Dixie’s Daily Tarot, July 25, 2010: Full Moon in Aquarius Takes a Stand
Astrology Meets Tarot
I like to ask tarot for focal points during astrological events. That full moon in Aquarius has some interesting possibilities.
The Seven of Wands is sometimes described as the “taking a stand” card. The traditional Rider Waite version demonstrates this concept clearly. This version, from the Legacy of the Divine, doesn’t feel quite so lonely. Here, the victor from the sixth of wands is preparing to step through a portal, a new journey. He’s not resting on his laurels. He’s on his way to new accomplishments, integrating what he’s learned in his previous travels.
Seven in tarot denote control themes–in this case, self-control. Symbolically, the number seven is associated with spirituality. This is a card of being true to your spiritual conviction, always acting in accord with your spiritual conviction. A sure route to peace is when what you believe, what you say, and what you do are all in harmony. Then, you know you’re living the best life you can. Then, there’s no dissonance. Without the distraction of internal conflict, your energy can all be directed to exemplifying your values.
I love seeing this card at the full moon. Learning from the past and taking it into the future with integrity, with conviction, and with resolve is a beautiful base for a new beginning. Having the new moon fall in my sixth house, I am looking at the freedom to do work consistent with my spiritual convictions. Aquarius approves of trying to make the world a better place.
How closely do your beliefs, your thoughts, and your actions align? Does it impact your happiness?

In numerology I am a “7″ which suits me.
I am pretty certain that my beliefs, thoughts, and actions do align. I don’t know how to be phony. That’s why “fake” people steer clear of me, as I do of them.
