What Did You Learn During Saturn’s Transit Through Virgo
Astrology in real life
Saturn leaves Virgo next month and won’t be back in the sign for about 28 years. Here’s a short list of what I learned during this transit:
- Use fewer words.
- Work your intellect to avoid becoming stupid even if you didn’t start out that way.
- Avoid brainwashing/propaganda/guard your mind
- Don’t waste anyone’s time including your own.
You?

Kettle up your coffee.
Don’t mix your alcohol and don’t forget to floss your teeth. Your mama was right–if you don’t wear sunscreen you will have sun damage and it will vex you.
Pressing delete will become more appealing than pressing send.
It was in my 8th house. It was awful upon awful. The end!
Nice.
Guard your health, #1, always. If you don’t have that, everything else will be difficult, if not impossible, to deal with.
Oral hygiene affects the rest of your body. Brush, floss, go to the dentist.
Be careful of your communications at work. You can’t control what other people do or say, but you can control the flow of information about yourself that you provide to them. Be very mindful of the personal information you share. People will share inappropriately, though innocently, and it may reflect badly on you. They’re not looking out for you, so YOU have to look out for yourself.
When the going gets tough, at work or elsewhere, keep in mind the service you’re providing and the long-reaching effects it will have. That should get you through until you can move on.
Workaholism isn’t good for anyone. A break now and then is essential.
Chrispito, funny that we both advocate flossing.
And “Pressing delete will become more appealing than pressing send” is priceless.
Saturn rules teeth–maybe Virgo rules plaque?
You’d think with my Moon in Pisces I could be sensitive to the vibes of the times (actually makes me confused), but I gotta say wow, I wish I were as objective as you. Its like you can pull yourself out of a situation and see it 3D. I wish I had that skill. Good for you. Its good to be like that, I have no sense of timing and the energies that have their effect on me. Maybe thats the Neptune thing. Damn!
In the middle of 7 (mexican) virgos
I learned that scapegoat WINS
when left the building with the dignity save.
Honesty
Integrity
Its not in general, but i had up to here of virgo.
Elsa you are right, DECENCY is first.
Virgo clean every thing, and they use people like trash can if you are unaware.
Also Mexico is a virgo, 16 sept 1810.
Politicians “clean” public money.
Don’t procrastinate because if you don’t do it, it just isn’t going to get done. Budget your time. Prioritize.
I’ve learnt:
1. Mind your own business.
2. Be diplomatic nevertheless.
3. Your health is in your hands – don’t ignore symptoms.
4. Dont have expectations from others.
5. No one else is responsible for the circumstances in your life.
6. Speak when needed.
7. Be financially independent.
- Watch your health habits (food + sleep) because they affect your productivity.
- Be ready to change/adapt your original plans for ones with better efficiency.
- Being under pressure really tells you what you can cut and what you *have to* or decide keep no matter what. (I.e. Would this be a high priority if your schedule is packed? and Could you do this for grueling hours everyday or would it kill your soul to?)
- Pay attention. Even police can try to pull wool over your eyes if you don’t. (Courtesy Dad’s Saturn transit in the 3rd House.)
- Always double-check: confirm appointments, forms, etc. to be sure they’re on record.
“People will share inappropriately, though innocently, and it may reflect badly on you. They’re not looking out for you, so YOU have to look out for yourself.”
First prize!!
I leanrt that the earth matters not the human race. Dramas unhinged into a clean – and cold – sense of reality. Either things work or they don’t. No amount of force fixes things. Only the perfect solution comes through.
I learnt how to simplify, to live within my means, to cause least damage. My rewards have become very simple – the laughter at dinner time more than the recipe/menu/restaurant. I no longer find alcohol pleasurable. I prefer water.
Mind the details, mind the details, mind the details. If you don’t, they’ll come back and bite you.
Since it got close to my MC axis (and opposed Uranus), it caused me to see my family relationships in a whole new light.
Was in my 11th. Also have North Node in Virgo.
I feel my recent health blow-up was Saturn’s final kick to my ass, which was the best thing that ever happened to me, because I was headed to a nervous breakdown.
To not give up on trying to solve my daughter’s issues – I went to and yet another specialist, and she will be starting new medication that I can only hope will help.
My daughter and I started taking long walks together, and I enrolled her in a gym for people with special needs. We are also in a 3 month program to help parents help kids in the autism spectrum develop healthier habits.
But I too eagerly look forward to Saturn leaving Virgo.
It’s been in my 6th for most of the Virgo transit; I’ve found myself in the oddest work situation imaginable….probably the best job I ever had, but also the most draining. It’s not been easy, but I hope it will pay off in the end. Strangely enough, for a person with chronic health issues, this has been a particularly problem-free transit. Wonder what’s up with that?
I learned I need to face reality on its own terms without attempting escape into delusion and fancy.
Saturn in Virgo is transiting my second house, alongside Pluto.
Saturn transiting my 11th house- I’ve totally been reevaluating my relationships and social circle, and have established some much needed boundries as well as broken down a few boundries that has proved to provide me with relationships that are much less one-sided and meaningful. It’s also been a learning, learning, and more learning experience… so much so, my brain sometimes hurts.
I learned not to believe superficial appearances in another, and that my trust needs to be earned.
It transited my sun/pluto/uranus conjunction + venus and mercury in the 10th.
The only thing in my life that is the same since fall 2007 is my dog.
I’ve learned how it feels to loose ALL your family, being evicted from your place and that my own mother is not my real mother at all, just a random person with a similar DNA (will never understand why parents force their children to support them, even if these children live in poverty themselves). Saturn in Virgo taught me how to work in the Federal Government (hopefully I understand it now). And that all males are the same, so I just need to choose legal, healthy, and financially well doing one.
Good health is worth the hard work.
So is a clean house.
I learned my body/health is fcked and it was a surprise and genetic (Uranus/Pluto in Virgo generation).
I learned to discriminate about who I serve.
1) Don’t be overly judgmental.
2) Choose your words carefully.
3) Temper bluntness.
4) Watch what you eat.
Ask for what you want. Then work for it. Don’t just wish for it.
Ddefinitely agree with “use fewer words.” (Also, “stop abusing punctuation and capital letters.”)
In a personal sphere, “clean up your values and your attitude toward money.” (Virgo in the 2nd.)
Saturn in Virgo in 11th:
Circle of friends has shrunk down to the few that stayed beside me after Saturn tore up my 10th Leo Stellium; don’t know who I value/have to thank more, the ones who left or the ones who stayed! Learned a lot from all of them.
Serious re-evaluation and realignment of the way I conduct my ‘business’ in groups/organizations. Much more careful, less shoot-from-the-hip.
Spent a great deal of time working to refine and define hopes, dreams, wishes.
More serious reassessment of my work, and what I want to do re: work, jury’s still out on that.
Have no idea what to expect for Saturn’s journey into my Libra 12th house.
It’s not just about taking care of details, it’s about taking care of the RIGHT details. Hard work in and of itself is not the key- smart work is. If your focus is wrong, it doesn’t matter if you’re working hard to achieve it- do you really get a prize for working very hard to dig yourself a deep hole?
I learned:
to stop talking into fans (mostly)
that words won’t solve everything, and sometimes won’t solve anything
that no matter how precise and concise I am, there will be misunderstandings and often they are deliberate
thirding kashpito: that “delete” is often more appealing than “send”
that pie-in-the-sky can look fabulous, but you’re never gonna eat it if you don’t try to get there
that you have to pay the bills, even if you’d rather drink and be merry
… and I’m sure there’s more, but that’s a good list.
The time to act is now.
Talk less and no loose talk.
Feed yourself a healthy menu of food and information.
Ration your time well.
Love yourself.
Be independent. spiritually, financially, emotionally, intellectually.
Be Yourself and accept your boundaries.
Facing fears leads to liberation
Be flexible.
Hello you all,
I have saturno in virgo, conjunct mercury, in my 7th.I ‘ve learnt quite a bit since 2007:
1. Old is good.
2.Talk isn’t cheap, despite what others might say.Careful with your words.
3. It is possible to say no with integrity.
4. Listen to your partner, but ground yourself: you are the only responsible for your balance.
5. Suck it up and carry on. Sometimes it is not personal, but when it is, go on and speak out, instead of bottling up and exploding in rage.
6. Be loyal to yourself, even under criticism. Decency is not a luxury.
7. Hardship makes your game better.
8. No relationship happens in la-la-land.Get real. You still have to manage your life yourself and buy your own milk.
9. Endure. You are stronger than you think.
10. No matter how in love you are keep going to the gym.
11. Hate your dentist but don’t tell him.
regards,
Syd
Oh my god, don’t tell that to my family virgos, they will die of joy.
Wait a minute, on the second thought…..
Thaks Syd
Saturn in my sun sign…
Why did it have to oppose Uranus?????
Okay, I have to admit, I feel freeeeeee!!!
Thank you Saturn.
Also: pick my battles carefully, and fight them well. Which really comes back around to
Manage your resources.
That some people have an unusual amount of fascination with shows like ‘The Hoarders’
That the sands of time will bury everything in dust unless someone makes an effort, including the mummified remains of television viewers with their hands still gripping the remote.
- work hard, save up, plan financially
- work on self esteem, don’t pass the buck
- don’t let others take your work, you learn from it
- you need to sleep enough to work and play well
- clean up, get healthy, eat healthy
- up your standards for both work and respect
- organize our thoughts, cut out the rubbish

Yar… Virgo in Saturn. During a Virgo in her Saturn return. Didn’t I hear something about Saturn retrograde too? Things I have learned…
-you know more than you give yourself credit for.
-you know far less than you want to admit.
-you are in control of your own fear, not the other way around.
-”authorities” are not always so.
