Dixie’s Tarot Forecast, 6/20/2010: Electric Flight to Victory

Astrology Meets Tarot

Chariot

We’ve fought our way though the summer grand cross thus far, and many are feeling fried. We sometimes forget the same celestial lightening zaps can also propel forward, so long as we consciously harness and direct.

The Chariot gallops up, inviting us to use the crackling power of directed focus to further our goals. Seven is associated with spirituality, and Major Arcana cards point to significant transformations.

She sports the symbol of Cancer on her chariot’s front. The moon and sea echoes the Cancer theme, so while her feelings are serious business, this is clearly one crab that’s come out of her shell. Don’t mistake her for anybody’s victim.

The Magical Staff she wields directs her energy and lights the way. Without the orb of focus, her energy would be dissipated, ineffective. Her journey is jointly lit by her inner emotional barometer of the moon and the light of her resolve.

Likewise, her light and shadowed-colored horses pull in differing directions. She reins in opposing forces back to the center of her intent, effectively managing their power while keeping on-course.

The Chariot delivers power to move forward with wings, but not effortlessly. The power will move us regardless, but progress is the well-earned reward of those dedicated to focusing their emotional energy with passion and determination.

That makes me happy to know, that it’s helpful and resonates.

My man is Mars in Cancer, and I think as a group, Mars in Cancer gets unfairly pegged as less formidable than they are. Emotions can be a source of great strength as easily as they can be a source of weakness.

I love this beautiful deck and a very good write up goddess! My ex SO has Mars in Cancer. I think he needs to hear this too! Awesome!
