Astrology And Fashion: Celebs And Their Style – George Clooney by Annalisa
Astrology and Style
Taurus Sun and Mercury, George Clooney is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. As any Taurus will, George worked and toiled away building his career for years before he became what seemed a “break out” star. George’s Moon is in Capricorn as is his Saturn which is at home in Capricorn. With strong Capricorn placements trining his Taurus Sun, George parlayed his fame into becoming a leader for humanitarian causes that suit his rising in Pisces. George has his Pisces rising trine Neptune in Scorpio giving him a knowledge of his own sexuality and it’s not surprising that he is considered “The Sexiest Man Alive” by People Magazine. George has Mars in Leo trined by his Venus in Aries giving him a dramatic edge and a physical side that does not go unnoticed in his work and in his presence. I find that actors that have a few strong placements in the Fire signs have a screen presence that is hard to ignore and more forceful than those who don’t have a kick of fire in their charts. Rounding out his chart, George has Jupiter in Aquarius adding to and already humanitarian chart.
As is often the case with Taurus Sun and Capricorn Moon, George worked on his acting career for some time before he was noticed by the masses and achieving “Star” status. George’s father was a game show host, an anchorman and an American Movies Classic host. George’s mother was a former beauty pageant queen, so between both his parents he was exposed to life in the public eye by participating in his father’s shows by hanging around the sets and was said to be a “crowd pleaser.”
With his Mars in Leo and Aries Venus supporting it he would have had a good time projecting his character outward and enjoy receiving accolades as a young boy. When George was in middle school he developed Bells palsy which paralyzes the face. He was taunted in school during this time although the illness went away within a year. A true Taurus with Capricorn Moon, George says of that time, “That was the worst time of my life,” and “the experience made me stronger.” The more an Earth sign overcomes the stronger it makes them, most often, and George is no exception. George’s early career, before being noticed and finding fame, consisted of appearances on television series both guest-starring and repeating roles and at least one movie role that went mostly unnoticed.
George came to fame on the television show “E.R.” where he played a doctor, and true to his Taurus and Capricorn working ethics, George started doing movies before he quit his role on “E.R.” Wanting the security of a steady paycheck while branching out into movies once his star started to rise, George did 6 seasons of “E.R.” George, with his Venus and Mars in Fire signs, took roles in films that had some action as well as those that had plots in business (Taurus/Capricorn) which suited his chart. He took films like the very successful “The Perfect Storm” and “O Brother Where Art Thou” before teaming with director Steven Soderbergh to make the “Ocean’s Eleven” first film that was his biggest commercial success.
Working his way up as a Taurus will do and being motivated by the career-loving Capricorn Moon, George started to direct after the success of his first “Ocean’s Eleven” movie. George would continue to work hard from his earth trine that is completed by Pluto in Virgo and did the movie “Syriana,” where he suffered an brain injury. The same year as he did “Syriana” he, despite his injury, directed, produced and starred in the film “Good Night and Good Luck.” George would find his career and hard work finally pay off when he was both nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Supporting Actor,” “Best Director” and “Best Original Screenplay.” George would be the first to be nominated for directing in one film while acting in another and would win the Academy Award for “Best Supporting Actor.” George continued to act and direct and has been nominated for the Academy Award again as well as a “Golden Globe,” a “Screen Actors Guild Award” and a “BAFTA.” George’s star has risen and it has largely been due to his hard work and commitment while loving what he does.
With Pisces rising, especially trine Scorpio, George has been interested in humanitarian issues and has had his hand in charity work for some time. He understands the need for security being a Taurus Sun as well as the need for survival given his chart. George is very active in donating money to the “International Rescue Committee” and is active in “Not On Our Watch” as well as “Darfur Now” and “Hope for Haiti Now.” With Jupiter in the 12th house in Aquarius and Moon and Saturn in Capricorn in the 11th house, George is very mindful of others and how they live. He is a humanitarian and comes by it naturally. George becomes more and more active and the United Nations has appointed George a United Nations messenger of peace.
With Mars in Leo and an Aries Venus backing it up, George is very aware of his look and is quite styled toward being attractive in a well thought out way. He also has Pisces rising trine Neptune in Scorpio and Capricorn Moon giving him a leaning toward liking the “leading man” look. George’s hair is kept a bit long in front so it pops a bit on his forehead with a nod to Leo Mars and is tinted with shine product to give it a glow. He is always very well turned out with a leaning toward the old classic “movie star” style of tux and tan.
With a home in Italy, his suits are often Italian-styled and of the very finest fabric. George knows how to turn out for an event and with his Taurus Sun he appears comfortable in his tailored suits and just this side of flashy with his tan and very whitened smile. An ambassador for good looks, George never fails to present in his classic style when on the red carpet. A Capricorn Moon and Saturn would want to appear classic and George’s style is more classic than daring. He favors black and white in his suits and often leaves a button or two open in photos to give a flash of skin and a European look. He would be aware of his sexuality with his Pisces and Scorpio trine and he often takes photos that show his deep eyes and dark tan coupled with is wide and white style.
George is highly styled and would feel secure in being so. His casual look is jeans or slacks with a T. and he has his facial hair groomed but visible. George favors mustaches and a light beard from time to time giving him the “manly man” look that he is known for. The older George gets and the more successful the more groomed he seems to be and the more polished, although he is caught from time to time with that Irish facial hair a bit out of control for no one can be perfect all of the time! George is a looker for certain and uses this in his photographs but does not seem to need to lean on it for his work. Being a Taurus, George would want his work to be based on something other than being attractive and it is.
We will see more of George Clooney given his chart and his love of hard work and drama. As a leader in the way of humanitarianism we should see much of him as well because George has a Pisces rising that will have compassion for those with less or those who suffer. George has dabbled in politics but so far he has not made any noises that cause us to think he will enter politics in the future although one never knows!

GC has been touted as a modern day Carie Grant.
When I first saw him on ER, I thought he was just a pretty face. But he does have some serious chops. And also he is a great comedian.
He is the one who pulled together the wonderful fundraiser, musical event 1 week after 9/11 in NYC, there were the most amazing preformances.
He also is capable of partying hard and into the wee hours, as witnessed by an aquanitance in St Louis who runs a casino there, while filming Up in the Air. How can someone party so hard and still end up looking gorgeous on shoot the next day?
He’s one of my favorites; this is awesome, Annalisa! Lots of great info here – thank you!
He is the one man who has it all in my opinion. I can see why he got the sexiest man alive title.
My Pisces Sun, Cap Moon AND Taurus Mars like him… a lot
