Dixie Daily Tarot, August 24, 2010: Full Moon in Pisces Secret for Relationship Harmony
Astrology Meets Tarot
I always like watching full moons and new moons, because it’s an gentle nudge to realign and check my course. So when we have something happening in the sky like a full moon, I often ask for guidance related to the event. That’s what I did today. For me, the full moon is in my seventh house.
Today’s tarot is the Ten of Waves, also known as the Ten of Cups, i.e. the happy family card. The astrological association for this card is Mars in Pisces.
Since Mars speaks to how you act, how you go after what you want, this card can be about more than just a happy home life. It can speak how you get that happy home life. Fighting for family harmony is one way. Finding it through transcendence is another option.
I recently found myself telling someone, “I think I’m easy to get along with. But maybe I’m wrong.” I meant it seriously. I could be, you know. I’ve got Mars-Neptune. When I’m mad, you may not know. I may also be in the center of some humongous battle without even being aware there is a conflict. Mix in a Neptune-midheaven opposition, and you’ve got the formula for having a huge amount of trouble grasping how other people perceive me. That could drive me insane. Fortunately, Pisces can disappear stuff like that.
Of course, there’s already a tendency to project the seventh house. And I soak up emotion. So breaking it down into what’s coming from me, and controlling that specifically, is a challenge. But there’s more to Pisces than emotional melding and confusion. There is also faith, transcendence, and boundless love.
That’s the hint for finding relationship harmony in the Ten of Waves. I can increase my sense of harmony through accepting others as they are. I can do my best to overlook or ignore little things, letting others find their own path. They are not me, nor should they be. That doesn’t mean I’ll necessarily want all flavors of energy in my life. It’s smart to be particular about what you invite into your everyday experience. But even that which I choose to completely leave behind, I can let go with an open heart and love. It’s not necessary to judge or evaluate or draw conclusions. I don’t always mange this level of transcendence fully, but when I do, it’s a beautiful thing…

Another Mars in Pisces here, in 5th house, and I had always heard Mars in Pisces was in its detriment, so it’s very nice to hear something positive about it. Looking for ways to communicate and express my physical energy – when I do that, I am usually happy and more harmonious with my world. Hoping this full moon will help!
Carrie, I’m really glad the card spoke to you today. And that plan you have sounds very do-able.
Mebeme, I think all placements have blessings as well as challenges. Glad you got a little encouragement from hearing a blessing perspective.

WoW Dixie- Did you draw this card for me??
I’ve got Mars in Pisces in the 4th House and the Full moon will be transitting over it and my N. Chiron. I’m working through a bit of transending myself right now with my Mother and looking for the key to finding harmony… and you’re post has provided it! Any way I go will be the right way as long as it’s done with genuine love and without judgement. Thank YOU!
