my relationship. My Sun and Moon are opposed, as are my Venus and Mars, so I’m looking forward to some action. I intend to straighten this thing out once and for all!
In my 10th house, literally on top of my Virgo MC (it’s at 16 Virgo in my chart). So I am guessing that a career clean-up and the public image clean-up is in order? Weird… I can’t really imagine it, I have a feeling that my career is the only thing really going well for me at the moment. I have to think about how to do it.

New moon in my 4th house conjunct with my natal moon. I am hoping that this means that I can sell my house. Maybe it means that I should clean my house (ugh).
New moon and Mercury both conjunct natal Pluto in the 10th.
This looks good to me. Seeing the windows of opportuntiy, and I’ve been hauling myself through them. Tend to take on too much, and I want to be more discriminating and work on my image. I am involved in some things I can be proud of, and hope that this time seeds a real legacy of good work I can leave to my children.
I intend to work on balance and efficiency in the process. Plan, plan plan. Amazing how things are coming into focus. Elsa told me to keep my eye on the horizon…
11th house….I guess it would oppose moon/jup. at 11 degress pisces. Sextile saturn 16 cancer.

1st House…smack between natal Uranus and Pluto. Aspecting all over the place. No idea what the intention should be, but given that placement, I’d love to know!
How do you figure out what house the new moon falls in now?
This new moon is conjunct my natal venus in the 3rd and mars/venus/eros is conjunct my natal sun in the 4th…my intention is being “ready” for the arrival of a NEW LOVE…for myself and for that seemingly elusive man(partner).
5th house. Creativity. Children of the mind and body. Romance.
This will happen in my 3rd house.. New beginning in my education and how I learn and study! Back to a new university session, to change and improve my learning techniques and a better mental attitude towards studies
1st house – a new me – and it has started already with the Sun’s entry into Virgo. So much energy after years of procrastination to implement the changes required to let me feel good and true to my essence. Like all the attachments upon me by others – genetic patterns, old work relationships, old habits – are now being made new / different / transformed / completed.
So, new inspirations and new life.

Hoe appropriate is this? It falls in the 6th house for me, and it’s just a few days after the kids go back to school. The house NEEDS a good deep cleaning, and with them all in school f/t now, I can actually get it done!
This New Moon is also conjunct Mercury and exactly trine the MC (15 Capricorn), so it’s a good sign for job searching. Nothing yet, but maybe I’ll get more leads and/or some interviews.

What, really?! I have that New Moon in Virgo in my Solar Return chart, in the SR chart’s 8th house! Alllll riiiight! I absolutely need to get rid of emotional/psychological baggage, it has eaten away at my soul so much. This excites me (so do all the other planets in my SR’s 8th house)!
It’ll be transiting my 5th house on that actual date. I’ll have to start some new fun on my birthday.

how do I get my charts?
This falls in my Virgo ruled 3rd House. Lots of changes to routine, everyday living and immediate environment. Good for my overall health and wellbeing! But not without it’s case of the jitters. Time to let go of the worry of going into the great unknown. Thanks Elsa, this really affirms I’m on a good path (though no one said it was going to be easy) =)

I recently heard someone say that this is an excellent time for a new start GIVEN the aspects in your chart dont afflict it.. What exactly does this mean and how do i figure out my own chart’s aspects/ new moon placement?
