Old And Diseased

Ask the collective

Today my husband was talking about the inevitably of us growing old and becoming diseased.  Stark, I know but in whatever case, I don’t seem to care about either.

He has certain things he wants to achieve before he is old and diseased.  He wants to wind up in certain conditions when he is at this stage and is willing to work… to do anything to have it be that way.

The clear message is that if he fails to set up these conditions, he will feel his life to be degraded and my reality is in stark contrast.

I don’t think it matters one  what my conditions are. I think I take my misery or my happiness with me, no matter where I go.

I know this is a Saturn Neptune thing. The only way to fail is to fail to transcend.

How do you feel about this – growing old and becoming diseased?

Well I do regret not having jumped out of an airplane, since I’ve wanted to do that & not allowed now.

But aside from general expectations that have been eroded – working, being in the same time zone as husband LOL, not having every joint in my body hurt – I can’t really think of any specific conditions that would make me say “if XYZ then I’m sinking.”

I have more to say but I’ll wait.

I know my husband has also been thinking alot about this lately- which is really out of character for him actually. I think though that his sudden focus isn’t really for his own sake, but that he’s been worried about what kind of condition he’ll be leaving me in when his time comes.

I do have some fears about being lonely in old age, as I used to be a telephone operator years ago and would receive calls from the elderly in retirement/nursing homes dialing 0, because they were sooooo lonely. : (

I don’t fear becoming old, but do fear a blurry mind. Trying to overcome thinking about these things, as I don’t want manifest this via my thoughts down the road.

I think I am missing a lobe of my brain…

My husband mentioned being homeless, sleeping in a box in Chicago, old and diseased because he’d failed to plan.

I said it that happened to me, “Well, first I would get out of the box so I could freeze to death and while that happened, I would marvel at how it all turned out. I’d be pretty amazed really, I’d not be able to stop myself.”

Elsa, you have a remarkable perspective, very 8th house and a nice balance with your husband.

Death? no doubt, Disease? can be averted, cut off at the pass, and healed or at least alleviated. We (in general) have become just so out of touch with own energy body, and that there quick and simple techniques to get it moving and awakened and to be in touch with it (like our ancestors were). I have been fortunate in my life to be able to reverse in my own body more than a few conditions ranging from very painful to life theatening….energy is everything
