Awwwww…you mean the ‘love of my life’ won’t come knocking on my door in defiance of all the signs that I have on my door telling every one to go the fuck away?
Nah, truth be told, I don’t really want to develop a relationship here as I am (what we called in the military) ‘short.’ That means you have received your orders to move on to the next base, so the interim time, the enthusiasm for the current placement dwindles.
I am just finishing some projects and biding time. Anyway, all the men here where my mom lives in FL are either married or, like, 100 years old.
So have you got any plans to move, Loonsounds? Wow, we are a loooong ways away from each other. I’m in the interior, in B.C.
Elsa, can I ask you a question? I know you already said something about love at first sight, in reference to yourself. I wrote it down, because I also have Uranus in the 7th. Did I understand you correctly? Anyway, I am just wondering if you really believe in love at first site. Or is it perhaps just that instant connection? I really felt that with this guy. But you know how you don’t want to trust “feelings” like that.
How about anyone else on here, does anyone else believe in love at first sight?
Yeah, I think you know pretty quickly when it’s genuine. Finding out if you fit each other takes more time and is a requirement to a lasting relationship as well IMO. But love, that happens in an instant sometimes I think. Maybe almost all of the time, just not necessarily the first moment.
Snapdragon, I would just say that every good relationship I have ever had… the attraction was immediate and the whole thing formed virtually on the spot. Def… committed with 24 hours.
Uranus acts fast, lol.
My venus trine uranus acts similarly – if I’m attracted it happens immediately and intensely. But then Saturn freaks out and puts on the brakes to make sure it checks out.
Moon/Neptune DC definitely believes in love at first sight. You recognize your other half as soon as you see them. Something inside says, ‘hey, don’t I know you? you are like me, and we fit in all the right places’ 
“develop yourself…”
I think I’m going to try to keep that in mind.
My love happened instantaneously. And has lasted 17 years and counting. But Uranus is in my 2d house, so I don’t guess that had anything to do with it.
Yeah man, if you receive a pile of disconnected bits of madness, make a shocking, riviting, creative collage. Whoever that attracts, there’s a soul mate.
I’m sooo wary about love at first sight. Even tho it’s so awesome (at the time). Maybe I’m really unconscious cuz those synastries will involve heavy Saturn contacts without fail. Mmm, at least I’ll learn a lot. Cant that be done some other happier ways? Yet I can’t help my self see with Uranus-Venus square and Aries Mars on the DC. Regardless developing the self is the sure road to better-ness in all areas.

Thanks again for this, Elsa! It’s a constant struggle for me since I have this tendency to “morph” into what I perceive as my partner’s (or whoever partner I have at that time) ideal woman. It’s only until I had this pluto transit that this has come to surface.
I’m learning to channel the attractiveness of being a Venus in Taurus with positive aspects to Saturn and the moon and hard aspects to Mars and Uranus. Let me tell ya, it’s a challenge!

As a Venus in Capricorn I really need to hear this. I tend to look outward and fall in love at first sight but with Saturn in the first don’t have a lot of self confidence so don’t always attract those I am attracted to. I am going to get some string and paper and get to work! Thank you for posting this stellar advice Elsa!

Snapdragon: I believe that love at first sight points to a powerful karmic contract between the two people. It doesn’t mean much more than that, in my opinion.

That’s the secret! No matter how you cut it, it all comes back to doing the work on our selves. Sure there are people out there who seem to get a free pass when it comes to finding love but for most of us, it takes time and effort. Astrology can be a great tool for pointing to those areas we need to focus on but all the knowledge gained isn’t going to do sh** unless it’s applied! Welcome to the world of the Saturn ruled . . .
