Actor Angelina Jolie is so widely known in the press that it is a question as to whether it is the fans that drive the tabloids or the tabloids that drive the fans. Angelina has a Gemini Sun with Mercury joining it in the 11th house giving her a great interest in humanitarian interests which she acts upon often. With Mars, Moon, Jupiter and Midheaven in Aries, and in the 9th house where it would be at home, Angelina has even more interest in other cultures and a generosity towards those people. She has put as much energy into her humanitarian efforts and travels as she has in her acting career.

Angelina has a Cancer rising with Venus and Saturn in the 12th house making it important for her to work through her childhood fears and deal with enemies both real and imagined. With Cancer rising one would like to keep their personal life out of the public eye, but with Saturn in Cancer her personal life would become a group of issues that must be dealt with. Indeed, her personal life has been the subject of the media and the interest of fans almost from the beginning of her career. We can expect that Angelina might have had an issue with security when she was young with Saturn in the 12th and in Cancer, and in fact she has had an up an down relationship with her father in the press. With actions magnified by Aries Jupiter and Aries Moon her emotions are magnified as well and must have taken some time to tame while she was building her career.

Angelina has Neptune in Sagittarius in the 5th putting a twist on the truth and opening up her love life for both speculation and drama, Angelina has had a hell of a ride in the press. With the Sun and Mercury in the 11th house the roles she played in fantasy movies such as “Cyborg 2″ and “Laura Croft: Tomb Raider,” would be right up Angelina’s alley since “other worldly” realities would appeal to her and interest her as well. Angelina used her emotions again to star in “Gi,” and won critical acclaim for her portrayal of a woman who had a life twisting out of control. Angelina had some experience with a life that was not so stable in her own reality and she could draw on her large emotional well to work the script. All the while the press was following her in her marriages exposing some deep emotional attachments such as her wearing the blood of her second husband, Billy Bob Thorton.

With Cancer rising and Saturn and Venus in Cancer in the 12th, we can assume that Angelina had issues with her parents and those played out in the press. While she was estranged from her father she would often appear to refuse to discuss her issues with him because Cancer does not like to open their personal life to the public. But her father was outspoken, even accusing Angelina of having a “mental illness.” Later, as Saturn does, Angelina would work out her issues with her father and apply her considerable compassion for children, which can be Cancer in the 12th, by taking responsibility for as many children as she could since Saturn and Venus (love) are in the 12th house which represents compassion as well. It almost appears as if Angelina grew in the public eye and switched her large emotional capacity and deep feelings from playing them out in public to becoming a force for good in the lives of children across the globe. Still, she must have had a hard ride getting to where she is now with such a sensitive chart.

Angelina is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world and in some cases, the most beautiful woman in the world. She has changed her style along with her image as she started out wearing much leather and black with much skin showing. She kept her hair and make up dark and her clothing darker in her early career. Often frowning at the camera and showing off her numerous tattoos, Angelina went for shock value in the beginning. Her tattoos are interesting in that she is a Gemini Sun and her tattoos are mostly of wording in different languages that say things that either uplift her or declare her belief system. A Gemini is a communicator and she uses her tattoos to communicate her feelings instead of using pictures. She has 13 known tattoos and often these are covered up for filming or for photo shoots. She has changed two of her tattoos, one of them being the name of her second husband. Angelina has Pluto and Uranus in Libra so it’s no surprise that she would personalize her tattoos and have them reflect her personal life and those close to her.

Relationships would be intense for Angelina and she has built a very large family for herself and literally created the family that a Cancer rising would crave. Her style after adopting and having children and establishing her own family has changed greatly, and we see more photos of Angelina in almost a retro look with her hair in waves and very taken care of and in gowns that are of color and not always black. She has taken on a classy look over a bizarre look, and her Gemini in the 11th look, combined with such a loud Aries, has been tamed to more of a Cancer-type look with bits and pieces of her old style of black on black. She has given the nod to vintage which is more Cancer style and has worn more color which is also more of her Cancer and Libra sides. Still, Angelina makes a big statement with her beauty and clothing choices given that her stellium in Aries would give her a dramatic turn when it comes to dressing.

With her dark coloring, Angelina looks great in color and has worn, as of late, green and yellow as well as other color gowns on the red carpet. Most everyone has an opinion on Angelina thanks to the open press about her all the while that she has been in the public eye. People have strong reactions to her and this is no surprise when one has Mars, Moon and Jupiter in Aries and something to say and a life to live out loud. Angelina has new releases coming out and has more charities to become a part of in her plans, so we can expect to see more and more of her as she builds her life out in the open. Whatever your feelings about Angelina you must admit that her life is one of action and thought and she has grown in our eyes as she as grown older.
